The single which has two versions, one for the airwaves and another for the dancehall, has been steadily gaining momentum in both spheres.

Spice, known for her hits Fight Ova Man, Ramping Shop alongside Vybz Kartel, Slim vs. Fluffy feat. Pamputtae, Jim Screechie, Fun featuring international superstar, Missy Elliot, Hot Patty Wine, Dick Is The Name Of My Boyfriend (My Boyfriend Dick) and more, says not only was working with Troy McLean and Dave Kelly for the track was a great experience, but "the fans have also been very receptive to the song."

"The females especially have been loving the new single. We love to find ways to say that we are the best, so this is a song that every female can sing and boast to. It also has a nice little sexy vibe to it to dance to. The vibe in and outside of the dance has been great so far," says Spice.

In addition to Body Great, Spice's new single Take Him Out, alongside international R&B singer, Mya, was released on Mya's album K.I.S.S. and the video for which will be released in a few days.

"Working with Mya was a lot of fun. Ras Kassa shot the video for Take Him Out and it was done locally. It's very colourful with lots of dancing, because as everyone knows, that's something Mya does exceptionally well and is known for. The video will also have a storyline that everyone can follow. So just look out for it in a few days," says Spice.
The occasion was the celebration of Digicel's fifth anniversary in that island at its National Park on Friday February 17, 2012.

The singjay blasted on stage with his usual burst of energy singing No Love Inna Dem, which had his fans screaming and hands in the air. The pressure intensified when he drew for hits such as My Life, Nuh Ramp Wid Wi and Lose A Friend.

It was sweet nostalgia when he went into his catalogue of old hits which included Stab Vampire and Different Page.

But it was when he did his two newest songs Jah Jah and Nah Eat that I-Octane got the surprise of his life. He received the biggest forward for those songs!
"I didn't know it had taken off so much in Guyana, why even a lot of my fans in Jamaica don't know it yet," he said after his performance.

Following I-Octane's hour-long fiery performance on stage it was time for R&B singer Keri Hilson. She could do no wrong the music lovers there and scored with songs such as Return The Favour, Slow Dance and How Does It Feel.

The sibling group Morgan Heritage brought the curtains down on the show in fine style performing hits such as Down By The River, Don't Haffi Dread, Best Friend and Earlier in the evening local acts got the chance to shine and they performed to good response
Though no strangers to the island, fans have been earnestly waiting for their visit and to see the band perform singles from their current album Patriots. The island was abuzz the minute their arrival was announced and in typically fashion, band members took to the airwaves to promote the shows and greet fans.

Prior to their performances, the band attended a meet and greet held in their honor at Tropics Café in Honolulu. Fans gathered at the venue to take photos with the band and musicians showed up to have their instruments signed. The apparent admiration and respect for a band now celebrating 39 years was overwhelming at times but the group remained humbled and spoke to everyone present.

Band members Maurice Gregory (Keyboard) and Tony "Ruption" Williams (Drummer) joined local favorite Mike Love on stage for an impromptu jam session. Cat Coore remarks "The people of Hawaii are very warm and have been supportive of our music over the years. It is always great to perform there and meet the fans. We are grateful - we don't take that for granted." And with that Third World took over the island in a four concert showdown on the islands of Hilo, Kauai, Oahu and Maui.

On Thursday, February 16th the band performed at Hilo Palace Theatre in Hilo. Hawaiian musicians Mike Love and Paula Fuga (an American Idol contestant) opened for the Third World. However the surprise of the night came when Paula Fuga returned to the stage to perform "Irie Ites," which was recently re-recorded with the songstress, with the band. Other surprises of the night included additional classics to the set list such as "Jah Glory," "African Woman," "Riddim Haffi Rule" and "Dancing on the Floor." After their performance fans gathered backstage to meet the band and take photos.

