Taldryan Consul Report - 11.10.09

The Summits were becoming anxious. Five days had passed. The Proconsul held firmly to his statement to wait a week for word from the Clan's errant leader. Two camps had begun to form; those who thought whether or not the Consul was gone for good he should be relieved of command and replaced with a more responsible candidate, and those who clung to Vodo's remarkable loyalty to the Clan above all elese. In two days, should no word from the Consul arrive, it would be up to the Proconsul to determine the Clan's course of action. The campaigning had begun.

Taldryan news

On November 5th, Taldryan celebrated our annual holiday, Domination Day. Domination Day is a rememberance of the Clan's victory in the Sixth Great Jedi War, of those who sacrificed all for their brothers and sisters, and of relfection on the Clan's current standing. Traditionally, Domination Day is celebrated with an issue of the Taldryan Times and the Taldryan Tallys. Due to various factors however, this year the Domination Day issue of the Tal Times has been pushed back to Thanksgiving, and the Tallys were shelved.

If you pay attention to your inbox however, you will have noticed the State of the Clan Address I released which detailed a few points I wanted to touch on, but also the recipients of a few of our prestigious Clan Awards!

The following awards are given to outstanding members who contribute to their Battleteams, Houses, and Clan in a meaningful way. The Awards can be given multiple times and to multiple people.

Shazair Rathden and Sharad Taldrya Hett were both awarded a Star of Archanis for their unique leadership presences in a time of need.

Lokasena Corvinus was awarded the Crescent of Ektrosis for his work as an Assitant Loremaster and for contributing to the Clan fiction.

Andan Taldrya Marshall was awarded the Mark of Honor for his persistant work on the behalf of Taldryan at all levels of membership and position.

The following awards are unique, given to only one member and is relinquished to the next if awarded again. These members have contributed to the Clan's overall experience in exceptional ways.

Starrett

Starrett received Mav's Temperence, a unique award that is given only to those who recognize that by stepping down from leadership voluntarily when their time has come, they better the Clan.

Sharad Taldrya Hett

Sharad received Duga's Devotion, another of our unique awards for his steadfast, unyeilding devotion to Taldryan and his house, Dinaari.

Day of the Fox

The hall quieted quickly, eyes shifting to the front as they felt him enter. Moving quickly to the dias, the pale man shifted his long warcoat, regarding the assembled crowd, remembering that the last time this hall was this full was when they reclaimed it from Crask's droids. It always stood relatively empty, and Muz had made the call to throw the celebration here, making use of the throneworld that they had lost so much to win back. They stood there, looking at him, and he could feel their thoughts probably as easily as they felt his presence in the Force, wondering if he was going to just stand there.

"Brothers, sisters..." Muz wove a strand of the Force around his throat, lending it's power to his voice. "We stand here today, in the halls of our predecessors, celebrating the acts of those who have gone before. Darth Firefox, for his wisdom to lead us from the Hammer, Darth Cotelin for his leadership, Darth Sarin for his strength." He paused, looking around at the nodding heads, letting his eyes fall to several of the journeymen that seemed pressed against the far walls by the equites as they jostled for position.

Muz waved his hand as in dismissal. "But that is not why I celebrate tonight. Great acts as those were in the past, greater acts will lead us in the future. The Dark Hall is not a testament to their strength, but to yours. We all have paid a dear price to be here today."

He paused, breathing as he raised a glass to the room. "Today, like this hall, belongs to all of us, the price paid in sweat and blood. K'oyacyi." He watched as the rest of the room raised glasses and mugs before sipping from his own.

Stepping back down from the dias, Muz found his praetor quickly, lugging a chest around with him. Waving at him, Muz motioned for the younger Krath to follow him through the crowd so that he could hand out the polished aurum and ditanium discs, the medal that they called the 'seal of loyalty'.

Today is the Day of the Fox, one of two holidays in this Brotherhood. Its day is set as an anniversary of Firefox's ascension to the Iron Throne, starting a chain of events that led us to our Exodus from the Hammer. As I said in the fiction above, I think that it is more than just a day to remember acts from years before many of us even arrived in the Brotherhood, but also as a celebration of those among us who continue to make the Brotherhooda great place to be.

As Tradition dictates, we hand out Seals of Loyalty on the Day of the Fox. These individuals have shown great loyalty to the club as a whole, in their efforts to keep our club fun, interesting, and growing into the future. It is a token of our esteem, and I wish to congratulate this year's recipients.

