I love this tea set. I’m pretty sure I’ve never uttered those words before, but what can I say, I do. A concept project by Free Time Industries, the tray contains an induction plate, which means that it and everything on it stays cool to the touch, but the water will boil. They say that it makes the act of making tea more social, but I just think it’s really cool.

I’ve been an internet fan of the amazingly talented Kina Grannis for years and finally saw her live a few months ago, so I was really happy recently to see her new video getting a lot of attention. It’s made entirely with jelly beans, and was shot frame by frame, no special effects at all.

Wonderputt is a lovely little flash game by Damn Gnat. I very much enjoy the artwork, as well as the animation (especially the exploded torpedo!). Just wonderful.

I was also happy to discover these behind-the-scenes details about the making of the game.

Even though I don’t sketch much, this thing looks like magic, and I really want to try it out.

I very much enjoy all three of these videos by Rick Mereki, but especially the above MOVE. Great execution. Makes me want to travel.