The band flew to their second locale on Friday, February 17th to perform in Kauai at the Kuhio Lounge (Aston Hotel). The slightly younger fan base converged to dance the night away with the Reggae Ambassadors. The set was not free of fans screaming selections that they wanted to hear. The most requested single was "Roots and Quality." For the performances on the 18th in Oahu and the 19th in Maui, the band shared the stage with Tarrus Riley and Dean Fraser. The camaraderie of both bands resulted in a drumming jam session during soundcheck which led to one of Tarrus's band members joining Third World on stage later that night during the drum solo segment. The fans were delighted.

In the true spirit of giving, Third World was happy to learn that proceeds from the shows would benefit Mana Maoli ("MM"). MM is a non-profit organization that strives for community empowerment. One of the programs under the organization is the Maoli Music program, wherein musicians donate their time and talent to MM CDs, concerts, school visits and music mentorships. Richard Daley adds "To be able to support a good cause is something that we always try to be a part of. When we learned that proceeds from the concerts would benefit charity, we were enthused to say the least. It made our performance much more meaningful."

After their performances, Third World returned to Florida where they will perform at Reggae Jam alongside Inner Circle at the Adrienne Arsht Center on Friday, February 24, 2012. The concert will double as a tribute to Jacob Miller, the late Inner Circle singer who was killed in a 1980 car crash. As quoted in the Miami New Times, "The last person Jacob Miller sang with was Third World," notes Lewis. And the night before his death, Coore explains, Miller joined the band onstage for a performance inside a Jamaican penitentiary. The singer, whose hits with Inner Circle included "Tenement Yard" and "Tired Fi Lick Weed," showed up the following night to Third World's tenth anniversary concert. But he never made it inside. "He just came to the gate and said, 'I soon come back,' "Coore recalls. "And we never saw him again."
Bridgez, who currently has taken the viral media by storm with her catchy single like "No Any Man" was nominated for Best Female International Artist among artists like Tanya Stephens, Alaine, Tessane Chin and Etana just to name a few.

Talking with Bridgez, she expresses her happiness. "I feel very grateful and humble by the nomination of this award. It is definitely a motivation to see my music recognized outside of Jamaica. It definitely helps me push myself more as an artiste to become a household name worldwide. It is a stepping stone in my career, and I hope my fans will take the time to vote."

With that being said the artist keeps working hard, she kicked off the beginning 2012 with a bang. Her single "Cry" reached the International market and one of her latest singles "Good Good Good" getting highlights on both International and Jamaican radio stations as well.

The Alliance First Lady has also had the opportunity to be featured on many stations across the UK, Canada, and US with Interviews discussing her career, kicking off a great campaign in major territories. Look out as Bridgez will also be featured in an upcoming issue of Canada's Reggae Xclusive.
The singer kicked off his US dates on February 10 with a performance at the Plush nightclub in Jacksonville, Florida.

The lover’s rock singer also played to a sold out show in Tampa, Florida on February 11, where he was the lone performer, leaving promoter Supa D very pleased. According to the promoter, “DaVille’s performance was stellar and professional as usual.”

On February 12, DaVille then slipped across to the MR CC, Club Majestic in Orlando FL., where he performed alongside reggae queen Marcia Griffiths and others, thrilling audiences there.

Delivering only as he can, February 18 and 19 saw DaVille serenading fans at the Nuvo Lounge, Raleigh North Carolina and on Road Block Radio, Palladium, Newark New Jersey. The latter saw him sharing the spotlight with fellow reggae/dancehall artistes Ghost and Romain Virgo.

Fans can be sure to catch a glimpse of DaVille at his next stop in the US, when he will be live in action on February 25th at the Westchester Social Club in Hartford, Connecticut. DaVille alongside Turbulence will also feature on the Hot 93.7fm commercial radio station.

While the singer has a tentative date in New Orleans on April 13, which should round off his stint of performances in the US, the big focus will be on an upcoming tour of Europe in the next couple of months. Plans are still being put in place and dates still to be confirmed. However, the European tour is being organized for May 20 – June 17, so it will not be long before DaVille jets off to Europe to thrill fans there.

