Here's Duchess and her 10 puppies! Born 19.4.2010, will be available for adoption when they turn 8 weeks old!

+-2/3 yr old female Alsation. Abandoned by owner. Very well mannered, loving, clever, good with children and other dogs. Never had the life she deserves!

Snippy
+-1yr old male Africanis. Rescued as a neglected puppy. Snippy has been waiting for a very long time... and we're not sure why! He's super affectionate, clever, playful, alert, responsive, an all around fabulous dog!

Lollie was handed in by her owners a couple of years ago. Due to her seizures, finding a home for her proved to be difficult. A few people tried, but usually couldn’t take it once they witnessed her fitting. The past few months were tough on Lollie and staff. The kennels were no place for such a delicate girl!

The perfect family finally came along, but just a week later, she had the most intense seizure and by the end of it, vets deemed her brain dead. She was put to sleep on the 15 June 2010.

May her precious soul finally rest in peace…

+-2yr old male Collie X Chow (as far as his purple tongue goes..). Found running with a broken chain around his neck. Overall good condition. If not claimed within 2 weeks, Noble will need a new home! Affectionate, playful, needs a little confidence.

+-18mth old female Staffie X. Owner wanted to put her to sleep but luckily she was sterilized instead and brought to DARG! She is ridiculously loving, wiggly, playful, just full of life! Her indented skull has been checked out by a vet and it's an old injury... We dread to think what exactly caused it. However, this has not affected her in any way.

Despite his physical neglect, Mickey is the happiest dog is the world! After a little medical attention, he will be ready to find a new loving family that will treat him with the respect he deserves. Promises to bring much joy into your home.

Our ’special needs’ baby needs a special new home!
A +-3yr old female Staffie who is super affectionate, cuddly, lovable and loyal, Lollie needs caring and patient owners to deal with her special needs as she suffers from seizures which started after she fell into a pool when she was a puppy. She now takes 2 tiny inexpensive pills a day (DARG is willing to help with thess) - light sedatives, which help her be happy and comfortable. She needs very caring owners, willing to handle the rare seizure and willing to give her medication religiously. Lollie is an absolute honey. Happy, kissable, hugable, snuggable and everything else one could wish for in a pet.