The following members have exhibited exceptional merit and are awarded with Seals of Loyalty:

Braecen
Zakath
Sanguinius
Dralin
Frosty
Kyra
Dyrra
Bob
Malisane
Fang
Kal
Impetus
Robin
Kalak
Draco
Halcyon
Phoenix
Korras
Xander
Sashar
Vodo
Thran
Taigikori
Aabsdu
Windos
Kaek
Chaosrain
Jeric
Arion
Sarin
Shikyo
Firefox
Ood
Sidarace

The medals should be on your dossiers before the end of the day.

KPN Shikyo Sasuke Keibatsu Report

So, Ive learned a few things recently that Im ashamed to say I didnt know about earlier. On the warbanner request form, Equite 4 members are able to request a custom stripe on their warbanner. Seeing as the form asks for this, I will allow members to request a warbanner with a custom stripe or one of the stripes provided for warbanners. However, I am not grandfathering this for members who are Equite 4 and have already used up their 3 requests.

(Disclaimer: This may be for Dark Councilors or Equite 4 members only. I'm not sure which but please test this theory for yourself. :P)

Something I also wanted to mention is about custom lightsabers requests. While were pretty lenient with what people want for custom sabers, we gotta make sure things are a little more feasible. For example, a saberstaff held together with repulsorlift technology is not going to work. Sexy idea, bad reality. Im not saying stop creativity, Im just saying that make it so it makes sense across the board. Also, I strongly recommend that unless you know exactly what you want, hold off on sending in a request. This way, we dont end up going through saber after saber trying to get the idea of the day.

Now, lets get the sexiness under way.
I honestly dont have much to put here. I really dont have much good news to bring from the real life to the DB. DB-wise, Im working on some big projects, the Face Selector being one of them. Lately, weve been getting a good number of custom lightsaber requests so we may be a little backed up on them; however do not let this stop you from requesting a lightsaber. Just keep in mind that well be a little backed up and so bear with us. Since I have no content, I will open it up to questions:

Archangel asks: Are there going to be any custom robe competitions in the future?

We will be phasing these out eventually in light of certain projects that are in progress. However, there will be one done for this year and one possibly done next year.

Manji asks: Roughly how long does it take you to complete a custom saber?

The biggest issue with custom sabers is making sure I have customer satisfaction, (dont I sound like a capitalist arse?). On average, a custom lightsaber can be completed between 1-2 weeks, depending on customer satisfaction; however the Staff is given a month maximum to complete a custom saber.

Fremoc asks: How big is your junk? (Edited for Content)

As it is for all Keibatsu males, a measuring device has not been made high enough to accurately measure it.

Robes: 21
Lightsabers: 136
Warbanners: 290
You can also use it to help you use the Wiki more effectively by including a to-do list, reminders and useful links.

Once again, Alaris found himself without a student. True, he considered his mentoring of his Proconsul as a Master/Student relationship, but Vivackus had his duties as a summit leader which kept any time for any actual training to a minimum. This left Alaris in a state he never liked being: bored. His last apprentice, Kaira Rohana, had already matched him in rank, though he maintained that he was still stronger. What he needed was a new mind; a young mind. He needed a mind he could mold, destroy, and rebuild to suit his own needs. This was why he was now watching a group of Junior Journeymen work and train under the guidance of his former student and Rollmaster of House Satal Keto, Archpreistess Rohana.

He was met with the unsavoury taste of nostalgia as he faught to gain his own master almost five years earlier. Five years, he thought, and already at the level that I am. He knew that he would never acheive this ability with Skywalker's little band. He knew that it was the Dark Side that empowered him, that emboldened him to be as powerful as he was. I still have further to go, he mused to himself silently. He kept his eyes toward the Dark Council, a Council he felt lacked the strength to truly keep the Grand Master in check. True, he liked it this way. The Grand Master should retain the ability to control his underlings and not vice versa, and Darth Ashen was acheiving just that.

He returned his mind to the here and now, remembering his own motto, and returned his gaze to the small contingent of Journeymen, attempting desparately to impress him.

Summer is the Holiday Season because all Students are on a break from school. October is the Holiday Season because it has Thanksgiving/Veteran's Day and Halloween. Is there a time of year that couldn't be slated to be a Holiday Season? There's a Holiday in EVERY month up here in Canadia. Even "Family Day" in February.