Nowhere is this more evident than in the UK where he has won so many loyal fans who have supported Stevie’s brand of positive and conscious reggae. These are the fans who have also nominated him in 2012 for a BRIA award (British Reggae Industry Award) in the category of international male artist.
This prestigious event first established in 1981, has pioneered the highlighting of British reggae talents in a gala event never seen before for this genre in the UK. Mr. Tony Williams a DJ for BBC Radio in London was the visionary responsible for the conceptualizing, and staging of this monumental awards ceremony, which had its inaugural launch at the Café Royal, later moving on to a much larger venue, the world renowned Royal Albert Hall in London.

During its 16 years run the BRIA has become synonymous with British reggae music at its highest level, resulting in greater acceptance of the music and sold out venues at each staging during its tenure.

In 2012 the BRIA is set to make a triumphant return to the UK for the first time since 1997, with this year promising to be bigger and better. The staging will be at London’s Indig02 on Saturday, October 13, 2012 and promises to be a night like none other.

When interviewed Stevie Face was elated about being nominated for such an outstanding and important award.

“I have so much love and respect for all my fans worldwide, and my UK fans have always shown me that special love like no other, they feel like family to me and I feel so honored always to have their love and support”

When asked what was next for Stevie Face he answered by saying:

“I am finishing up my next album which has been two years in the making and I promise my fans that it will not disappoint them. My producer the hit maker Paul “Computer Paul” Henton has been diligently working with me to ensure that this new album will live up to or exceed all expectations. I am also asking all my fans and supporters to go online and vote for me in this upcoming BRIA awards. http://www.britreggae.com/vote.php. Category “International Male Artist”

Internationally acclaimed Jamaican dancehall reggae outfit Voicemail recently completed work on its latest album Next Level which is to be released by the US-based Captivate Music. The album which is set for release later this year is led by the first single I Got Love which has now gone into rotation on Germany’s Big FM pop radio station.

Voicemail members Kevin Blair and Craig Jackson recently did the promotional rounds in New York City which was completed by a photo shoot and recording sessions. They also did a number of interviews to promote the upcoming project.

Early response to the I Got Love single has been positive. A popular blog compared the track to the style of international artiste Sean Kingston and described it as a summer smash. Voicemail received great feedback from underground blogs as well as from mass media for their latest release.

The Voicemail members are obviously excited about the addition of the track to an international pop outlet as Big FM.

“This is a great opportunity for us to build an audience in a major music market such as Germany. We’re significantly interested in a steady growth of our fan bases overseas, especially in Japan, Europe and parts of the United States”, commented Kevin.

Craig added “I’m glad that music lovers in Germany appreciate our sound and our image. As a real authentic Caribbean act, we want to show the uniqueness of our home country Jamaica to people around the globe.”

Voicemail is known for hits including Get on Up, Let’s Dance, Wacky Dip, Weddy Time, I Need You, Get the Money, Best Days of My Life and Gangster Rock.

The group has to date released four studio albums.
Soca Star Receives Critical Acclaim from MTV and The New Yorker.

Trinidadian singer/songwriter Darryl "Farmer Nappy" Henry brings his unique brand of soca to the masses with his new album, You Make Me...Surrender, available in stores and online today, February 21, 2012. The album is already receiving critical acclaim, including favorable reviews from The New Yorker and MTV, which gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

"It's good to see international media outlets such as MTV and The New Yorker embracing and supporting Caribbean music," reveals Farmer Nappy. "This means we are another step closer to spreading the richness of our culture and music to the worldwide massive. And it couldn't happen at a better time, when Trinidad is celebrating Carnival."

Blending calypso, kaiso, ragga, soca, reggae and dancehall tones, Farmer manages to capture the true essence of the Caribbean, taking this compilation beyond carnival circles.

