Surprise gift from Hubby: Flowers on Mom's Day

I never thought hubby would give his best effort just to surprise me at the office by giving me a bouquet of flowers!!! Though, it was a liitle bit late for Mom's day, still it was such a great gift a wife could ever receive. I was not expecting anything from him, and am beginning to hate him for not remembering Mom's Day and got home really late that day! I know that he was just too busy with his work, given that he was working in a restaurant and Mom's Day would be a very busy and hectic day for them.

A Letter to my Husband, Dan

How do I begin to say thank you for twelve wonderful years of marriage? Sometimes it feels as though we are still kids, just getting to know each other and loving every minute of it. Other times I think we are already a seasoned "old" couple who have been through so much together, know each other through and through, and still anticipate the years to come.

It hasn't always been smooth sailing since we said "I do." We had no way of knowing what was ahead, but I believed you that day when we held hands and start our lives together. Our lives was not that easy and happy though. Sometimes we ran out of budget, but am so thankful that we never fight over money matters. You always took life with a positive note and that made me realize that life is great.

Due to our busy schedules, oftentimes we forgot to have our intimate moments. But you made me accept the fact, that love is not all about romance. It's more of understanding each other and accepting our own weaknesses. I know we are not a perfect couple. We always argue even on petty things. Sometimes we don't even talk for days. But i know that no matter what, we will always be there for each other.

How i wish i could spend a whole day with you, just with you. Had our own vacation away from the city where we could talk anything and everything just like the old times. To be crazy and childish just like our college days. To say what we feel, to dream our dreams together.

Thank you for not giving up on me. Thank you for showing me what a good father you are to our two naughty angels, Dana & Vince. For loving them and giving them a good life they truly deserved. I know we had a long way to go and am ready for a whole new adventure with you. You always make me believed that " we make a good team ".

We have twelve great, memorable years behind us now and a whole lifetime ahead. Thank you for all the love!

My Worst Nightmare Is Over..

I never thought that hubby and I would have dreamt the worst nightmare of our lives...That we would have our worst fight ever after 11 blissful marital years...I never thought that i would hurt him that much...I never thought that i was so weak inspite of his unending love for me...

But with God's help, i still believe that we were really destined to be together no matter what..that we will always be together, loving and caring for each other..that we are ready to grow old together...

We both know that most of the time we had our indifferences..we always struggle to meet each other's needs..we were both busy with our work and finding hard time to meet with our schedules...but this time, we were ready to adjust...we were ready to meet halfway..we were ready not to be selfish...we were so ready because we have grown to be a matured individual...as a partner and best friends for life...

Lessons learned...i have proven that love can save everything ...i have experienced true love and was so lucky that i have Dan as my husband and other half..that i owe him everything...that he was the best gift God have given me..a priceless gift that i will always treasure and take care of..i may not be a perfect wife or even a perfect mom...but i would do anything and ready to sacrifice everything for my family..to fix everything and to love them unconditionally..

One of my birthday wishlists had already come true! A notebook from hubby! Yehey! it's super handy and i just love love it!!! Hubby really knew am so dying to have one! Thank you honey for being so generous and loving!!! i love you more!!!

P.S. by the way, the mobile phone just above my laptop was a gift from my Dad! thanks papa boy! :)

It's been ages since i last check & update my two blogs! So busy as a bee after i got back to work after suffering 5days with my sore eyes. Needed lots of things to do..numerous reports to submit...phonecalls from subcontractors every now and then & so much more!!That's what you call a corporate slavery! (A good term, isn't it??!) What a week!! So since today is a Saturday, i made it a point to update my two blogs even if i needed to stay up late tonight..hahaha... I missed all my blog memes for the week..I hope i could still submit my entries today! Please..please...please...

It brings back so many good and bad memories during our college days! I was so glad that after 7yrs, we got the chance to return to PLM (Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila). We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary then, so we just decided to return and reminisce those memories we shared together.

After several attempts to join CC every Wednesday, finally today was a success! This is my first time here and i admit i am so excited!
Upon seeing the theme for the week, i may say, all couples had their own hard days! Our marriage life was not perfect, and secondly we were very young when we got married. I may say, we had our hardest days of our marriage when we live on our own after college. That's when we realize that every peso earned really counts. That life after all was not that easy to dealt with. But thank God, we have survived those dark moments together, and surpassed each trial encountered. We realized that our love for each other made us stronger than ever. That we have each other every single day. No matter what life has to offer as long as we have each other.
