It seems there are many turns in our life wherein each decision paves the way to a new direction.

Every year brings a new one…

Different aspects of our life are tested…

and our strengths and weaknesses truly come out.

These are those pivotal times in life where one can look back at the road they’ve travelled, let their eyes glean with tears and be truly proud of where they are standing. 

Many of us fall to our own vices…

Our poor judgement of people, ourselves, a system that controls our lives, a culture or whatever may be relevant to you. 

Hopefully before my 25th birthday in July - a new road will be set in place or the current road shows its destination point. But even before that happens…

It is the mindset that encaptures a true sense of pride in who we are, who we have become and who we will be that instills us with the motivation to push on with hope and happiness.

We are all not perfect but we are all blessed with many unique talents and quirks. 

Whether we look back to reminisce or forward towards aspirations, hold your head up with pride (and perhaps humility for some mistakes we have made as we are but humans) and march on.

The road’s shorter than we think, but when you’re walking it - we just don’t know the duration.

So for the final note, stand for who you are…be proud…be dignified and be fulfilled.

The other night I was driving home and a freakin koala was walkin past.

I stopped the car and proceeded to chase the chubby bear.

He’s a lot faster than we all think.

By the time I reached him…he was 2 metres high in a tree.

First of all let’s break it down into chunk then look into it.

Think those 3 are a good start.

1. How we feel on the day can be communicated by what we wear

Have you ever looked at your rack/ stack of tshirts - chosen.

Checked the look of the jeans/ pants to go with it - chosen.

These choices were not made by, ‘this is the look I want’ but more so by ‘this is what I feel like’.

You have right?

The theory I go by is that it’s your subconscious way of saying “this is how I feel today, take a look and approach accordingly”.

Quick example. Rockin the ugly huge sunnies and a college hoody with trackpants isn’t the most friendliest way to greet a friend unless you are REAL TIGHT, in that case it’s kinda cool. (think this relates to the females more…correct me if I’m wrong)

2. The obvious ‘demographic’ look

So you’re an angered youth - go emo (you may lynch me later)

So you have no intelligence - go jock (don’t pop your collar…and fluro is not fashionable)

So you think you’re fashionable - go retard (basically dress like a dyslexic giraffe was your robe coordinator)

So you’re 50 cent - go fake (metal coated plastic chains are not hard…they’re stupid)

So you’re gay - go look at point 3 (you’ll see in point 3)

If i haven’t pissed off everyone by now you are uber resilient or yes you got it! This is all not to be taken so seriously.

We all throw ourselves under a demographic or subculture that we believe defines us…half the time none of us know what we truly represent. The other half is a stupid jock that is rich via daddy so why care.

ANYWAY the point of number 2 is to reconsider what ‘niche’ do we really think we’re in…that’s all.

And do we fit, or is it all a happy facade for recognition?

3. Statement Steves

This is the person you see often that wears something a bit too outrageous or plain ugly on purpose so people notice them.

A feeble cry - to the natural instinct of wanting to be noticed. To these people…capital punishment should be reintroduced. Which super doting idiot with a fedora the size of Kansas doesn’t deserve a douche slap?

Or the super freak that wears leather pants and a fluro top doesnt deserve a public tar and feather?

There’s more examples but you get the idea - don’t over do it…we all have elements of it - like getting out that secret dress or pants/ shirt we have for a hidden giggle.

Just don’t over do it…you look like less fun than a clown in the rain and yes just about the same entertainment value.

Apart from that. Have a great day - these are thoughts so feel free to criticize or praise. Or just say something strange.

What have I been up to since coming back let’s list them:

- Watching 3rd rock from the Sun (a highly recommended series)

- Basically re-aligning my lifestyle the Adelaide lifestyle… a lengthy process due to the snail pace of this city…charming place….perhaps…but definitely slow

- Back at my job

- Hangin out with the family that hopefully missed me more than ET misses passing the full moon in a bike’s front compartment.

For now…I think that’s all I can think of.

Just been under the snow with getting my stuff together for my trip to Singapore/Korea.

Will be there till August the 6th. So bear in mind if posts come slow or perhaps even faster than usual!

First Lesson: Don’t watch it. If you do…leave after 30 minutes, because no it does not get better…it gets worse.

Second Lesson: Adam Sandler is still alright…while he does roll out many a lamer movie these days…We all still love him for about 2-3 awesome moves. (Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore come to mind)

Third Lesson: This is not a date flick. I repeat do not think comedy of this calibre will win the hearts of a woman that you desire haha

Out of 10…. 0.5 there were its ups and downs but they were all used in the trailer so nothing was uber awesome.

If you really have nothing to do and you want Adam Sandler to educate you on the Israel and Palestine war…this is what you’ve waited for all your life.