Second... Christmas is at the End of December. Americans still have to celebrate Thanksgiving, yet. WHY, oh God why, are there already advertisments for Christmas specials and sales and so on. There's no reason a Santa Clause Parade should be happening BEFORE the American Thanksgiving. BEFORE! Early December I could understand... but when you have a Santa Clause parade that blocks off the route to get to the train station that I might go visit family, in NOVEMBER, and have a police officer suggest to me that I should have checked to see if there was anything happening, of COURSE my response is going to be, "I didn't think to check for a Santa Clause parade before there's any snow on the ground." Then he gives me sass, and I give him the finger, and then I get booked, and then my Dad has to post bail, and then I get off scott free because the Police Officer is a racist... it just takes up SO much time that I don't have. Yes, I know Christmas is coming, and yes I'm going to buy presents early so that I can avoid the rush, but come on, don't shove it down my throat like cough syrup that's just gonna make me puke anyway.

I've decided on a new name for Christmas, because it seems that even Athiests are celebrating a day dedicated to a religious figure they don't recognize.
Character Histories, how they SHOULD be done.

So, I was going through my que today, and came across a rather awesome Character History. Novice Teia Coran has by far had one of the best submissions and all of the younger members should take note. More importantly, I want clan leaders to stress this type of example onto their members, as more often than not, I decline more histories than I approve them.

This is just a quick note that our New Member Activation page has been re-coded in PHP, tested, and launched super early this morning. The updated code has fixed a number of bugs; fixed some typos in the activation notification email; and optimized the code to be much more efficient and maintainable.

It should work as expected now (which is really what people care about). Please report any bugs that are encountered (if any).

To those of you that receive emails when a new member joins...please forgive my test joins. There were a number of test members that "joined" last night with a name similar to "PHP Test#". If you didn't guess already, you should ignore those. They were me. :)

GM Muz Ashen Report

"Sashar?" The Proconsul tapped his fingers on the desk, looking at the Erinos with a quizzical gleam in his eye. Sashar blinked, re-reading the transmission from Antei again.

"Braecen, we need to get to the dock, and now." He rose from his seat quickly, the chair grunting as it was shoved back by the backs of the man's knees. "We're expecting the Spear."

"Spears?" Braecen stood with him, following the Arconan Consul as he made his way down the hallway. "I thought the old Gen'Dai was retired?"

"Not Spears." Sashar continued, increasing his speed and pulling a commlink from his belt. "The Fallen Spear. The Grand Master."

Braecen grumbled to himself, keeping pace with him as he followed. Sashar nodded, the unsaid acknowledgment of the man's history with the Dark Lord. Flipping open the comm, he keyed the coded frequency that would send his message to all of the Arconae and many of the Shadesworn, letting them know to meet them in the docking bay.

Turning down the corridor, he listened to their bootfalls echo off the durocrete walls. The chirp of his commlink demanded his attention, and he clicked it into the power-on position, the holographic Anzati hovering above his arm as he moved. "Sashar, Boral Control just cleared the Spear. I took the liberty of getting an appropriate reception ready for them."

Sashar narrowed his eyes. "Define 'Appropriate', Legorii."

"Well, I figure that he's not here to kill any of us, otherwise he'd just glass us from orbit." Legorii snorted. "So, since there's not much notice, he's probably here to give us something."

"Or to fire us." Braecen spat, and Sashar raised an eyebrow at him before he turned the commlink off. Stopping in front of a door, he tapped the console, watching the heavy blast doors slide apart, revealing the rows of guards that flanked the carpet from the door. Legorii nodded at them as they cleared the door, stepping to his side as they moved from the doorway.

Sashar lowered his voice as he watched out of the airlock as the Kyataran's ship approached. "Where is Etah?"

Legorii shrugged his shoulders. "It was short notice, after all."

The ship set down quietly, the hydraulic landing gears venting gas as it landed, a ramp rolling down the front of the forward-facing bay of the ship as the airlock slid down, revealing a row of dark-armored guardsmen. They moved quickly and quietly down the ramp, lining up along the carpet as the Dark Lord stomped down after them. Two more guardsmen followed him, carrying ebony chests with engraved metal furniture.

Muz motioned for them to place the chests in front of him, wrapping a tendil of the Force around the locks to open them, revealing the ancient metal artifacts within as the Guards joined their brethren. "Consul Sashar Kodiak Erinos."

Sashar stepped forward, bowing his head slightly.

"To the victor, goes the spoils." Muz motioned to the artifacts, lifting them from their cases with his mind, letting them spin slowly in the air. "As such, Arcona is granted first choice of the spoils."

