ILLENIUM’s latest isn’t a detour, it’s a calculated expansion. ‘Die Living’ with David Guetta and Dustin Lynch isn’t simply a genre exercise—it’s a statement. The track leverages ILLENIUM’s established future bass architecture, but grounds it with a distinctly country-tinged vocal performance from Lynch and the undeniable arena polish of Guetta. It debuted, appropriately, within the cavernous walls of the Sphere, a venue demanding scale and spectacle, and ‘Die Living’ delivers both in equal measure.

This isn’t the melodic dubstep of 2012, nor is it a retreat into the saccharine pop-EDM of the mid-decade. *Odyssey*, the album housing this single, is a fully realized project—a deliberate move toward maximalism. ILLENIUM isn’t chasing fleeting trends; he’s building a sonic world, integrating diverse vocalists like Ellie Goulding and Kid Cudi into a cohesive narrative. The production is dense, layered, and designed for the immersive experience of a venue like the Sphere, but maintains enough melodic clarity to translate beyond the spectacle. It’s a logical progression for an artist who consistently blurred lines between genres, and a clear signal that he’s aiming for a legacy beyond festival circuits.

The Sphere residency isn’t a peak, it’s a launchpad. ILLENIUM is no longer simply an electronic artist; he’s a creator of experiences, a curator of emotion, and a legitimate headliner operating on a scale few in this scene have achieved. He’s proven he can fill rooms, chart albums, and now, he’s demonstrating an ability to transcend genre boundaries without sacrificing artistic integrity. Expect the ripple effect of *Odyssey*—and the ambition behind it—to reshape the landscape of mainstream electronic music for years to come.

FISHER delivers exactly what you expect: a relentlessly energetic house track, this time with the unexpected, yet remarkably effective, addition of Tones And I. ‘Favour’ isn’t a subtle maneuver; it’s a full-throttle collaboration built for stadium-sized moments, arriving on CATCH & RELEASE primed for peak-time play.

This isn’t some delicate fusion of styles. FISHER’s signature percussive attack and driving bassline are fully intact, providing the bedrock for Tones And I’s distinctive vocal. The result is a crossover that avoids the pitfalls of watered-down compromise, instead amplifying the strengths of both artists. Following the momentum of ‘Rain’ and its BBC Radio 1 support, ‘Favour’ confidently occupies the space where mainstream accessibility meets genuine club currency – a territory increasingly vital for artists aiming to scale beyond the established festival circuit.

FISHER isn’t building a career, he’s establishing a dynasty. ‘Favour’ is another brick in that foundation, a statement of intent heading into a summer schedule that includes Ibiza, Red Rocks, and a London takeover. He understands the anatomy of a dancefloor, and he continues to exploit it with surgical precision. Expect this one to reverberate through every speaker system until the weather turns.

Charlotte de Witte is bringing her uncompromising vision to New York City, and the location is everything. A debut performance at Under the K Bridge Park, backed by the equally compelling Yousuke Yukimatsu, signals a deliberate move towards spaces that *earn* their atmosphere, not simply provide it. This isn’t a hotel rooftop or a polished warehouse—it’s a concrete embrace beneath a major artery of the city, and de Witte’s music demands that level of starkness.

The pairing is the key here. De Witte’s brand of relentless, hypnotic techno has become a defining force in the current landscape, a direct lineage from the Berghain sound scaled for arenas. Yukimatsu, however, operates in a different register—a willingness to deconstruct, to introduce elements of noise and experimentation, to flirt with the boundaries of what constitutes dance music. Expect a set that’s less about predictable build-and-release and more about a sustained, evolving tension; a controlled collapse of expectation. This isn’t a comfortable night for the casual listener, and that’s precisely the point.

Under the K Bridge has quickly become a proving ground for artists willing to meet the intensity of the space, and this booking firmly establishes its position as a vital component of the North American techno circuit. The summer season will be defined by spectacle, undoubtedly, but these are the nights that will be remembered—the ones that prioritize sonic integrity over easy thrills. Consider this a warning: prepare for a scorched-earth territory experience.

Berlin’s William Bleak has a new single out on Breathing Records, and it sounds exactly like what you’d expect from someone who’s spent years sharing stages with She Past Away and Clan of Xymox — which is to say, it sounds like controlled collapse.

“Ghost Waltz” was born out of a stretch of late nights with analog synthesizers, pushing the boundary between human and machine until neither one wins. The result is dense, disorienting, and deliberately overwhelming — a wall of layered noise that doesn’t so much build as accumulate. Bleak describes it as a “digital demolition of the senses,” and he’s not overselling it.

The track comes ahead of his debut LP on Breathing Records, which promises more of the same scorched-earth territory: industrial, EBM, gothic electronics sewn together with live instrumentation and whatever aggression’s left over. For anyone already deep in that underground, William Bleak is not a new name. For everyone else, “Ghost Waltz” is a fine place to get lost.

Wynn Nightlife didn’t just drop a residency announcement. They made a film.

Six months ago, the creative team at Wynn Nightlife sat down with a brief. The ask: announce the 2026 residency season. What they handed back was something else entirely.

