Summer ChillToday we had up to 37 °C and the air was so close. Then finally a thunderstorm with lots of rain arrived at the evening – what a relief! That made me remember a tune I did two years ago about having rain to chill down the summer heat. It’s just a simple melody and a field recording of rain and thunder, but it’s all I needed to sketch the mood. Enjoy and cool down :-)

Pale_Rider_2This one turned out as a very strange hybrid of Experimental Ambient, Ska and a diffuse feel of Western Movie. I added a sequence from my favorite Clint Eastwood movie (in German) – Pale Rider – where the settlers daughter reads from the Book of John. “… and hell followed with him.”