Sashar watched the holocrons swirl in the air between the Dark Lord and himself. He had heard that they had found a cache of holocrons hidden in Crask's personal effects, but it was just a rumor until now. The Force leaked from the artifacts as they orbited each other, Sashar enhancing his eyes with a thread of Force before reaching out to claim Arcona's Prize.

---------

"Is that all you have for me, Pavan?" His greasy hair moved slightly in the breeze. They didn't get much wind up this high, despite the high premium that his contact paid for a balcony office. The hundreds of skyscrapers served as a buffer against the wind. He stared at the information broker, waiting for the man to get over himself.

"They didn't tell me any more than that, mister Loira." He straightened his suit, giving the older man a look as dirty as his clothes.

"Well, how do I know that it's not some sort of trap?"

"Hey, I'm just here because I was paid to arrange the meeting." Pavan stepped back another step from the man. He had asked to meet him on the balcony in case his appointment smelled as bad as he looked. Of course the bum would have to be paranoid, too. "If you want to meet him or not, I still get paid."

He raised his hand, chewing on filthy fingernails and watching Pavan squirm. "Where did he want to meet?"

---------

He looked up at him with burgundy eyes, knowing well not to let his posture speak fear. Dark eyes regarded him as he rose from the bow required by tradition. The green eyed Arconan did the same to his left, her scent wafting across to him. He smelled the essence of Corellian Black Lillies, Rojos and something else that he could almost identify. He shuffled the thought to the back of his mind, waiting for the Dark Lord to finish speaking.

"I need them alive." Muz turned from them, pacing slowly in front of the throne. "You will not fail."

Xathia shot Arion a quick glance, her own Krath mind trying to dissect the wisdom in sending Dark Jedi from different clans on this perversion of the Great Hunt. Arion nodded slowly at her as if to say that he understood.

Muz stopped in front of them, staring at them with his nightmare eyes. "May the Force serve you well."

The pair bowed quickly, stepping backwards down the dark carpet before they turned to leave. Muz watched them leave before turning on his heel to pace again. The doors opened, two leaving and one entering. Muz shot the throne an angry glance before turning his head toward the new interloper continuing his path on the cold stone of the Dark Hall. The interloper moved with confidence, his gait marking him as an Obelisk as much as the blue trim of his robes.

He moved quietly toward the Grand Maser, stopping a few paces away and dropping to one knee, his warm green eyes locked on him. "What is thy bidding, my master?"

Muz stopped in his step, a cruel smile erupting from the corners of his mouth.
Report Time!

So, the biggest news lately has been CLAN FORCE POWERS.

Basically, the long and the short of it is that when we made the character sheets, we didn't include the old clan force powers for a variety of reasons. Several of the clans had powers that were already covered under the basic force powers, and others had powers that were really not very star wars, and didn't jive with the Brotherhood's efforts to get as canon as possible. As a result, we had no clan powers on the character sheets whatsoever. And then someone decided to remind me how much impact the clan powers had as far as helping distinguish the clans from each other. I agreed, and went through the Canon Powers that we didn't already take advantage of with the core powers, and made a pile of powers for the consuls to pick through.

The clans were able to pick in order of their clan's placement during the previous Great Jedi War. As a result, here's what was picked:

ARC: Force Wraiths and Blood Trail

TAL: Phase and Cryokinesis

CSP: Combustion and Plant Surge

PLA: Spear of Midnight Black and Convection

CNS: Force Blast and Heart Stun

TAR: Smoke Demon and Rakghoul Creation

These powers have full descriptions that will be up on the wiki as soon as possible.

You'll notice that the consul's have been posting their reports on the main page now, which is a bit of difference from how we used to do it in the past. Aside from making the News page more active (and fuller of information), it also helps everyone understand what the clans are doing and what they are like, personality wise. It's been pretty useful, so far, so I don't think we'll be changing that.

But yeah, it's only consuls that are doing this. We don't need to bog down the page with Quaestors or PCONs or anything.

Orv and Arion found a glitch with the joining members not being able to activate their dossiers and get transferred to clans. It's been fixed now, but please make sure that you guys check your rosters and make sure that no one was manually transferred into your unit. When manual transfers happen, no email is automatically generated, so those members can easily fall through the cracks. So please take a look and send any welcome emails that you may need to. Thanks. The guys also cleared up the issue we had with Independant House Revan not showing up properly on transfer requests and competition listings. That's because they rock.

Mirei tried to join the club again.

