Finally bit the bullet and ordered a drobo. Starting with the 2TB model, and will add 2 more TB in the next couple of months.

Running two copies of modo 3D on one machine. Two HD 3D renders going. Hmmm… Will it hold up? 6 Gigs of Ram enough? Dual 8-core enough?
