We took our grandaughters from Texas and went to Pompeys Pillar for Clark Days at the Pillar – what an interesting & informative afternoon.  We went thru the interpretive center, hiked to the top of the pillar, participated in the interpretive booths, had buffalo burgers for lunch & watched authentic Indian dancing by the Crow Dancers.

It was a great afternoon!!

We  started the day out  with the pancake breakfast & then walked in the parade with family & friends.  We threw LOTS of candy, saw many familiar faces and had a great time. We finished off the day watching the spectacular fireworks.  What a great celebration Laurel!

July 10 found us in Huntley, MT participating in Huntley Homesteaders Day.  We walked in a short parade, enjoyed the barbecue afterwards, played a little bingo and shopped at the many booths & craft fair.  It is nice to see how the whole community comes together to put a great day like this together.