Mirei is a member from our past, a troublemaker that refused to adhere to our rules here in the Brotherhood. After violating it's probation a number of times, Mirei was expelled from the brotherhood, which is actually a pretty rare occurrence, all things considered. Anyway, Mirei is obsessed enough with the Brotherhood (and the Emperor's Hammer, and the rebel Squadrons, and the...well, you get the point) that it will often find ways of obscuring it's IP address and rejoining under a new name.

Well, with a different IP and a different name, it's hard to prove that it's really them, right? Wrong. Mirei has a very distinct manner, a specific modus operandi, and always seems to cause the same sort of drama whenever they come back. It's only just a matter of time before they resort to their old tricks, and prove themselves to be Mirei, and end up banned (again).

When Sanson joined the club, they came to the brotherhood with the Emperor's Hammer having just banned them as being Mirei. The gentlemen in the Hammer were kind enough to warn me that it was (in their opinion) Mirei, and I took that under advisement. In the Brotherhood, our members are given specific rights due to the Dark Covenant, and we can't ban people because the EH dudes told us to. That's just not how we roll. So, with the knowledge that this member was suspect, we just knew that we had to watch for the behavior that Mirei always resorted to.

It only took a week for Sanson to resort to all the same activities and behaviors that Mirei is known for. Old habits die hard.

Anyway, Mirei/Sanson was banned from IRC and had their dossier deleted in enforcement of the old ban. You can check out the notes for that case on the Wiki.
Ask the GM!

Shardara asks: Hey Muz, I was just looking at the robe construction tool on the DB site and I noticed that out of the seven options for the journeymen robes that I have access to only one of them is geared more towards a female. I know that as I get promoted the choices of robes include more female designs but I think it would be cool if there was a more even choice between male and female robes from the beginning, and overall with all the robes that are available.

Well, the simplest answer is to tell you to work harder and earn the other robes that are in there for higher ranks. But since I am sure you have already heard that from a dozen people already, I'll skip that part. ;)

The robes selector is one of those things around here that we constantly add to and improve. At initial launch, there weren't terribly many lady-specific robes, and that was for several reasons. (there weren't *any* lady robes prior to that release, many female members preferred the masculine robes anyway, etc) Of course, at initial launch, we had like a third or so of what we have now. Journeymen had two choices, regardless of rank. But still, it blew the doors off of the old stuff. But a huge part of that project being done is how we structured it. We made it so that we could expand it, add more stuff to it, etc.

Since it is one of those things that we sporadically and randomly update, and there are ladies who have been asking for more stuff that is catered to them, we will take that into account as we expand the selector. Heck, earlier this year, we added three additional female robes just to bring it up some for the ladies. But we don't let people know when we are expanding it. It's like a nice little present from the Herald and I when we do. ;)

If you would like to see what is in the current robes selector regardless of rank, order, clan, or society (yes, what order you choose, what clan you choose, and membership in specific societies in the brotherhood unlocks more robes), you can click here.

Thanks Shardara, and enjoy your Dark Cross.

Clan Naga Sadow Consul Report 25/10/09

We are here to add what we can to life, not to get what we can from life. William Osler

New Sepros Palace
Sepros
Orian System

Manji settled back into his chair with a sigh of content as the holographic image of one of the executives of the Dlarit Corporation faded away, leaving him in peace. Hed been working day and night over the past few weeks to bring some semblance of order back to the holdings of his Clan; the aftermath of the Yuuzhan Vong attack was still being felt. Many of his leaders had been injured or were missing following the attack, and the new Summits were putting all their time into making things right again.

A glance at the datapad on his desk brought to mind the communiqu hed received from the new Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos, Robert Sadow- Were shifting our base of operations to the fortified monastery at Mucenic. Please redirect all communications accordingly. The Disciples of Ragnos had been hit hard by the attack, their castle at Kar Alabrek now mostly gutted. Their response was natural; to retreat to a more secretive, fortified location in order to strengthen themselves. In contrast, Ludo Kressh had escaped relatively unscathed, but the new Quaestor Malisane Sadow seemed to have his own plans for his House.

Reaching out to a small flask on the other side of the desk, Manji pulled a small porcelain cup towards him and poured himself a measure of sak, Kyataran rice wine. His new Proconsul Taigikori would be back soon with the files hed requested- in the meantime, the Consul of Naga Sadow revelled in the sensation of having a moment to savour his alcohol.

