Today, Apple shocked the world by revealing a developer preview of Mac OS X Mountain Lion unannounced! It looks like they are once again trying to integrate many of the iOS features into the OS X operating system, which I find awesome! So recently, I decided to upgrade the memory, or RAM, of my 2008 Macbook Unibody, as it just turned three years old and I felt like it needed a speed boost. Then I realized, hey, if I wanted to do this, why wouldn't everyone who watches my videos want to as well? So below, you will see that I made on guide on how to upgrade the ram in a macbook pro, macbook, mac mini, etc. (essentially any mac that you have access to the internals of). This specific video is on choosing the right ram for you, and I will be uploading the next video (which will be on installing the specific ram into your mac) in a few days. Vlingo: The Best Alternative to Siri for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch! (Updated)

Ever since the iPhone 4S has been released, many people have been wondering how to get Siri functionality on their older iOS devices, such as the iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4, and iPad (essentially every iOS device except the 4S). Well, after a while of searching, I have found, in my opinion, the best alternative to Siri for all of these older iOS devices, and the best part about it is that it does not require a jailbreak, is completely legal, and is free in the app store! The app is called Vlingo, and below, you will find my video review of the app. Check it out! Yes, granted it does not include all of the features of Siri, but it is great for what it is. How to Jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 (Untethered) (iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch 4, 3G, iPad 1) (Redsnow)

This is a guide on how to jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 untethered on iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch 4, 3G, and iPad 1 using redsnow. This does not work on iPhone 4S or iPad 2, but an updated version will be released soon and I will update this guide on my channel and this site when it is, so stay tuned!

Notes:
-This works on all devices, except iPhone 4S and iPad 2 (guide for those will be up soon, so stay tuned).
-This is untethered. This means once you jailbreak, you don't need a computer to turn your device back on if you turn it off.
-Backup to iTunes and Restore/Update to iOS 5.0.1 before attempting this.
-If you are jailbroken on a tethered jailbreak, just run this over it to make it untethered.
-I am not responsible for any damage you do to your device. (It should be fine, this is just a disclaimer).
-Links to Download Redsnow are below for both windows and mac.
-If you have trouble getting your device into DFU mode, just google how to do it. It's not too hard.

This year, the rumors are swirling around the third generation of the device, expected to be released sometime in early 2012. Many new features have been rumored as being included with the device, but are these features all true or are they merely rumors? Being a tech lover, I always get pumped when I hear what electronic gifts are on the market and what everyone is hoping to get or give as a gift, especially when the gifts are gadgets. So with that, I ask, what is everyone hoping to get for Christmas (or give for Christmas)? There are some great gifts out there, such as iPods, MP3 Players, Tablets (just upcoming), Smartphones, Laptops, Video Games, TV's etc. What do you want? Leave a comment below and let me know! I myself am probably going to save some money over Christmas so that I can buy one of the updated MacBooks next year or possibly the new iPad next year, so we will see! iPhone 4S Untethered Jailbreak Release Confirmed by Saurik and Pod2g!

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of waiting, we have a set window for the iPhone 4S Untethered Jailbreak Release Date! Just this week, Saurik and Pod2g, the creator's of the jailbreak app "Cydia" and an iPhone programmer, respectively, worked together to overcome the last bug in the jailbreak which had halted their process earlier. This essentially means the jailbreak is almost ready for the general public and will be released sometime around Christmas or the New Year! How to Install Siri Dictation on iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G, iPad (Siri0us)

Ever since the introduction of the iPhone 4S, every iDevice user has been longing for the goodness of Siri, the extremely hyped-up voice recognition system that Apple has touted as being revolutionary. However, Apple has made it extremely clear that the older iDevice below the 4S will most certainly not be getting the feature. Recently, however, the jailbreak community has discovered a way to install Siri Dictation on the older iDevices, such as the iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4, and iPad (ironically not that old). Check out my video below where I teach you how to install it! It's pretty sweet, and I will definitely use this. Hopefully Apple will implement sometime in the near future. RIP Steve Jobs: Predicting The Future of Apple

Many people have been asking me questions about what I believe will happen to Apple over the next coming years now that Steve Jobs has passed away. For me, I think that the company will still remain strong, but I am unsure how well they will be able to formulate new ideas and market them as Steve was truly such an inspirational man who was truly the "genius behind Apple". I truly hope that Apple will remain strong to help carry on Steve's Legacy, and I hope you feel the same. In the video below, I let you know more of my thoughts on this.
