the AOL-Dump worked, put imperfectly -- I got a lot of code and meaningless jargon in the text of my old emails. still, nice to have them at all! hurray for escaping from AOHell!

i have tried many times to jailbreak my iphone form the safari app but it will not let me slide the bar to begin the jailbreaking i have even tried restarting my phone and it doesnt work ?

Like so many other Apple users I’m enamored with each deliciously-designed product that they release. But I understand what they are doing to us – they are changing the way we think, compute, consume and buy. As a futurist and early-adopter of most technology I’m ok with these changes. But Apple seems to be single-handedly launching us into new markets long before the public knows what to do with them. On one hand it’s the entrepreneur’s dream to have a new wild-west to conquer. But as consumers we are easily tricked into putting money back into Apple, AT&T and so many other companies’ products to feel like we are on the cutting edge of technology in this brave new age of computing. My first impressions of the iPad are exactly these thoughts. It’s not a matter of is it cool (it totally is) or do I want one (couldn’t wait.) It does everything I wanted and more. It’s got a few limitations I find frustrating. But once I got my hands on it I was drinking Apple’s kool aid once again and didn’t put it down for about 14 hours. Below is a brief review of the product and some initial impressions of the philosophy behind the technology, some questions about productivity and some excitement about the possibilities.

Well its 2010 and... THE WII IS A PIECE OF SHIT! Come on, the Wii is no fun with shooter games, its graphics are so bad it makes you paranoid and it will end up collecting dust if you have an xbox 360 or PS3 like me, Especially with Kinect coming out, you can expect Microsoft to scare the shit out of Nintendo.

Thanks for this. I'm not able to get it to work, though, and wonder if you might be able to help me. I adjusted the command slightly to match my setup:
/Applications/MAMP/bin/php5.3/bin/pear install http://download.pear.php.net/package/MDB2-2.5.0b2.tgz
and the response I get is:
/Applications/MAMP/bin/php5.3/bin/pear: command not found
though there is indeed a document titled "pear" in that directory.

Help?

typed /dev/sda instead of /dev/hda and saw a disk work diode, but it said "No space left on device". /dev/hd the same error.Trying with hda again and... diode lights... I think sudo access instead of root access was the problem. sda is a filesystem so it shouldn't work on that.

Doesn't boot, it says "DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER" when I reboot after the command in terminal

I concur. I loved this. It's a great guys movie. The whole white buffalo thing was kind of out of nowhere though. At first I thought they were referring to the 1977 Charles Bronson movie but apparently not. You gotta love the appearance of the ultimate 80's jerk that they made the bet with. Great ending too; long live Lougle =)

quinn thought it was a girl for most of the movie too. "he's not wearing a shirt half the time!" joey did from the trailer, as did most of her class. even lisa's dad thought it was a girl based on the trailer.