"If you don't know your kaiso from your ragga, or your soca from your calypso, don't be concerned. Farmer Nappy hits them all, along with a bit of reggae and dancehall." - The New Yorker

"The veteran musician has put together an album of super-concentrated soca with a global pop sensibility and pan-Caribbean flavors." - MTV

Farmer Nappy cultivated a global fan base by touring extensively for over two decades and bringing the sounds of mas to the masses worldwide. He just performed over 30 shows during Carnival season in Trinidad. She headlined the event Strength of a Woman that was hosted by diva, Nicky Z. The show was all about women and they turned out in their numbers to support.

Etana performed twenty of her tracks to the thick, highly energized audience. Overwhelming responses came from the Virgin Islander’s for their favorites: People Talk, Dance, Blessing, I Am Not Afraid and Free. Etana introduced her new tracks, Wifey and I Am Strong which were both well received; other acts that performed included Mother Nile and Alaine.

This was Etana's first time performing as a solo act in this territory. She recalls her first trip in 2005. "Funny enough I clearly remembered the hotel we stayed in and that we had to take a small boat there; back then, I was a back ground vocalist for Richie Spice. I say, its funny as I don't usually remember all the details about some of the locations I've toured. You see so many places in such a short time. I truly love the Virgin Islands and was thrilled to be back".

Etana looked stunning on the Youth View Awards red carpet. She wore a strapless gown blocked in white and metallic blue, accentuated by an over the top pink bow. Her eye popping make up was done by, artiste to the stars, Dexter “3-D” Pottinger, who won the event’s fashion icon award. The songstress was nominated in the category, Best Cultural Artiste and also attended in the capacity of award presenter. She presented dancehall fast rising star, Popcaan with his award for favorite summer song.

Etana was among a selected few, for a special edition of the TV programme, OnStage. The theme was love and the strong one was armed with her catalogue. Watch as she performs her ballads, Happy Heart and Warrior Love with backing by Dean Fraser and the Black Soil band. Excitement rushes through the live studio audience as she connects with the jam-packed studio.

Bob Marley paved the way for today’s reggae musicians and Etana showed her appreciation by attending his birthday celebration. She was at Bob's former home on Hope road in Kingston where tributes were made to the music legend. She joined in the festivities, listened stories and shared memories of Bob and his music.

She mingled with Rita and Kymani Marley among other family members and friends who came to celebrate the life of the music icon. Rita released a flock of white doves, which was breath taking, said the singer. "It was a celebration indeed! I loved the drumming and chanting most of all. I also liked the fact that King Bob Marley never grows old and he continues to inspire and draw people from all over the world, even when he's out of flesh. They don't ever have to crown him King on Paper the world already knows he is".

Etana continued to explain that, she has been inspired as a musical performer in so many ways by Bob's amazing talent and makes every effort not to miss the annual celebration of his birth.
The California based deejay recently scored his first Top 10 hit with his single titled Fill My Cup. The song which was produced by his younger brother Wayne Brown is currently number 9 on the Jamaica Music Countdown Top 25 Reggae Singles Chart.
The artist, who is currently working on the completion of an album tentatively titled Praise Selassie I, said he is very happy with the success of Fill My Cup and is looking forward to greater things to come.

“I very pleased with what’s going for Fill My Cup; it is just the beginning of greater things to come. Right now I am working on my album and I am getting ready to drop two brand new singles for Ethiope records as well, these songs are Run To The Rock and Life Of Corruption, both of them are very good songs that will connect with the people in a very positive way,” said Dandexx.

Also on the cards for Dandexx are a number of upcoming performances throughout the USA.

“I have a number of shows coming up soon in California and several other parts of the US, my management team is currently in negotiation with several promoters regarding these events.”
His Spanish Love single from the album of the same name is still number 1 on New York’s Mature Radio.net Top 10 Reggae Charts after 15 weeks.

