As you all know, my friends are conscious with their body (which includes me) especially these times. We are all getting old and we all want to achieve a fit body - not too thin, not too fat.

Generally, it is not recommended to use such products when working out. According to a fitness expert, everyone is different in their sensitivity to stims though. Just make sure you have about 6 hours spaced between your fat burner and your pre-workout. Or just use your fat burner for your pre-energy. And that's it.

View blog reactions

Festive time.

Christmas is near... Bringing good cheer...

True that! And everybody should be very happy because of the Christmas bonus. Yay! I'm sure everyone has plans on how to spend this hard earned cash. Well, for me, I;m planning to purhcase a new desktop PC and i prefer the assembled one because the one we have at home is quite old but still trusty. ;)

And later this year, I'm planning to buy a plasma TV as gift for mom and dad. So I'm expecting to choose new plasma mounts as well to make our living room cozier. After that, I'll buy a Wii console game for myself as birthday gift. Hooray! I can;t wait to play Guitar Heroes and enjoy the Wii Fit. I want to get physical... physically fit, I mean. How about you? Wrinkles will start to appear on your face so it's best to use anti-ageing creams to prevent it from appearing on your skin. Olay Total Effects is highly recommended by a friend but for now I'm still on the lookout for the best eye wrinkle cream. I'd rather spend on investing with beauty products than live in regret when I reach 40's. Just don;t forget the basic steps in beautifying - cleanse, tone and moisturize before you sleep. And wear sunblock everyday. :)

View blog reactions

Supply.

Several typhoons has been hitting Manila in the past few months. My cousin, on the other hand, is currently heart broken.

My friend from work says, she needs her "happy pill". My cousin, on the other hand, says she needs a "diet pill".

God knows why she needs those. She's been stuffing her mouth non-stop with foods since day 1 of her heartache. That's the way she nurses her heart - through eating. Sh is also torturing her body at the same time. She's been going out a lot lately, eating junk foods, bringing home fast foods.. She forgot to be self-conscious compared before when she was still sane. Oh well. That's what love can do - either it makes you or breaks you. Obviously, she's the latter.

Guys are like studs. You can find them anywhere cause as the saying goes, "There's plenty of fishes in the water". It's natural for a person with a broken heart to cry and dwell on it but not so long. Remember that we have a life so we should get over it and go on with our lives. You don't need to rush into love. It will simply come to you when it's time. Trust your heart. You'll just feel it. ;)

View blog reactions

Old Me.

Losing weight is one of the big issues which people has been battling with over the years. I admit I gained weight 2 years ago and I find it difficult to shed those extra calories. I worked out, jogged at night, and even enrolled in a boxing class. Gladly, it slowly paid off but my belly fat is still here. This is, honestly, the most difficult thing to remove. I want my old waist line back. Gone are the days when I can eat anything I like without being conscious in my calorie intakes. Maybe the fact that my body burns it fast, plus my lifestyle then (I was active) contributed to achieve that slim body. Oh my! I'm starting to get frustrated now. I still believe that I can get my old body back in no time... as long as I exercise and workout frequently, I eat healthy foods, and have discipline with myself. Well, it's also normal for someone who will be moving in to a new place. But my point is, I'm not newly wed, and I'm not moving in to a new place, but I'm so interested with home designing. I'm so into it that I've asked few people about it. I even saw one website where I can design any room and see if it fits my taste. I can select the quality, species, style, color, and construction type. Even the furnitures can be modified according to your preference. I even saw glass tiles which will come in handy when my turn comes to light. Sigh! For now, all I can do is visualize everything. Well, my close friends know that I'm a near-sighted person. i don't wear contact lens coz I find it difficult to place them in each of my eye. In short, I'm scared. I only wear glasses at work (inside the office), and I remove them when I leave my desk. A friend of mine has the same problem. But he, on the other hand, wears contact lens at work. When he had the time to chit chat together, we both found ourselves interested with lasik surgery. I heard that it costs 70,000 pesos here. the cheapest would be around 50,000 pesos. But we're still debating which place has the cheapest one. He mentioned the lasik surgery Mexico but I'm afraid to go there (coz it would be my first time to leave this country). So I told him, I'd rather have it done here than elsewhere. So when the time comes that I badly need it, I'd really go for it. I need my eyes of course, so I can see the world. :)

View blog reactions

Body-licious.

I found this interesting site. So before anything else, you should know what is an insurance. Actually, I’ve made a lot of posts regarding this matter so you could browse for it here in this site anytime.

I guess you are familiar with auto insurance. Here’s a short description for it, it is insuring your car so that whatever happens to it - a scratch or whatever - you will feel secured because it is insured. When choosing auto insurance, use the Internet’s resources to educate yourself about the basics, find a broker you trust and ask for the auto insurance quotes, then have the policies he or she recommends evaluated by a fee-only insurance advisor. Follow these simple steps and you’ll be confident with your choices. I have no idea what a lamb motor is. I looked for an improvised door knob alarm in Quiapo. I assembled the parts (there's a manual, and yes, I'm a cheater.lol), and made it look presentable. The day came when I have to show it to my professor. I demonstrated it by hanging the gadget on the doorknob. Once a human touched that doorknob, the alarm will suddenly turn on. I was even planning to bring it home to use it. Foolish of me! Because wI happen to pass to an electronic shop and saw that there are wireless alarms available. It's more convenient and easy to use compared to my modified alarm. Time really flies fast. It was last month when they have finally moved in to their new place in Moreno Valley. He toured me around their new haven via his Powerbook's webcam, and the place is nice. His room was very simple, as what he had made me visualize, and roomy. What I like most is the main bathroom - the biggest of all in the house. It has a stone bathroom sink plus it has a gigantic shower head. Ahh! I could just imagine myself taking a long shower. The kitchen area was very neat, and oh how I'd love to cook and bake when our kitchen counter is similar to theirs. haha. Kidding aside, their new place is homy. I hope I'd be able to visit their place soon. I can't wait. It's either they are really want to shed off their extra calories, or they would like to gain weight. There are only 2 choices when losing weight - either do it the easy and expensive way, or do it the hard but healthiest way. Easy way is that you visit a doctor and have a liposuction, or you buy over-the-counter weight loss pills. But beware of its side effects.

