Life Lesson Journey - Malaysia's Street

On Monday , I had to do something in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia...
So I've decided to take LRT (Public Monorail)...
Normal Routine, Park my car at Sri Petaling/Bukit Jalil and Just travel by LRT....

As i pass through Kuala Lumpur...I've seen so much development going on...
Tall new office buildings, Luxury Malls and Apartments...
It's Great to see all that...
But still as I passed by Jalan TAR and Masjid Jamek...
I still see people begging for Money by the streets...
Majority of them are elderly people...
Its Kinda sadden that this sort of problem , We as society haven't found a solution for them..

Clearly , My project with MYME last time didn't help much...
We only feed them one meal...Our method was naive...
We should've "Teach them how to Fish, Instead of Giving them Fish"..
When i come back, I will have better plans to help these people...
Gather the right people, Right organisation and right path to help them....

Well the main story is actually when I was on my way home...
On my row, There was an old men....Lost his way to find Hospital Kuala Lumpur(HKL) when he is actually heading the opposite direction...Out of pity and i have time to kill, I decided to take him to the right station to drop off...It was a long journey and we have to switch lines...

On the way there, he shared his stories about his only son...He is Married to a beautiful women with 3 kids and living in big house plus driving big cars...It kills me inside to see this old man proudly talking about his son while he is left to walk to HKL with no help from his son...He said he called his son but he kept saying that he is busy with work and no time to send him to hospital for Annual medical check up...So that is why he decided to go on his own...

Gosh my intial plan was to drop him off at the right station, After hearing everything...I decided to accompany him all the way to HKL....Upon our arrival, a nurse greeted us....I told her the whole situation and she just took everything over...She made me a promise that she will ensure that his son will pick his father back home...=) Great Sense of relieve after hearing those lines for the nurse..Thank you and God bless you...It was a bad day for me initially...But in the end...God have shown me a valuable lesson in Life...

To Care for those whom cared for me when i was weak and in need...
To care for those whom raised me and teach me what is right and wrong...Z
They are Parents... :)

It was an eye opener for me...I Promise next time I would try my best to be there for you both....
That is my commitment and Duty as their Guardian in the future...

I was given a great opportunity to experiences the Legendary "Sales Meeting" by One of Mercedes Benz's Most successful Team in Australia.....

Had great mentors like Mr Ray Payne, Mr Peter Kay , Miss Nina and Mr Anthony...
They really thought me alot about the way they run the Auto-mobile business..
It was great seeing everything done with your own eyes rather than just plain theories...

This is how their workshop looks like....
Gosh it was clean and very organize...

I was impressed by the whole setting...

Look at the showroom...It's beautiful...=)

SLK 350...I have my eyes on you....For My Future wife...
I can imagine how cute she will look having this car...haha

=) So far everything been good...I love the working environment created blend with Australian Culture...
I believes i can bring this positive cultures into Malaysian Companies....

I had a great time with LJ Hooker St Peters/Commercial...

It was definitely one of the most valuable experiences I ever had in term of working experiences...

It was fresh , adventurous, random and fun with my mentors...

I had 3 incredible mentors; Andrew, Carlo and Kris...

Very hard-working people whom really strive for success...

Natalie was very organise and efficient planning out our daily outings...

She is a sweet person as well...

The Director whom I only able to observe was Mario Bonomi...

Fantastic character with charismatic leadership...

He knows when to have fun and when it is time to get serious...

A very well-rounded leader which I have learn alot from him....

No wonder LJ Hooker St Peters/Commercial countless awards...

I show you the most prestigious one...Tadaa~

It was great knowing that you are learning from the best....
I learn so much about property inspection, site visits, property management, appraisal and Lease Statements..

Cultural Differences & how everyone should take it...

Being in Australia for almost a year have taught me alot...
I met friends from America , Latin America , Africa , Asia , Europe and Definately alot of Aussie friends...
Australia definately have a diversified culture especially in Adelaide...
Because we are known as Education City of Learning....
And City of Festival in the world...
Our ecenomy here is mostly based on Education...
Apart from Tourism and Festival City...

We had crazy adventures like Sea Diving , Hiking , Ice Skating & get lost along the way when we randomly travel around Adelaide.....
Trying Crabbing & Fishing soon after my finals~

I learn alot about other cultures through my friends here...
Like one of my friends, Anastalicia from Russia...
When i met here for the 1st time, as usual i smile as Malaysian Culture..Smiling shows your friendliness and being open to meet new people....She handle our 1st meeting very well..

After sometime hanging out with her, she told me that in Russia...
When you meet someone for the 1st time...You should not smile and show friendly faces as that indicates you dont take them seriously....Wow definately different from Malaysian or some other culture...