Meanwhile his other single titled I Wish just topped the Global Linkz Radio.com Top 10 Charts.“Things are really going great for me right now two of my songs are number one on two different internet stations abroad and I have several shows lined up both locally and overseas, so I can’t complain at all.”

The Ochi Rios based singer is currently promoting his new rhythm project called the Good Morning rhythm. The Good Morning rhythm was executively produced by Jimbolee and Cecil Richards and features songs from veteran reggae crooner Jimmy Riley, Perfect, Jimbolee and 2010 Popular Song Contest winner Karuso. Also featured on the rhythm are a number of upcoming acts such as G Mafia, Harmony, Keke I, Umar, Empress Apple and I Rolla.

Since its release a few weeks ago several of the songs on the Good morning rhythm have been receiving strong airplay play overseas, locally and in the clubs. Jimbolee said that he is very pleased with the response the rhythm has received so far and he plans to go all out with its promotion.

“I feel good about the response the rhythm is getting and I am going to go hard with the promotion on it. We have a lot of good tracks on the rhythm and I know it’s going to do very well both at home and overseas,” said Jimbolee.
The Good Morning rhythm is available on Itunes and all other leading internet music download sites.
Since the beginning of the year he has been busy working on several projects including a complete a remix of his 2010 debut album titled Arrogant Man.

“This year is going be the year that Dubkore really gets out there musically in a big way. I have been doing my music for a while now, the seeds have been sewn, now it’s time to reap the fruits and I can tell that the harvest is near. I am currently working on several new projects, one them is a complete remix of my album, we have been very busy working on it with veteran engineer Errol Brown at Tuff Gong Studio.”

According to Dubkore when the remix is completed the album will have a completely different sound. “After the remix the album is going to have a different sound, we want it to have an international appeal. It’s going to have that real authentic reggae sound that the real reggae fans all over the world love,” said Dubkore.

Dubkore also said that he has a number of live appearances lined up for the rest of the year.

“I have a number of shows lineup for this year, I really plan to take the message and the music to the people this year, so I will be performing all over the place this year.

The epic clash will be nothing less than spectacular with high caliber competitors like Tony Matterhorn, Fire Links, Bass Odyssey, Black Kat, Earth Ruler, Poison Dart and David Rodigan.

According to clash fans, one of World Clash's most surprising contenders is Fire Links, namely because he has not clashed in over three years and is new to the World Clash stage. Credited with being one of the modern day arena's most accomplished juggling/entertaining selectors, Fire Links certainly adds a strong element of diversity to the World Clash line up.

"I am always ready for a clash, and it's Irish and Chin's 15th anniversary, so I couldn't turn this down. But pon di real, once the criteria like the money is right, here I am," says the explosively charismatic Fire Links. Noting that it takes money to clash, "I can't just come and play anyting, me known fi my dubs dem and dem costly, so a promoter need fi understand and consider."

Fire Links, as his name suggests, delivers incendiary performances whether juggling or clashing. These "best of both worlds" skills could give the popular and controversial selector just the ammunition that he needs to succeed. When asked about his take on 45s being introduced to World Clash, Links responded "For some sounds it can be an advantage and for others a disadvantage, for example 45s may work in favor of Black Kat but not Bass Odyssey." The selector later pondered if after one round whether, "some diehard clash fans may get turned off because they want to hear mostly exclusive or original dubs."

Even though it's been several years since Fire Links has actively clashed, fans are curious to see what big guns Fire Links has in store. In response to the inquiries, with piercing delivery, Links stated "No comment! Listen, fans should just expect the usual Links' 'A' Game." When it's all said and done, what truly has diehard clash fans on the edges of their seats is the mere thought of watching one of the industry's most notorious rivalries unfold before their very eyes -- Mattehorn vs. Fire Links. These selectors have been at it for years, carrying out a rivalry that started from their days on King Addies and Bodyguard respectively.