So, Ive got another pretty busy month to talk about here in CNS-land. Following the conclusion of the Feud last month, we had a load of awards given out for performance during the Feud and the Great Jedi War, and some bigger awards for general recognition of the truly great members of our Clan. And somehow I slipped through that net with a promotion to Pontifex! :D Thank you to everybody who wrote a recommendation for that, and thank you to everybody whos congratulated me; I really appreciate your kind words. We also saw the previous Proconsul Ashura Isradia Sadow get a very, very well-deserved promotion to Sith Warlord for everything that hes done for the Clan and for the DB as a whole. Congratulations, Ashura!

On the medals front, I cant really report every medal that was given out without this turning into a rather tedious list. Instead, Ill simply say congratulations to Robert Sadow, Darth Goat Vexatus, Macron Sadow, Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow, Fremoc Pepoi, Dyrra Skye, Jade Sadow, Kano Verda, Raven, Zaxen Isradia, Vladek, Tyren Atema and William Darkfire. All of you fully deserved the merit medals which you received, and some of them were long overdue.

In addition, the Clan Summit is now looking rather different from last month; first up, congratulations to our new Proconsul, Taigikori. Taig has some great ideas and a very positive attitude, and I look forward to working with him to improve CNS. In addition, both HMR and HLK now have new Quaestors due to Tsainetomo unfortunately being forced to step down from the position of HLK Quaestor due to real life issues. To that end, the new HLK summit consists of QUA Malisane Sadow and new Aedile, Dyrra Skye. Get stuck in, you two! On the other side of the fence, as youll have gathered already, our former Consul Bob has returned with a new computer to kick arse as the Quaestor of Marka Ragnos.

We have some rather nice plans in the works up here on the Clan Summit; Ill give you a quick rundown of whats been on the list this month, and what will continue to be on there as we work on it.
Both Bob and Malisane have been getting stuck into the fictional development of their Houses; the movement of House Marka Ragnos base of operations to Mucenic is just the first step in Bob and Fremocs plans. Meanwhile, Malisane has some rather cool ideas for the Battleteams of Ludo Kressh, which hell be working with Dyrra on fleshing out.
In case you werent aware, were currently undergoing a bit of a revamp of the Black Guard; for those of you who dont know what that is, its basically like a special group of secret assassins who guard the backs of members of the Summit. There are a few Black Guard competitions from your House Summits out at the moment, and watch out for more; its a very cool group, and gives you something quite ninja-like to put on your characters wiki.
The other project that weve made some substantial progress on this month is a redesign of the CNS website. Not just any redesign, though- were planning to imbue it with some pretty sexy functionality and some stuff thatll make it quite unique. Im going to be working on the artwork side of that to get it sorted and were getting the coding prepared to be implemented when the graphics are done.

<img src="http://nekuramanji.googlepages.com/ConsulReportTheBuzzHeader.png"width="300" height="60">

Not much new to report from last month; weve still been seeing some pretty impressive levels of participation even after everybodys winding down from the Clan Feud. This month I got somewhere in the region of 50 emails telling me about members of the Clan getting medals, whether Crescents or Clusters of Fire; great job, everybody, keep it up. And also, I highly encourage you all to take the History courses in the Shadow Academy if you havent already- Id like more courses to grade, and theyre pretty good fun to take!

As far as other news goes, I dont have anything particularly noteworthy to put in this section. There should be some news in the next few days though regarding which Clan Force Powers CNS will have to play with, so keep your eyes on the news page!

<img src="http://nekuramanji.googlepages.com/ConsulReportConclusionHeader.png"width="300" height="60">

Thats all for now; as always, any thoughts you have, Im more than willing to hear them. Just find me on IRC or drop me an email and Ill get back to you.

Onto real life; the workload for my Masters is a little bit intense, but I think Im keeping on top of it pretty well. To be honest, itd probably be a little easier if I hadnt also been doing a gig every week for the past four weeks with the band, but hey- playing metal gigs is rather more fun than reading about hagiography, a genre of writing specifically about the lives of saints in the medieval period, and often written by monks who took great pains to describe the various miraculous things that saint did. :D Also, my seminar on Wednesday should be fun, since its all about medieval explorers, the very same thing that I did my undergraduate dissertation on; its a sure sign that youre a history nerd when you look at the list of primary sources the seminar tutor has given you and recognise/enjoyed reading almost all of them. :D

Thanks for reading- until next time!

KPN Manji Keibatsu Sadow (Krath)/CON-PROF/Naga Sadow
Consul of Clan Naga Sadow
