Here we have the very first 8″ Custom Kid Robot Munny I have ever painted. This was a very special gift for a very important person in my life. I used blue and silver spray paint as a base and acrylic paint for the detail work. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Dragatomi Wall Mural

In 2009, the Cloud Nine crew (myself and Shawn Kahan) along with fellow graffiti artist Skitz painted a mural on the side of Dragatomi in Sacramento, CA (J street inbetween 23rd and 24th). I painted an AKS piece plus a dragon for my part. Check it out below!

Shepard Fairey Print

Sacramento, CA had it’s monthly Second Saturday event in midtown and downtown this past Saturday June 12th, 2010. As I was walking around, one of my buddies walked up and told me there were some Shepard Fairey prints at a nearby gallery called Solomon and Dubnick. Among the other artists were Rob Bowen, David Choe, and Mr. Brainwash (booooo~) lol. I decided to head on over to look around. Inside were many different Fairey prints but I decided on this one (pictured) simply for the classic Obey face, as this was Fairey’s first iconic image that I can remember. I also liked the punk rocker theme because it was a personal form of dissent for me growing up as a kid. Everyone around me listened to some form of punk, hard rock, or metal. I also felt like Fairey was poking fun of people who fit into this category because after all, it is just another group of people conforming to one set of beliefs. I always like to see duality within art, so I hope this is Faireys way of making you think beyond the norm.