Enter “The Year of Excess.” A 90-second cinematic short narrated by Rob Riggle, shot across Wynn and Encore Las Vegas, built around 14 of the most in-demand names in dance music. Calvin Harris. The Chainsmokers. Marshmello. Diplo. Kaskade. ODESZA. SOFI TUKKER. Mau P. Hugel and more. Each artist inhabiting a version of Las Vegas that feels like a fever dream: alpacas on the golf course, champagne-painted graffiti courtesy of an acclaimed artist, caviar at the bath, workouts scaling the Wynn rooftop at some ungodly hour. The whole thing closing on a line “Now go and be FABULOUS” — a nod to the city’s official tagline and a quiet tribute to XS Nightclub as it steps into its next chapter.

“Wynn Nightlife has always believed that great entertainment speaks for itself,” said Ryan Jones, SVP of Wynn Nightlife. “Whether it brings people through our doors or simply reminds them why Las Vegas is unlike anywhere else in the world, that’s a win for all of us.”

That framing matters. This isn’t a content play dressed up as art. It’s a genuine creative bet. That asks the question things away from asking “who’s playing?” to “Did you forget what Las Vegas was built for?”

The city answered.

Nic Vans has made his official music debut with “3AM (Nic Vans Remix),” a rework of California trio Łaszewo’s track, released through Carter Gregory’s Plot Twist Records. Łaszewo, a rising electronic pop act featuring two producers and a female vocalist, has been gaining traction with their upbeat melodic sound. Vans takes their foundation and injects it with the same high-energy approach that’s made his DJ sets essential.

After selling over 10,000 tickets worldwide through his live performances, Vans is channeling that momentum into production. Executive produced by Vans alongside Warden & Bloom, the remix showcases his own tastes as a DJ: pumping synths, heavy sub-bass, synthesized claps, reverbed vocals, and trap-pop hi-hats built for maximum impact. Whether it’s clubs, pregame playlists, or workout sessions, the production translates the crowd connection Vans has mastered behind the decks into his first official release.

Germany’s legendary Bootshaus club has launched its own label, and the debut release makes perfect sense for anyone who’s spent time in the Cologne venue. OGUZ and Jay Toledo’s “Euphoria” is uncompromising techno that captures exactly what the club has represented for years: relentless energy without apology.

The track earns its title ironically. “Euphoria” promises bliss but delivers something closer to controlled chaos, built on pounding kicks and sinister synth work that keeps tightening its grip. It’s claustrophobic in the best way, the kind of techno designed for packed rooms where the bass rattles your chest and everyone’s committed to the ride.

What’s notable here is how confidently Bootshaus Music arrives. Most new labels spend their first few releases testing the waters, figuring out their identity through trial and error. This one clearly knows exactly what it represents from day one, which makes sense given the decades of reputation behind the name.

For fans of the club, the label launch feels like a natural evolution rather than a cash grab. Bootshaus has spent years providing the space for this sound to thrive. Now they’re bottling it themselves. If “Euphoria” sets the standard, Cologne’s clubbing institution just became a proper techno tastemaker.

Miami Music Week is getting a dedicated conference experience this year with the launch of Miami Music Nexus, a full-day industry event taking place on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Midline in Wynwood, Miami at 2221 NW Miami Ct.

Produced by BLNK CNVS, the team behind two consecutive sold-out Chicago Music Nexus events, Miami Music Nexus is positioned as the premier electronic music industry conference of MMW. The concept is straightforward: a space for artists, managers, agents, and creators to actually learn and build during Music Week, rather than just party through it.

“MIDLINE is designed for the community, and hosting Miami Music Nexus during Music
Week shows how we can use our platform to elevate the industry. This is exactly the kind
of programming that makes sense for our space,” says Eric Fuller, Founder of BLNK
CNVS.

“Miami Music Week was always the natural next step for us—it’s the epicenter of dance
music in North America. We’re thrilled to partner with BLNK CNVS to bring our proven
format to Miami and create real impact for artists and industry professionals,” says Olivia
Mancuso, Co-Founder of Chicago Music Nexus.

───

Programming

The event runs from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM with three panel sessions and an extended networking block.

Ride or Die: Building Fans Who Actually Give a F*ck
A breakdown of real strategies for turning casual listeners into devoted supporters. The people who show up when you drop new music or announce a show. Panelists include Thatcher Sammet (Laylo) and Manny Lopez (House Hats), with more TBA.

Winning the Middle: The Smart Way to Build a Touring Career
Rather than chasing oversaturated markets, this panel makes the case for owning mid-tier cities first. Featuring Ben Yekuel (WME), Alan Gary, Zach Ruben (Breakaway), Mary Droppinz, and Paul Campbell.

Social Media Secrets for Creators
Back by popular demand from the Chicago edition — an all-new lineup of creators sharing what actually works for building real followings. Panelists: Paul Reed (BLNK CNVS / Friends of Friends), Nitti, and Sippy, with more TBA.