One of my friends, Saidil from Syria said smiling and hugging each other in Saudi Arabia, the normal way of greeting new people...Just that the man will hug a man , women will hug a nother women...Not cross gender hug...which follows the religious background....Moahomud From Nigeria explains his culture way of meeting new people by Hand gestures...Wicked signs...

I havent study the validity of these culturse...

As i cant confirm with you whether it is a cultural thing or somethingthat they pick up from day to day life...

But i can assure you something...

That everyone is different...

The differences between us all what makes us great...
I can't imagine living in a world with unified culture...
It would definately be boring and predictable...

As human being our job is simple...
Be empathic and have that willingness to learn and accept other culture's just the way it is...

Take cultural differences as an advantage , not a form of defective...
But with 1 condition....
Manage it well with Empathic Behaviours...

That way we can live in a better world...

Eating The Right Food According to your way of life....

A number of my friends recently ask why i can't eat pork....

There are number of reasons why Muslim don't eat pork...

I read a very good post by another blogger named Daniel Tay....

He said this within his post..

'Muslims are appalled at the sight of Christians freely eating pork. They are repulsed by the sight of a pig just as much as the early children of Israel were under the Mosaic Law, which continues to affect the lives of million of Jewish people still today.

The pig was clearly forbidden in the Old Testament:

“And the pig, though it has a split hoof completely divided, does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you. You must not eat their meat or touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you.”
- Leviticus 11:7-8

A similar prohibition is also found in the Holy Qur’an:

“He hath only forbidden you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that on which any other name hath been invoked besides that of God.”
- Surat-ul Baqara (2):173

Since the flesh of swine is strongly forbidden in Islam, Muslims regard the eating of pork as an extremely unholy act – an abomination before God. For this reason, they consider it an outrageous contradiction for people, who claim to be followers of the holy prophet Jesus, to eat pork "

As a muslim, if i drink or accidentally drink wine..

I cannot perform any prayers for 40 days as a sign of purification...

In my view,Life without Prayers is like living life without a purpose...

In Life people tend to eat or drink what ever you think is nice regardless of religious practices...

I suggest everyone open their own religion book and read what you should and should not eat...

Regardless you are a Muslim, Christian , Buddhist, Hindu ,Jew or any religion...

Eeveryone have their own path to salvation...

Is either you follow your's or stray blindly by your lust for satisfaction of the food which will bring harm not only you but people around you as well...

Wearing make up & Dress Sexily does not atttract Men for long term...

It is a mindset that women required to be sexy to attract men...
I met beautiful people without make up...
Just by being herself....It attracts Men just enough...

haha....Perception nowadays is like that...

It's nice...It would be nice to have that...

But not only love from your special someone can fuel happiness....
Happiness can be fueled differently for different people...

Some love from family and friends is enouh...

Some by imagine and health....

When i came to Adelaide,Australia...
I expected a certain higher mentality...
High empathic senses & Sensetive about others...

Clearly i have learned that it depends on people...
Not places that shaped someone's mentality...
Come to think about it...
I met people in KL with higher empahtic values then Malaysian here..
I am not saying i am that good...I myself as a human make mistakes...
It is more of a personal experiences that shaped an individual..
To be more empathic, To be more aware about others and To be more knowledgeable...

After few days spending with international students in Campus..
I reliased a major differences between them and others...

They are more open, empathic and willing to exchange views and thought...
I was with couple of Aussies,Arab, French,Indian and one from Denmark...
Lovely group we created...

Definately different, Some of them tried so their best to speak fluent English..
I ,myself not a good English speaker but atleast i can see their effort to encourage a common speaking language within the group...

One of the topic that strikes me was the language dicussion...
I asked Rouden..
'Hey man, Does Dane People strict with their Language usage back in Denmark"
"Dan..English is the way to go when you communicating with people whom x speak our language...It is consider to be very rude if you speak a foreign language infornt of other people...."
Rafidi came in the group chat agreeing with that statement...
Ending up everybody in the networking group agree about that point....

What he said ..does make sense....and when you think about it...
Yes...It is rude actually...
But it has already a cultural thing among Malaysian i guess..

Just accept the people for whom they are...

Speak a common language which everyone can understand...

That i believe can be the 1st step for unity in Malaysia

Is it really true ??
Nice guy finish last?....Till certain extand i agree because probably the girl that you like probably like bad boys...But from my personal experiences, girls only play with bad guys and bring nice guys home...And girls...Sometime you guy can be over jealous or seem didnt care...But your assumption is wrong...They care about you TOO much thats why they do so....=) Most cases i heard, is the boyfriend being execessively nice end up break up with the girl because found someone new...=)...I prefer jealousy over perfect relationship...Atleast you know they care too much about you....But everything must be at moderation....Moderation is always the best..If execessive jeaolousy can lead to danger as well..=)

I do agree at 1 part " Bad guys willing to make a move while the nice guys tend to be shy " which sometime can be an attraction as most girls like confident guys...
