Life has been turned on it’s head for me.

Being able to look at things through a different lens,
being a completely different person for the first time in 25 years, is incredible.

Things are now being attracted towards me,

I thought it was bullshit, but it actually works.

Peoples attitude towards me, especially women has changed dramatically. Drawn by warmth and super strong energy, I’ve become a magnet.

This has also brought out the crap in some people, but I care it about very little now, as I’m learning how to stay in a happy mood, not to add weight or energy to what you don’t want, but focus on what you DO want, and see it.

My car is one example, and you can see the pictures of what it will probably look like. The Ghost Golf was something I visualized and now its actually happening.

It already has purple leather interior, smoothed bumpers and trim, this month I’ll start on some bodywork. Bit by bit it’s being transformed, and I love it.
It will be modified and unique to me and my own energy, like a big wave of it, me, music and the Ghost golf surfing down the street.

Now I’m magnetizing things wherever I go.

How can how you feel, affect people so much? It’s crazy but it really works.
All of a sudden the girls are really into me, and I didn’t even do anything, just believed it….

Back Sooner than planned, it feels good to have Technics again.

They were actually last on my list to get,
But since I’m waiting to build up cash to get the studio stuff, I felt it was the right thing to do.

Been doing a lot more things according to how I feel.

This was one of them.

Each time I stop thinking and let what I feel guide me it works. To the point where it is freaking me out. So long as I feel it from the heart deep down, bang! it happens. You are then led at the right time to your opportunity, it just suddenly opens up.

To the point where I feel I should walk at work and I bump into my favourite girl. Being taught how to be more positive and change my attitude, I’ve noticed girls attitude has really changed towards me. I was never very good at all that, not Mr Smooth! But now it’s like, what happened?

I told one girl where I train what I felt, didn’t think much, and she melted! So if I feel again I should say something else I will, it is unbelievable how it works, I don’t get it! Yet when I think what to say I crash and burn.

I had pretty good scratching and Dj skills 10 or15 yrs ago, and want to get ready to support the Satamile release with those skills.
Adding scratching to my live show is one potent weapon, and add again being able to Dj and give a good show too.

I can even do house (with electro not friggin house) parties once my speakers arrive.

The Road Ready case was an extra purchase but fits perfectly. At the moment everything is hard work, using a crossfade, I always used a switch,and gripping the outside edge of the record, now I’m on the surface.
It’s like trying to learn to ride a bike backwards.

Slowly I’m getting there.Different hand position on the record, I can visualize how good it will be…

The New Recruits Akai And Samson

The New Blood for The Crypt starts to flow ... (3 Photos)

After what seems like forever and a host of fucking car bills, The studio rebuild adds some serious HEAVY weight.
Alongside the Midfield General to end all brutal electro contests, the Samson Real Time Analyzer checks the signal to make sure it’s firing on every last frequency.

Since no one will lend anyone like me any money anymore,

The rebuild is happening the hard and slow way, but the core is nearly done.
Next month maybe the Waves Y96k or an Alesis Masterlink.
The 6 months after that are the most crucial, that’s when the Prophet 8 and Andromeda will land ready to begin their Training in the Underworld Electro Gym.

This is to prepare them for when Satamile call upon them.

Yes I am now an official Satamile artist, and all of this rebuild
is to support the deal and make it the best it can be.
Given the current global financial meltdown, they’re waiting for their shot.
It’s pointless to try to release in the midst of all this, and that’s a smart move from my point of view.

Every last pound is going into all this, the largest amount ever…

It means life is no fun, I do nothing except live and work for the machines.
But the vibe I feel is getting more powerful and ominous by the day.
It will be 100% worth it and deliver the kind of devestating Tactics and Bombs that I promise.
I just don’t care about anything else anymore, I’m not built or made for any other purpose than this…

On another topic, the Internet Indie Music Promotion ‘Advisors’

I’m getting very, very sick of them, and I wanted to give you a warning about them.
Most success stories have more than just an internet element to them, no wait ALL of them.
It’s good press to say you ‘made it on the web’.
I have tried many, Bob Baker for one over many years, most don’t work. I still read Music Think Tank just to see what ‘new fad’ comes next.

Demos don’t work right? Satamile signed me from a demo.

Labels are dead do it yourself right? And get drowned amongst everyone else releasing crap that you can’t fight through.
Play live, that’s how the ‘new’ artist makes his living.
So now all the shit artists flood the venues, and there are only so many places to play.
Now the decent acts will have to accept lower rates as a result of gigs being awash with shit.

It’s all because the ‘advice’ has been for years, ‘Go Play Live’ to earn.