"Fire Links is very much needed in the international arena and is an exciting part of this year's line-up," says World Clash promoter Garfield "Chin" Bourne of Irish and Chin. In closing, "It's no secret that Irish and Chin and Fire Links have been at odds for a very long time, however, in order to fulfill our vision and plan of Restoring Exciting Soundsystem Entertainment Together (R.E.S.E.T.), we had to display a high level of maturity, eliminating some of our petty beefs from the past."

Notably, Fire Links is one of the few selectors who honed his talent and craft the traditional way, by being second string to some of the industry's greatest veteran sound killers. In every aspect, Fire Links is the real deal. When this selector is billed for any event, enthusiasts and fans know that he will leave his mark. Similarly, Fire Links is respected for his prominent roles of promoter and producer. Fire Links got his start on the renowned Bodyguard sound system in 1994, later beginning his prosperous solo career in 2000.
The two are among a set of gospel acts scheduled to thrill fans at a concert entitled Ash Wednesday Praise, scheduled for February 22 in Kitson Town, St Catherine.

KG, who declares that Carlene Davis has been an inspiration to her, also noted that she welcomed the opportunity to get up close with fans in that section of Jamaica.

"Minister Carlene Davis' story is such a wonderful one; how she moved from secular to gospel with such grace and I am particularly impressed with how Sister Carlene handled the testing of her faith in God when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has always been one of my heroes and it is a joy to share stage with such a powerful woman of God," KG said emotionally.

She added that it would be her first time performing in Kitson Town and, as such, "it will definitely be a night to remember".

KG, whose star seems to be in the ascendancy, has been quite visible since the start of the year, doing radio, television and print interviews, and winning over fans as she prepares for the release of her debut album. According to her management, Butterfly Muzik Limited, the album is set to hit the stores by Easter and, as a result the singer has been in the studio working closely with producers to put on the all-important final touches.

"We are at the stage now where we feel confident about the quality of the product. Kereen has been working with a talented crew of producers, engineers and other creative persons and the result is just fantastic. We know that it has been directed by God from start to finish," KG's sister and manager, Claudia Gregory-Watson stated.

A 2008 finalist in the JCDC Gospel Song Contest, KG has been creating deep ripples with her Radikal Yawd single called Who Me You Mad, a song that boldly compares a personal and intimate relationship with God to the closeness of a man-woman relationship. It is the first single off her upcoming album and was produced by gospel artiste Prodigal Son. Among the other artistes on the gospel showcase are Goddy Goddy and Sister Pat.
The "By Invitation Only" event will be hosted by Actor/Singer LEON (The Five Heartbeats, Waiting to Exhale, Cool Runnings and Temptations) who is also on the cover of the current issue of the Magazine. The exclusive event which will be catered by Divine Eatery, will feature performances, meet and greet with LEON and music by DJ Karyzma. Sponsors for the launch include, Lascelles Limited, Jamaica Beverages, CVM TV, RETV, Linkz FM, Wallenford Coffee Company, RDS Studios, VicRae, Inc. and Triple 7 Entertainment.

The Music, Entertainment and Lifestyle magazine released its first issue in October 2011 with featured artists such as Third World Band, Delus, Keida, I-Octane, Timberlee, Natalie Storm, Denyque (cover of the January issue), Tiana, Gramps Morgan, Tessanne, Zagga, Recruit, Elly Ess, Tifa, Protoje, Ce'Cile, Shaggy, DJ's Karyzma, Chromatic, G-Money, Babey Drew and Project Runway Season 9 winner, Anya Ayoung-Chee.

Editor-in-Chief, Stacey Bethel, who is also the CEO for Triple 7 Entertainment LLC, remarks, "I am ecstatic about the launch of the magazine and my team is doing a stellar job in making sure that everything goes off without a hitch. It was only fitting to have the first launch in Jamaica since a large part of the features in the magazine are of Jamaican artists. It's really a celebration of our culture and the music. Music, particularly reggae music, is my life -it's what I know. So I am really happy with the direction of the Magazine thus far and the positive feedback that we have received."

