On April 11, 2011 we announced our exit from the Flip business. We have maintained FlipShare and video sharing since then to allow customers time to transition to a new video sharing service. On December 31, 2013, you will no longer be able to share videos via FlipShare - all previous videos that you might have shared via FlipShare will also expire and be deleted.

Remember, the original videos that you have stored on your computer are not affected.

You may continue to use the complimentary 30-day video hosting from FlipShare for videos uploaded on or before November 30, 2013. Video sharing capabilities will still be supported until December 31, 2013. In addition to downloading your content to a local hard drive, you can migrate your content to a third party hosting provider that supports the country in which you're located. If you are having trouble locating a third party site or provider, there is a new service called Givit that may meet your video hosting and sharing needs. Givit can be used for sharing and storing videos for a longer period of time. To see if Givit meets your needs, go here. If you think Givit's service is right for you, you can register online for free. Givit can also be downloaded at the Apple App Store or the Android Market if you are using mobile devices.

Cisco will continue to provide technical support for both Flip video cameras and FlipShare until December 31, 2013. All information regarding the end of life for FlipShare and FAQs on these changes is available here.

Sincerely,

The Flip Video team

© 2013 Cisco Systems, Inc., All rights reserved. 170 West Tasman Dr. San Jose, CA 95134 USA | Unsubscribe

MUZZA-DOME 03 DEC 2011

So the day didn't start to well....I rolled into the "Muzza-dome" hoping to get amongst the early B grade race. Lined up patiently only to miss out by ONE spot. Was told that some crumb of a kid from Balmoral pushed in and got his mate to get him a number. As it turns out, this may have been a blessing in disguise! So I decided against heading for a bay loop and watched the D3 boyz race in A grade - looked like a tough race.

Anyway, Toddy and I lined up for the second B race with about 18 others. The wind was getting up and with a small group the race was always going to be tough. The first 15 minutes was hectic with a bunch of unsuccessful attacks being chased down within less than a lap. A few people were dropping off the back as the wind started to take its toll. The prime lap approached and despite being in about 8th wheel on the last corner, missed the kick and decided against wasting energy on a sprint.

The attacks kept coming for the next few laps however as the conditions appeared to be worsening, none got further than 60m-80m up the road. The pace finally slowed to a meagre 35kph when a Balmoral rider took off up the road. The C Grade race had been torn to shreds with groups of 2's, 3's and 4's all around the track and despite the slow speed no-one wanted to jump across through the carnage of C graders and join the Balmoral bloke.....Except me. I took off on the front straight and within 1/2 lap or so joined the solo rider....As I passed Dave Tucker in C grade I raised with him my initial concerns with the move..."this was going to be a bad idea!" I said.

As they say, two's company and we pushed along for a few laps taking turns into the wind and pushing when we had a tail. At the most I think we got nearly 1/4 lap in front of the bunch. Toddy was the faithful team mate keeping the pace of the following bunch in check. We turned onto the front straight to see the three lap board out....but it was for C grade. Bugger - the legs were starting to really scream. We continued to circulate as best we could however the conditions were taking their toll and the bunch was closing. When the three lap board did come out the Balmoral rider said "maybe we have it". He was hurting so I had to take a few longer turns into the wind to keep him with me. He took the front with tail winds to give me a little extra respite. With about one and a half to go he graciously said "you take it". I told him we'll sort it when we cross the line.

Finally we turned into the front straight and had enough lead to ease up 150m from the line. He slowed and allowed me the win. Top bloke. Was a great day and thanks to Toddy for keeping the bunch in check.

For sale various all must go

1. in the early, pretty slow race without any breaks getting away. we kept close to the front the entire race.
last lap mbicknell & tbonner were 2 and 3, w mbicknell droppong the hammer and pulling around a half lap. tbonner glanced back and saw everyone sitting in,
in so launched long range and was able to hold the competition off. bocky was giving it some as well and adam was having a bit of a day keeping the back of the peleton at bay.
todd and chris lined up for late b while we did a bay loop.
in a scrappy final 500m todd got cut off chris wheel but chris was able to come over the top of 5-10 and took the win. xould get some fruit toast with the coffees!