───

Schedule

12:00 PM — Doors Open & Registration

1:00 PM – 4:15 PM — Panel Programming & Light Bites

4:15 PM – 6:00 PM — Extended Networking Session

Tickets include catering throughout the day, cash bar access, and complimentary access to select BLNK CNVS events. VIP table service is available at VIP@Midlinemiami.com.

Molella, the Italian icon responsible for the era-defining “Freed From Desire,” is returning to his club-centric roots with a hard-hitting new collaboration alongside KG Man and Tommy Veanud. Out now via TV Recordings, “Come In A Dance” serves as a high-energy bridge between dance music’s legacy and its modern tech-house evolution.

The record originally began in a very different lane, built around loose Jamaican Patois vocals and a reggae-leaning rhythm. However, through studio collaboration, the trio stripped the track, and reimagined it as a relentless club tool. The final product features a massive low-end, tight percussion, and a hyped vocal flow specifically engineered for high-power sound systems. It’s a seamless blend of Molella’s seasoned instinct for room-filling energy and Veanud’s sharp, contemporary production.

“Come In A Dance” represents a powerful meeting of the minds, proving that decades of experience and new-school energy are a formidable combination. If this first link-up is any indication of the trio’s shared creative chemistry, the dance world will be watching closely to see what this powerhouse combination cooks up next.
Breakaway Music Festival has pulled back the curtain on its 2026 Dallas lineup, and the roster reads like a who’s-who of contemporary electronic music’s most commanding performers. Returning to Fair Park on April 10–11, the two-day festival will kick off Breakaway’s sprawling 14-city 2026 tour with a 23-act bill anchored by FISHER, Eli Brown, Sofi Tukker, and HUGEL—four names that collectively span the full breadth of house music’s current golden era.

FISHER needs little introduction at this point. The Australian DJ and producer has evolved from a charismatic newcomer to one of the most reliable headliners in the global dance music circuit. His brand of high-energy tech house, built on thick grooves and crowd-commanding stage presence, has made him a fixture at the world’s biggest festivals.

Eli Brown, the Bristol-born producer whose meteoric rise through the tech house and rave-influenced corners of the scene has been one of the most compelling stories in recent electronic music, joins him at the top of the lineup. His sets are known for their intensity and forward momentum, rarely relenting from the kind of relentless four-on-the-floor energy that has endeared him to purists and festival-goers alike.

Sofi Tukker, the Grammy-nominated duo of Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern, brings an entirely different energy to the headlining tier. Their music defies easy categorization, blending house rhythms with elements of indie pop, bossa nova, and multilingual lyricism to create something that feels both dancefloor-ready and distinctive.

HUGEL rounds out the headlining quartet with his sun-drenched, Latin-influenced house sound. The French-born, internationally acclaimed DJ has built a career on productions that fuse tropical rhythms, percussive grooves, and melodic hooks into irresistibly danceable packages. His ability to shift between sounds makes him an ideal festival performer, and his inclusion on the Dallas lineup adds a global dimension.

The supporting cast is where the Dallas edition truly shines. Disclosure, the UK duo whose influence on modern house and electronic pop is difficult to overstate, will bring their polished, song-driven approach to the festival. Having produced some of the most critically acclaimed electronic albums of the past decade, their live sets weave together sophisticated production with genuine pop craftsmanship. SG Lewis, another UK export whose disco-tinged, groove-heavy productions have earned him a devoted following, adds further depth to the melodic side of the bill.

Lilly Palmer, the German techno powerhouse, brings a harder-edged dimension that should resonate with techno lovers. Hedex, meanwhile, represents the drum and bass contingent, a genre that has experienced a remarkable surge in North American festival bookings over the past 18 months.

Mary Droppinz adds her unique blend of bass house and experimental club sounds, while LYNY brings a forward-thinking approach to bass music that has earned him recognition as one of the genre’s most promising rising talents. The duo of AMÉMÉ and Benjamin Lloyd contribute Afro-house and deep house sensibilities, respectively, adding warmth and groove to the lineup.

Breakaway’s continued commitment to showcasing regional talent is evident in the inclusion of Dallas-based artists P Plum and Zircaz, both of whom bring local flavor and community connection to the proceedings. Additional acts including Angrybaby, Broken Hill, Distant Matter, Fly, and Łaszewo ensure that the full 23-act roster covers a remarkable range of electronic subgenres and sonic approaches.

Fair Park, the historic Dallas venue that has hosted everything from the Texas State Fair to major concert events, provides a fitting home for the festival. Its expansive grounds allow for the multi-stage setup that Breakaway’s programming demands, and its central Dallas location makes it accessible for the city’s growing community of electronic music fans.

Gates open at 3 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday, with music running until 11 p.m. each night. Two-day GA, VIP, and Ultimate VIP passes are available through the official Breakaway website. The event is 18 and over, and CELSIUS returns as the presenting sponsor for the third consecutive year.

As the opening salvo in Breakaway’s ambitious 2026 tour—which will subsequently visit Tampa, Arizona, Atlanta, Ohio, Minnesota, Michigan, Massachusetts, Philadelphia, the Carolinas, Utah, Northern California, and Houston—the Dallas edition sets a high bar for what promises to be the festival brand’s most expansive season to date.