The hard way is simply changing your eating habits. Maintain proper diet and exercise regularly. Be conscious of your calorie intake and strictly drink water. It might sound hard but you can have alternative ways to make it easy and fun. You can play music while working out, or you can eat some "tempting foods" once in a while to reward yourself of your hard work. So good luck with the choices you make, and have a healthy body!

View blog reactions

Busy and free.

Busy as a bee. That's what I am until last Friday. My mushu left for US and imagine all the preparations we've been doing for the past few weeks. There are those errands which his family has requested him to do... those things he wanted to bring to US like new shoes, tuxedo shirt, caps... the parties which we threw for his friends... and so much more. The list was really long and I'm glad it's over. I've been looking forward to this day since January of this year, and now that the day has finally arrived, all I have to worry is the battle we're in right now. We decided to continue our relationship, and I'm proud to say that we are very much in it and we want to survive! I lift up everything to Him for He is good and He is the greatest. After a couple months of hiatus, I'm alive and kicking once again... and is ready to face the blogging world again. A lot has happened when I was temporarily gone. One is that we had a family issue. They have been fighting over the lands in the province, and it has even reached the court. It does happen - the fight over legal issues - so I'm not surprised to learn about it anymore. But what hurts here is the part that we have to hire some mesothelioma lawyers to defend our side, and for that we have to pay them a lump sum of money. And when I think over about it, I'm regretting the money lost in the process, and the fact that we can use that money to buy things to invest in. Oh well, sometimes life is really hard. All I can do is pray that these issue would end.. soon.

View blog reactions

E-books... But sometimes I tend to sleep with the book open, and so I have a tendency to rip off the book in the morning when I wake up. Believe it or not, it happened to me a couple of times already, and there was a time that I ended up buying my friend a brand new book. Fyi, I don't buy books. I usually borrow them only from my friends. And so, when I bought her one, I realize how easy it is to buy books online! Guess what, I bought her a cheaper book from Amazon books. Well, she knows about it, and she's not mad at me. From then on, my friend suggested that I download e-books for free and upload it on my phone. In that way, I can read the book part by part. :)

View blog reactions

<link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/DamselInDistress/~3/IQ_SMJaHAK0/e-books-i-love.html" title="E-books... There is still time for everyone to pack their bags and go on a splendid vacation. I know it's raining frequently on a summer time (what a weird weather!) but there are still many ways to spend it wisely. A friend came by to our house last weekend and she was planning to do a different experience. And she's asking me if I want to join her in one of her many gay vacations. lol. I am so excited but sad to say I couldn't come because I have other plans cooked up until June. But I'm getting excited for her because she plans to ride an Asian cruise. Gosh! I envy her. So my tip for everyone out there - enjoy while the sun is still here!

View blog reactions

Are you insured?

The term insurance, as simply stated, is a protection against a financial loss. In our everyday lives, of course there are many risks in our day-to-day living - accidents, illness, and other incidents or things. And therefore, insurance can help you plan more confidently for the future with the assurance of knowing that you are protected should the unexpected loss occur.

There are many kinds of insurances: Auto Insurance protects against financial loss if you have an auto accident. There is also an option to purchase an auto insurance quotes without personal information. General types of coverage include property, liability and medical. Another kind is Home Insurance which covers fire, weather-related destruction and other losses, depending on the coverage purchased. There is also this Commercial Insurance protects business owners from certain business-related losses, including injured workers and equipment and building destruction. And the last kind which is very familiar to everyone is Life Insurance. It provides protection against adverse financial consequences of a death in the form of payment to a beneficiary, whether in a lump sum or through installments.

View blog reactions

Need medical work?

The graduates of medical courses are having a hard time looking for a job. Most of the people I know wants to pursue their career with the field they are in. But since it's recession and not most hospitals and clinics are in need of nurses, some has applied in call centers, and some have worked even if they're not practicing their chosen career. The only reason I see why they do it is: MONEY. It's a fact that people work to gain money and survive in the world we're all living in.

Now my bf's cousin is still in search for a medical job. As I was browsing the net, I found a site that contains health care jobs, which made me want to refer her to. She plans to work in abroad even if she has 6 months working experience only. Well who knows, she might be strucked with luckiness, right? It won't hurt to try. :) So good luck to all the newly graduates and the job hunters.

View blog reactions

Design Concept.

I love watching home makeovers. It all started with the Queer Eye show and I am so thrilled to do it in my future home. Then, a lot of home or room makeover shows hav emerged and right now, I'm watching Wow Home in Travel and Living channel. They'd use some machines like lapidary machines to flatten things out. Now this rock tumblers kit made me want one too. They are used for decors to brighten up one room. I love designing things actually. I love to think of new concepts and put it into action. But for now, i don't want to pursue it. I'd just keep that talent to myself.