Does anyone go back the last few years and analyze this advice?
No, you just get the latest new ‘fad’, the rest of us are judged on results.
BE AWARE in one shape or another, music promotion bloggers make money from advice.
Just check out Robin Good of Master News Media, and he’ll reveal all the money making blogging secrets.

That’s precisely how he earns his living, giving advice, this then generates his business.

His advice is different and I appreciate that.
But even his stuff can be just too much to sift through sometimes.
The bottom line is, MOST DEALS I’VE HAD WERE FROM SENDING DEMOS.
The QUALITY of the music stands out enough, and the TARGETS I pick are pinpoint.

Labels have strong contacts that can aid far more than the web.

They can help you stand out from the crowd AND hone your craft to make it even stronger.
Wasting too much time on the web? SWITCH IT OFF, hone your craft.
It’s far more valuable a weapon, and labels see that value.

Labels are not all DEAD, so choose wisely and at your level.

The best will survive and the worst will fade.
This is a good thing, and the best way to rise above the indie music web promotion chatter.
No one has time any more to wade through crap for you.
So turn their head with the most magical sounds you can muster, and build those away from the quicksand…..

Two Major Signings For Tone Death FC

Some are older , more experienced, others are new pretenders.
The Yamaha AW4416 comes in as the first Centre Back, a seasoned campaigner with an impressive history.
Marshalling the tone defence and rock solid under hellfire both on stage and in the Crypt.
Watch out for the wiley Waves 96K card to cement the walls for intense battle even further.

The Peavey Kosmos Pro at Left Midfield, an underrated class act.
Much maligned because of it’s family, the Peavey has a score to settle.
Sculpting the bass bombs in a way even the Waves and DBX masters can’t match.
A hungry maestro who will create the deepest hz for the front players,
whilst preventing the team from being overloaded and distorted off the pitch.

It feels like a giant automaton is about to awaken,
after what feels like a thousand years to figure out how to move it.
Slowly and breathtakingly, the giant is raising itself to it’s feet.
Exciting times are ahead, and I can feel it coming.

Each building block that slams into place is an unshakeable one.
Much better than ever in the past,
the studio will be rebuilt with the kind of equipment I could only wish for.
The Ghost transport is ready to eat the miles of asphalt to play for the bass hungry electro heads around Europe and beyond.
All of this is taking time, but the foundations are very, very solid.

The automaton is coming, slowly, deliberately, but an unstoppable force for future electro.

That Dark asylum where he lives will ALWAYS be my home too.
What I came to realize was the sacrifice was made long ago, I just have been trying to fight it too much. The only thing in life for me are the dark tones.
There is unlikely to ever be room for anything else, and this is why this time I don’t struggle in the cuffs and the jacket. The choice has been made for you long ago, no need to fight it.

A normal life cannot coexist with this one and never could. However I try to escape it just comes back like a sledgehammer swung in a slow deliberate circle before it slams into my chest. It’s a juggle I can’t perform, a distraction I don’t need. The eyes need to focus like lazers on the goal. The dark, the electro, the tones. No mercy.

So my vision of growing old alone, but being content about that, was true.
It’s what I was meant to do, the fact that success is shaking my hand at this late stage tells you loud and clear. Only maybe just maybe one can unlock the other, but the two, the family man and the dark artist, cannot work together.
So accept my fate, because if you gave me a choice, I know which one I would always choose. No hesitation.
It’s why I came back from China, my instinct screamed at me to, it was right.
It’s why I quit jobs or leave girlfriends, because only 1 thing matters.
It’s why strange things happen to pull people away from me, because they’re going to stop me from going down the path that already has my name on it.

So with a last look over my shoulder as the door swings shut,
I prepare for the task ahead, and I don’t regret the life I left behind, but I now know it was never for me. I accept the life that lays ahead and I’m content with that. It’s where I have always wanted to be, I just tried to escape it.

My only Ghostwalk label vinyl release was mastered by Ron.
He taught me a lot, more than anyone else, and helped make my productions sound better. Giving me advice about tuning the room, getting decent speakers and a spectrum analyzer. Things no one else had done despite three different record labels in Europe.

I was actually planning to try and get ALL my future releases on a new label mastered by him. I appreciated what he did for me so much and enjoyed  listening to his stories of Basic Channel, UR, Jeff Mills, I got to learn what other people were up to and how they did it! I wanted to pay him back by continuing to let him work his magic and wisdom on the Electro.

I’m sad I couldn’t get the chance to continue working with him.
Best wishes to his family and friends and Detroit will miss him very much for sure. You can listen to an interview with Ron from Submerge on an earlier post here.