I could be wrong but I think my last race in Masters category was in fact my first race in Data#3 kit, a Fusion criterium back in November 2010. I won that race and was keen to keep the momentum going, if there was any momentum left after such a long break. However long ago it was, I was looking forward to this particular meet. I was beaten by Bayliss last year at the State road race and thought getting it right this time would be a good idea.

A wet and somewhat cool morning didn't worry me too much, in fact, I usually perform well in the rain so my mood was great. This, however, changed quite dramatically when I got out of the car to fuel up about 20km from Warwick - I suddenly realized how freezing and windy it was outside. This, I thought, is going to be fun.

I set up my rollers inside the hall and went into the usual business of warming up. In this kind of weather, a solid warm up will be crucial to having a good race. When I rolled up to the start line, sweat dripping off my face, hot and ready to go, I looked at the bunch I was going to race with. A lot of guys were shaking from cold like homeless dogs. "These guys can say goodbye to this race right now" I thought.

My race plan was very simple today (well, all my race plans are simple, always) – nobody was going to go anywhere without me, and I mean nobody. To do that, I was prepared to cover every move, every attack and everything that even looked like an attack. Mentally, I was ready. Legs? “Shut up legs” was my motto for today.

We started quite boisterously, evidently some people needed a warm up. I knew there was a hill somewhere, I didn’t know how hard it was. It didn’t take long to meet the hill – kind of short and not too steep but the pace was such, set by a dude from Ipswich, we lost most of the peloton right there on the first lap. After a short descend and a sharp left, I looked back – a bit of a mess and gaps everywhere. “Put some pressure on?” I thought. “Nah, too early, I need some company.” Once we bunched up, I counted how many of us there were left – 10. Good enough.

Next lap, same hill, we were down to 7.

When we came to the hill for the last time and with about 20km still left in the race, I wasn’t surprised seeing Bill Ayers (Ipswich) going hard at it, he looked like he was in good form. He wasn’t done yet as David Costanzo (Murwillumbah) went past him. These guys were on fire and they didn’t even hide it. The race was on. I knew who I was up against.

I accelerated a bit to keep pace with these two without going into the red, everything’s under control. I turned back at the top to see what kind of damage they have done – we had about 10 seconds already on the nearest chaser. “This is it” I thought, “This is the winning break.” The very next moment I hear a loud bang! - Bill Ayers punctured.

Descend, sharp left, it’s me and Dave Costanzo, everyone else is gone. And so we got into it, two of us against a possible chase behind. I reached into my pockets to get my fuel out – 2 Honey Shotz, washed it down with water. Another pull at the front, repeat. I needed carbs right now, the next 15km will squeeze every bit of energy out of me.

The first few kilometres were the hardest for me, I was on the limit and simply tried to do as much work as I could to keep the break alive. Dave was working hard, looking back after every pull to see how far the chasers were. Judging by his constant yelling, they were quite close at some point but then I found my legs again and we managed to raise the pace somewhat. When I looked back myself later, I didn’t see anybody. It’s just me and Costanzo then.

It is at this point, with about 10km to go, I started cramping. Nothing too bad but I had a few painful bites already and the legs started screaming “Stop!” at me. “Shut up legs” I said, “I want this win. I need it. Please?” I changed my pedalling, heels down, to keep the cramps away. It was working but one wrong move, and the muscles could seize, I knew that.

That last hill before the finish, I was almost sure I would crack so I wanted to go at my own pace, hard enough to discourage Dave to attack me and yet not too hard to cramp. It worked. I reached the top with functioning muscles and Dave didn’t attack. In fact, as the finish was so close now, I started to feel very good indeed.

I welcomed with great joy the 1km to go sign. I was smashed and very tired but in my head, I was as fresh as a cucumber. I wanted Dave to attack me, I wanted a fight and I wanted him to punch me first so that I’ll have an excuse to go at him. 500m to go, we still swapping turns. “Crap!” I thought, I ain’t going into a sprinting match here, I want some blood!

I shot from behind him and went for it. Far, way too far but who cares. And then I felt those bites again, the cramps were back. I looked ahead, still plenty to go. I looked back to see where Dave was. 10m back. WTF? I waited. He got back on my wheel and now it’s a freaking sprint match after all. Well, I’ve done this before, on the road and on the track, let’s see who is Abdujaparov here.