In an effort to not exclude the public, there will be a pre-launch party hosted by LEON and DELUS at O'neil's Place located at 33 Hagley Park Road, Kingston on Saturday, March 3, 2012. Doors open at 10pm and patrons will be able to party with LEON, Delus and other artists. There will be a door charge of $1000.00 and music will be provided by DJ Karyzma and Chromatic.
"After producing 'Blow Your Mind' for her debut album Pink Friday, which received the Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album, I was pleasantly surprised they were using my new track for Nicki to premiere at the Grammy's," states an elated BlackOut.

"They informed me a month ago about the Grammy performance, so I hosted a Grammy-viewing party in Miami for a few close friends but they didn't know...everyone went wild when she performed 'Roman Holiday.' I am honored to be a producer on both of her albums and to play a part in her creative process and success."

Minaj's performance has raised brows worldwide and furor within the Catholic community, as she pulled from religious symbolisms to exploit the exorcism of her favorite alter ego Roman Zolanski, on whom the song is based. Her Hype Williams' directed Grammy performance saw her using a pope as a prop, wearing a nun's habit-like outfit, and culminated in spectacular fashion as she levitated above the stage, and over a stunned audience.

"The Grammy's chose 'Roman Holiday,'" revealed Minaj, calling in to Ryan Seacrest's morning radio show on Monday to discuss the shocking spectacle. "They heard 'Roman Holiday' and I could not play them another record after that." The single is from Minaj's sophomore studio effort, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, due to hit stores on April 2, 2012.

The production house BlackOut Movement is at the helm of more than 20 hit singles, including productions for Flo Rida, Jim Jones, Trina, Jah Rule, Jason Derulo and Aaron Carter, just to name a few, and is best known for the blockbuster "This Is Why I'm Hot" by Mims, back in 2007. It scored BlackOut Movement its first #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and secured BlackOut's place in pop music and in its formula for success.
Jamaican rapper, Dyce, along side roots reggae singer, Guptie have put their unique twist on what is a classic reggae hit. The two have injected a little hip-hop while maintaining the authentic sounds that made the song popular centuries ago.

Several Jamaican artists have already enjoyed success from the single, each doing the song in their own way with the hook always consistent. Dyce explains that it was Guptie who decided to do the track and he was asked to do the rap verses as the producer was looking for a different sound. The two got together in June of last year and laid down the vocals at Strika Lee Studio which is located in Duhaney Park, Kingston, Jamaica.

Though the men have individual careers (Dyce focusing mainly on hip-hop, and Guptie on reggae) the two have a very good working relationship and plans to collaborating on additional tracks in the future.
His latest single titled One Night on the hot Over Proof rhythm is currently blowing up the airwaves. His 25 track mix tape Adventerous to di World is also a big hit with dancehall fans in the New York Tri-state area.

“I am working really hard to make a name for myself in the music biz and I know it won’t be long before I get my break. I am making good music and the people love what I am doing, so I know it’s just a matter of time before it happens.”

The Rochester, New York based artist said that he has been doing a lot of work in the big apple and is now looking forward to take his career to new heights.

“I have been doing most of my work in the New York area and its going quite well, in the coming months I plan to build on this by taking my music to other states as well Jamaica. As a dancehall artist I have to buss a yard in order to really impact the dancehall scene worldwide and that’s my main goal right now,” said Adventerous.

Adventerous is scheduled to perform on a pre-valentine’s day event on the 10th of February at Ruby Hall in Rochester, New York. The event is billed as A Valentines Love Affair and will also feature reggae star Sanchez as the headlined act.

When asked if he was nervous about his upcoming assignment, he confidently said no.

“I am not nervous about my upcoming show, opening for Sanchez is a big deal of course but I have had a lot of experience, over the years I have done shows with a lot of big stars like Capleton, Freddie McGregor, Mavado, Ricky Blaze and Gappy Ranks, so I am more than ready for this show.”
