My god, it's been toooooooooooooo long ! Yes I'm sure you'll agree. July? Are you f****ing kidding me? What the hell was I thinking?
Well a lot of crap happened to me the second half of 2006 and I'm still trying to deal with it today. So hopefully I'll be getting back in to the mix and updating on a more frequent basis. I've updated AT and plan on doing TBP soon enough.
I'm looking for a job and scraping by so far with my ebay auctions.

Yep as promised. New chapter, more intrigue. This could go many different ways. Also the new character Menhdi, will be adding a profile for her also and you'll be able to read up on this important character. Well she'll be important in regards to Hev. Yay!

Long in the making

I know I know, it's been a hell of a long time since I updated my comics. I know many people have been checking back very very often to see if there were new updates. I am currently unemployed and looking for a job as well as sources of income such as translations, making clothes to sell on ebay and tutoring. I am also looking for a studio to teach my bellydance classes in.
On top of all this I am also taking two online classes that are taking up a hell of a lot of my time. I'm more than half way through those but still it's a lot of work. Tomorrow I'm beginning ballroom dance training in order to become an instructor and also have my Teaching License Exam this saturday.
I'm going to be putting at least two pages up some time this week. Before friday.
Please remember that these comics are free and I don't make money off them (I have never received a donation to help with paper and bandwidth or had anyone buy comic merch from my store so yeah this is all straight out of pocket but I'm not complaining just adding a quick note if anyone was complaining ;) ) and so other things take priority.
Will definitely be adding this week since I recognise how long it has been since an update and it even pisses me off that I left it this long.

I'm really sorry this is such a late blog update, but i've been unexpectedly busy. I lost my job last week but managed to get myself a translation assignment t do that I have to finish before tomorrow afternoon since i'm going out of town for the weekend. So the update i was planning to do is pushed to next week, sorry guys but it only means you'll havem ore pages to read in one shot :).
I also never got round to posting that Lys' shirt/tunic/dress is currently on ebay and the auction ends tonight (friday) so check it out!

Since I'm busy now making clothes and putting them up for sale on ebay, see the link in previous update, I have decided that one of my characters' apparel is going to be available, live for you to buy and wear. Yes I'm going to draw one of my characters with one of the shirts I'm going to make on them! I will of course post the link and maybe a temporary banner on the new pages so that it catches your eye. It will be a low starting bid (enough to cover my materials) and the rest will be up to you. This will be a unique, one of a kind piece of clothing associated with the comic. I'll also throw in a print of the character wearing the shirt (I've decided it'll be a shirt and not a skirt or pants, it will fit a wide range of body types) signed by me, the author naturally.
I also have been adding people who read my comic to my friends list on yahoo and aim. If you would like to add me just use sesiru_d as the id for yahoo and sprtseraphim for aim. If I'm not busy I'll of course say hi.

Monday update

Okay well looks like this weekend is a no show for updates BUt I will be definitely updating on Monday night. I have the panels drawn out, I just need to scan them and put the gray in them which takes a hell of a lot longer than drawing them. But you will get 3 pages and the end of the chapter which will make you sit on the edge of your seat and want more, MORE, MORE!
Kidding, but yeah it will end a chapter on a very interesting note, more questions than answers.
I'm approaching the 50 page mark and am very excited. Can't wait to get to 100, which will happen before the end of the year. I may have a contest or something for the 100th page. Who knows.

It's been a hell of a long time but I've finally gotten round to updating AT. Yes yes 2 new pages and hopefully 2 or 3 more before this weekend. So please enjoy, it's been a while and know some of you have been checking back almost every day. So here it is!
I do have a fanart gallery for my comics but it is empty for now.

This sucks truly. I have not been able to update at all for over a month and I'm really sorry about this. I am currently working over 40 hours a week and have little time outside of that and classes to update the comics.

HOWEVER

I will try my hardest to get back to the drawing boards since even I miss doing these comics. I am going to lay low on TBP for the simple reason that I'd rather focus on my favourite comic that is AT right now as there's no way I can do both at this time. I will update TBP but more than likely on a sporadic basis.
I'm going to post new pages for AT tomorrow night so keep your eyes peeled!!! I have them drawn i just need to get them on my damn computer!Gah!
I'm stressed and frustrated right now, I need to seriously start managing my time better, especially to continue these comics.

Have finally gotten round to doing my comic again. This last month has been hectic to say the least and i have been very busy moving, with the holidays, travelling, and working.
But I finally got one page up for AT, I will post the other two that I've done tomorrow.
I'm seriously considering alternating updates for my comics, one week AT the other TBP and so on, and i'd of course post more than one or two pages in that case. Any takers? I might do that since my life is simpler but busier if that makes sense and I want to give bigger chunks of story so it is easier to follow.