I waited for about 150m to go and then went again. Perfect gear, plenty of juice in the legs, I went faster and faster. And then I stopped. I saw this was it, Dave was too far behind, way too far. I grabbed the tops of the handlebar and freewheeled to the line slightly raising my hand as I crossed it.

I felt tired.

Richard Allen wins the 2011 QLD MMA3 Road Race Championship

<shapetype coordsize="21600,21600" filled="f" id="_x0000_t75" o:preferrelative="t" o:spt="75" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" stroked="f"><stroke joinstyle="miter"></stroke><formulas><f eqn="if lineDrawn pixelLineWidth 0"></f><f eqn="sum @0 1 0"></f><f eqn="sum 0 0 @1"></f><f eqn="prod @2 1 2"></f><f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelWidth"></f><f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelHeight"></f><f eqn="sum @0 0 1"></f><f eqn="prod @6 1 2"></f><f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelWidth"></f><f eqn="sum @8 21600 0"></f><f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelHeight"></f><f eqn="sum @10 21600 0"></f></formulas><lock aspectratio="t" v:ext="edit"></lock></shapetype><shape alt="Description: Podium State Champs 11.jpg" id="Picture_x0020_4" o:spid="_x0000_i1029" style="height: 211.8pt; mso-wrap-style: square; visibility: visible; width: 161.4pt;" type="#_x0000_t75"><imagedata o:title="Podium State Champs 11" src="file:///C:\Users\tbonner\AppData\Local\Temp\msohtmlclip1\01\clip_image001.jpg"></imagedata></shape>

Leaving Brisbane at 6.30am in fair conditions, I was hoping the expected inclement weather in Warwick may not have passed – tougher the better! However upon arrival, it was far worse than the forecast – even better!! It was cold, wet and very windy. Many of the riders from the earlier races made comment on how slippery it was and how much water was covering the roads. I knew it was going to be a hard day in the saddle so I set up the rollers and began warming up. An excellent warm up was an absolute necessity.

The race was 120km short consisting of 4 x 30 km laps.

After about 2km, Matt Ryan decided to launch the first attack of the day, however there was little reaction. After a minute or so Matt was brought back. As we approached the first climb, I moved to the front just in case the climbers decided to do their little thing(!) however nothing eventuated. After turning left, I launched my first attack trying to use the crosswind to my advantage. Everyone followed so I stayed on the front keeping it in the gutter. After numerous attacks from Matt and myself, I launched another which no one followed. Shortly after I heard this loud whistle and after looking back, I saw Matt coming across. I waited for him to get on and then we hit it. The peloton began chasing, however, it was falling to bits. Teammate Dave Crosswell (D3CC Race Team) and Andy Patten broke the back of the peloton and bridged the gap. We thought this was the perfect break with two Mainline and two Data#3 riders however the peloton had different ideas and did well to close the gap. As the peloton went past, I quickly noticed the field had been reduced to 9 riders in less than 15km of racing. The rest of the lap was steady but very inactive.

I then punctured just before the halfway point and quickly pulled over. With the spares arriving (slowly due to the conditions), I gave him a front and promptly received a rear! Anyway I had about two minutes to make up. As I started to pedal, I noticed 3 guys go past who were chasing. They paused a little for me and we started swapping off. It was evident shortly after that these guys were pretty stuffed so I got on the front and drove it while keeping focused on the flashing lights of the convoy a good distance up the road. I flicked my elbow only to find I'd dropped them. Luckily another guy punctured from the lead group and I was able to work with him for a while before he punctured again. Still over a minute down, I thought this might be race over. However in the spirit of not ever giving up, I had a couple of Capilano honey shotz and continued the chase.

I, along with the others, just went into tempo conserving energy. Once over the top, it was clear that Dave and Andy were on the gas as they had put in a fair gap to us. The chase then began and before not too long the group was back together. A few attempted attacks failed for the next 15km. Again on the final climb (6km from the line), Dave launched a vicious attack which ripped the field apart however, Andy and another rider managed to go with the move and open a big gap. Once over the top a rider from the group got on the front and began the chase getting to within 50 metres before the gap opened out to what looked like 150m. I decided this was my time to have a go at jumping across so I hit the group. It seemed like an eternity however I eventually got there and to my surprise so did another rider.