I took down the Mp3 and stopped the free downloads for 2 reasons.
Firstly, despite all the free goodwill, seems virtually no one was buying or supporting the artist, film makers too are STILL, despite me making it clear, expecting something for peanuts or nothing. Art IS worth something, the internet and P2P has NOT wiped that out so wake up.

I’ll challenge that because of the music/film industry and it’s legal pursuers starting to go after ISPs’ instead of torrent sites and downloaders, the “free” days of music and film are numbered. The ISPs’ WILL crack under legal pressure and disconnect broadband accounts and no bleating about privacy will stop it.

It’s starting in France, and will spread worldwide slowly but surely.
So you better be prepared for it, although the industries will never be the same again.

Second Reason is, I am trying to sort out a deal.
It’s early days yet but it’s serious enough for me to pull all the relevant tracks.
I’m sorry to say to all those people who enjoyed, appreciated the free stuff,that there will be no more free material.
It’s  looking very good for being a physical release route from now on.
This is VERY big news and could be the biggest deal of my life.
When it’s concrete I’ll give you more details, just waiting for it to be sealed.

If all works out ok it will be the platform I’ve always wanted and needed and worked so hard for. So watch this space because finally, the Electro is coming good in 2008 and this could really be just the beginning for The Ghost That Walks. It shows that never giving up was worth it, I was RIGHT and a big FUCK YOU to all those who doubted me and dissed me.

What you will see more is Video on places like You Tube and many others. As things develop this will replace Mp3 for anything audio and I hope for more interesting posts in the future of my travels and new deeper, darker and more deadly tunes than ever.

I WILL write my thoughts here more often now,
adding extra media for you at a later date, so stay tuned and keep it dark…

A volcanic, fucked up, battle scarred
creator from the dark depths the rest of you are scared to look into.
This stuff is about EMOTION.
Forget the technical, forget the production.
Do you FEEL IT??

It’s what I search for in every tune.
Just let go and feel it..
let the Ghost scream and roar and scare the
the shit out of me, and maybe even you,
If you’re lucky enough to feel the tones the way I do.

Music may be free for a while.
But that does not mean it has no value.
The next time you ask me to do something for free,
or if someone asks you to do the same think twice.
My art has true value, is no bullshit, and deserves to be my living.

“No Hope, No love, Only Underground…”
Is my favourite Underground Resistance phrase,
and that’s where the title of the latest tune is from.
I guess I understand this more than ever.

I haven’t lost hope of either,
I just don’t bank on them anymore.
whatever comes , comes, but the only thing
that stays the same is the dark music, the solace of the Underground.
Jobs, people, friends, lovers will come and go…

But the dark tones will always remain
after everything else is raised to the ground.

The Ghost, Me and the irresistable lure of the underworld.
So as my instincts prove me right yet again,
it’s no surprise another part of the trail is burnt in the road.

I was never meant for anything else,
and never will be.
No Hope
No Love
Only Underground

and nothing else besides….

This is another one of those surreal episodes
in life, where things seem to be happening in sequence.
I have to sit and wait my turn for the next plot twist,
yet each episode blends perfectly into the next like a script.

I can feel it happening like words from a page,
and I can’t explain why.
My instincts are tuned to it better this time, so I just roll with it.
These changes in direction and keys turning are as unpredictable
as any Lost episode.

I just understand and accept them now rather than fight,
and it’s fascinating to watch, even though I’m part of it.
Sometimes I think, “why the hell did that happen?”
then as the dark plot unfolds further, realization dawns…
I guess I’m fighting less and saving my energy, accepting my fate.

I just say ok, where next?
I could never have guessed I would be where i am now,
writing Electro again, which I thought was finished,
AND getting a strong reaction to it, which I never expected
to happen so fast…another lock is shattered into a thousand pieces.

Life gets in the way as usual.
If only I could erase life and just work on the electro,
things would be so much simpler.
I’m way behind schedule but pulling things back slowly.

Some tracks will now feature 2 parts,
twisting the original tune with the same elements
to a time limit of 1 to 2 days max.
This should get me back on track slowly.
Lots more in the pipeline.

I’m starting to look for a Nine Inch nails style singer,
female I thnk would be the best fit,
and have the most appeal to both guys and girls.
A very tough task in Medway, so if you know
of anyone in that area, please get in touch.

In 6 months I’ll have my live kit ready,
as well as being mobile for recording the chosen singer.
The style isn’t going to change.
Dark , full on Electro. But someone put the idea
in my head so let’s follow the rabbithole…