Colour page and 30th

Happy to announce that I'm pretty much done with school until january 9th, so lots of time to work on crafts and comics.
I got some new prisma colour markers with blender and thought I'd experiment with them, so you will see that one of the AT panels is in colour. Hev's hair is green cause he can have green hair (being a punk rocker and all), and Candy has purple hair because she leads the alternative lifestyle. She could be your goth lolita, will have to see exactly what I want to do with her. But i wasn't trying to pull the anime stunt on you. I like colour, and different coloured hair, heck I had purple hair once, even black and blue. Hev seems to be a dick, but is he really?

Anyway milestone for TBP, have reached page 30, yay! Learn a little bit more about the prophecy, Laveh and what must be done. No word of Terentia yet. Wait and see.

You will also notice a few changes in the page layout. I redid the drop down menu, put banners on all my pages, and added a Fanart section. I have no fanart yet *hint hint* but hopefully it will be filled soon. I have also made buttons and banners for my comics available. You can find these right under the dancing moon lady, or in the drop down menu I think.

Other than that, my tattoo is peeling and itching like crazy. Agh. Christmas is only 21 days away, and I'm starting to panic about gifts for my brothers and father. It's so easy to buy for women, so difficult for men, especially those who don't want anything.

Updates finally.

I'm actually supposed to be sleeping right now, but thought it would be best to get my pages up for this week since last week was a miss.
So here we go.
AT has 2 new pages plus a new chapter cover!!! Yes chapter 4 ladies and gentlemen, and I decided to take on the side of Hev's character for a little bit. See what his life is like, what he feels, and how he thinks. And yes there's some ass. His to be precise. He's not a prude lets say.

TBP also has 2 pages. You'll probably notice the drawing quality isn't that great since I prefer by far to do AT and get burnt out by the time I get to TBP. But still try and keep it up. I haven't doneany t-shirts for that comic yet, haven't gotten round to the illustrations.

I got my tattoo finished yesterday and lets say I'm slightly impaired. It's funny, pain is funny sometimes when it is you experiencing it and not someone else. Might as well laugh about it than whine. But it's very pretty and the pain well worth it.

I know some of you are expecting to see some pages and the like but I won't be able to update my comic this week, hopefully I will thanksgiving weekend, but I have a research paper due on Dec 1st and it's basically my final. I only get two grades for this class, and this one would be my second so I can't screw up.

Milestone for AT some skin for TBP

Okay so we have 3 pages this week. 2 for AT and 1 for TBP, but chockablock of good stuff.
Hey there is a reason why I list these comics on comic lists as mature and not simply fantasy and pseudo real-life.
Also milestone!!!! I've reached the 30th page for AT! Woohoo!!! party time. That's a lot of pages when you think about it. I'll probably have a party at 100, yes not unfeasable and not totally unreachable. I want to keep these babies going as long as I can, oh yeah. I want you to love, hate the characters, cry and laugh with them, (insert crappy sappy elevator music in the background), feel their pain and feel their happiness. Not really but at least like the comic. Anyway, I know some people get into stories and comics, I'm guilty of that, where you almost feel like crying when something really really sad or that you don't want to happen happens. I've finished comics and felt empty before now, because the ending could have been so much better if character X had said what he had on his mind instead of abandoning everything. Yeah, I live the world of creativity and imagination, nice place to escape to. But comics also teach us something, if they were not only meant for a laugh, the characters's actions are often identifiable to ours, we've been in those situations, made those mistakes, we've hurt and been hurt.

Okay I'll stop. Okay so TBP has a "sex" scene, really you won't see breasts or privates but you'll see the naked, and of course the way it's drawn and setup pretty much lets you know what's going on (you've got to be simple not to realise what they are doing). Anyway, Terentia reveals a little more about herself, her thoughts, her beliefs which oh so happen to coincide with Eamon and Vallah's place of origin, and oh yeah you know it, her budding or should I say blossoming?Feelings. Yes Lord Ram has a weird do, doesn't say much and doesn't seem all that bad yet, but you know little enough about him to know that he's the enemy and well it makes the whole scene uncomfortable since you may wonder, is he evil, is he going to hurt or kill her, does he know what's going on?
Ah well we'll see next time. And what about Eamon, what does he really think? Does Laveh manage to talk with the king and get away?

So we have 2 pages for each comic, a total of 4. I was going to put up 8 but ran out of steam. I don't mind the whole drawing of the panels and all, it's the painting that drives me nuts, and now that I've started doing it I can't really stop. You may notice a little more depth to the characters in TBP.

Anyway, we're approaching page 30 for AT so that's pretty exciting I guess. But we're also approaching christmas :) My favourite time of the year. not because of the gifts, but because it's my favourite season, I love snow, winter, and miss the cold. Living in Florida makes you want these even more. If you live up north, just send some snow our way will you? It'd be nice but very unlikely.

I've added some more pinup designs in my store so check it out. I'm more than half way through the calendar I want to make for 2006. Also was wondering about making a calendar for AT and maybe even TBP. If this is something that would interest you just reply to this blog and I'll see what I can do. Also I know that most of my shirts in my store are white or ash, let me know if you'd rather have dark colours like black, red, blue etc... and I'll be able to provide them, just on a different location.

Okay some of you may think this is late as I say I am going to update on Sundays but it's still sunday here in my book until I wake up tomorrow on monday morning.
Anyway both comics have a new page. I would have put 2 pages for each up this weekend but I was pooped after going to the NIN concert here in Jax. We were there for 6 hours!!! If you have a chance I strongly recommend you go and see NIN live. They are amazing.
Other than that, my fiance has a new car. The scion xB. I think they look like a box on wheels but they have a load of space.

Okay have completely updated for this weekend. TBP has two pages for you to view on top of those that I posted yesterday for AT. I've already drawn next week's pages, just have to clean them up and colour them for sunday. It's quite a bit of work.
Of course I get my first tattoo and the next day I get sick from the stress. So have a damn cold with swollen glands in my neck (it's not my tattoo, it's not infected). But I'm very excited and can't wait to get it coloured in once it has healed. This is the beginning of a long path to self-adoration and art.

Updated Aeternus Tripudio so you have 2 pages to read on that. I will be updating The Blossom Prophecy tomorrow(sunday) so wait around for that if you like that comic. Also have revamped the buttons for AT and Dancing Moon. You'll notice a "store" button. This goes to a page where you have a choice of shopping for AT merch or other graphic art of mine. Why do you ask? I simply don't have time. I'm making a costume in which I will be performing this saturday night, yes this saturday but have to have it finished by tonight for a dressed rehearsal. So my weekend was shot with rehearsals and I have had no time to do anything else, not even my readings for my class.
This truly sucks since I probably won't be able to update until next weekend or even monday of next week (I'm going nuts). It just so happens that that Middle Eastern dance festival falls right in the middle of the busiest time of the semester but at least after this weekend it won't be a problem since I probably won't perform again until next year.
I have had a little bit of time to tweak the site. You'll notice the buttons have changed, well at least for the hub and AT, I'll get round to replacing all the buttons to TBP soon too. You'll also notice the Hub banner above the comic pages so that you can return home. These are little jpg images and not proper buttons so I've solved the problem IE users were having in not being able to use the buttons (IE tends to suck big time and I'm still surprised Mozilla worked the buttons fine but IE didn't, usually it's the other way around). So hopefullly that'll make navigation a little easier.
Also notice the shop button, yes shop as in store where you can get AT shirts and accessories. You can also get some other miscellaneous shirts that I made when I was bored, underwear and hoodies available too by clicking the CLDArts banner. I'm trying to make my site as easily navigable as possible. So that is why I encourage you to send me feedback, either by e-mail or by posting it to my shoutbox on the bottom right.

Sorry about the lack of update but this show has taken up all my time, especially considering we only had a month to put it together!

Update TBP and AT

I have updated both comics. TBP is now at page 19-20 and AT at page 22. Woohoo!
Anyway technically it is sunday for me, weekend isn't over until I go to bed ;).
I made a gif animated banner for AT so if you are interested in that or putting it on your website let me know. It's not button size, it's 468 by 60.
Also for those who use I.E. the buttons at the top will NOT work, for some odd reason ie doesn't recognise them but if you hover your mouse over them you can see the web addy they are linked to. Otherwise you can click their names in the explanation underneath the buttons.
I also am going to make a banner to my store for AT fan memorabilia.

Concerning stories for this week. Yeah I know TBP is kinda slow, but it'll pick up soon, gotta work up to it otherwise it won't make sense. Otherwise finally I get Hev in the picture in AT. I know he's one of the main characters and it may seem strange that he only appears twice before now. But remember that it is Lys who is the main focus of the story . He's definitely going to get more involved.

TBP No update

Well not until this weekend. Sorry sorry just when monday rolls around I realise that I have way too much to do, stuff i want and don't want to do, you know what it's like. Anyway updates for TBP will have to wait until friday. I need to seriously manage my time better.
Another piece of news, my first niece (I'm an aunt yay!) was born the same day exactly 3 months before my b-day. Which makes her a virgo born on the cusp with libra, my brother and sister in law are going to have a handfull or a giant carefree nerd.
So hmm just thought I'd post it. I also have added some designs to my online stores so think about that christmas shopping. There is a sale on tops right so you can save some money on shipping at least. You can find the links in my bio I think.