The attack finally came with 1km to go and again it was Dave. We all followed and at the 500m mark I looked around and saw the others had got back on so I decided to launch for the line. I quickly opened a good gap and gave it all only looking back once to see the group chasing. I remember thinking legs “don't fail me now”! At 150m to go, I looked back again. To my surprise and relief I had extended the gap a little more so I took the time to fix the jersey and go the two handed salute. Unfortunately no pictures of the two hand salute however I did get this one!

A few solid attacks but no one got away. The last three laps were upon us. I uncharacteristically sat in 5th wheel for the third and second last laps, being patient. Very unusual. The three chaps on the front very kindly rotated amongst themselves, and keep the pace high, so I could cruise around and stay fresh. A big thank you to Ashley Portas for pulling some hard turns on the front at that time.

For the last lap, I was the recipient of a long and fast led out by a fresh rider. We hit the final corner at 50kph, and took it real tight. The bunch was well and truly stretched out. As I got up to sprint, I heard a few screams and the horrible sound of metal meeting road. A few of the lads, feeling a touch ambitous, tried to take a wide outside line, and when my lead out man peeled off, they touched the brakes and slid out. Two guys down but they were ok, save for some bark off and needing new kits.

But the sprint must go on, and so it did. I was away, hard and fast, or so I thought. Going hard, pushing, ...presssing...finishing line...where are you ? Almost there, could this be the one ? Yes, yes,....and then with 10 metres to go I got swamped by a few kids half my age who had sat in the bunch the whole way around. Apparently, that's racing !! Anyway, I finished a respectable 5th, and had a great day out on the bike. Till next time. Thanks Team. I knew if I put my effort into preparation I had a good chance on the overall win because the two road races suited me. From January this year I have been building up for the event, and for the last 4 months Ashley Portas has been helping me with doing up plans and making sure I do not over train. Thank you Ash! Also great work for winning your age group at Fusion Games!
I started driving to the coast on Friday night, it was good to be able to stay at the parents farm in Nambour (which is 20min drive from both start lines). The dark clouds rolled in and the rain got harder and harder all night. So the first two stages at Eudlo was cancelled due to safety concerns (from the hard rain), because the hilly course has 2 90 degree turns on down hill blind corner. But this new was very disappointing as I was ready for the big race.
The organisers said that stage 3 will be on as the course is flatter and more safe.

Stage 3: North Arm Road Race
Well from the 20 who where due to compete in the division, only 15 lined up for the Stage 3. The race started at a fast 45km/h pace due to all riders being fresh. I am glad this did not continue for the race or I would be in trouble. On the second (of 4) laps one of the strong riders did a small attack on the climb, so me and 2 other joined and pushed to open a gap. We grouped on the decent and tried to establish the break away. we worked well together until the final lap. We kept the gap at aprox 30 sec, and me and another rider attacked on the final hill climb to set up the win. He forced me into the front with 800m to go and he would not pull through. I was worried of getting caught. So from 400m from the finish line I started to sprint, he was not expecting this, and I was able to get a small gap. I was fading and he was gaining but I was able to take the win by 1m.

Bit disapointed that I was not able to do the 2 satges, but very happy with the win.

Good luck to all at Cunningham,

adam

Team Training

Hi everyone, Nikolai's here. Let's talk some training, the Grafton race is not far away now.

This week we're into week 10 of our program. As I'm sure you have noticed, our focus during the weekday sessions is to increase our endurance capacity by means of steady paced, moderate intensity efforts in the paceline. We also have been doing some hill repeats up Mt Coot-tha at various intensities to condition ourselves for some climbing that awaits us between Grafton and Inverell. And of course, we have been trying to use our weekend time to further build up endurance with longer, sometimes flat, other times hilly rides.

From this week onward, having 10 weeks of consistent training in our legs, we'll narrow our focus somewhat and start pushing it a bit more both during the week as well as increase riding time with our weekend rides.

There's also an important event coming up on 25 September - the Queensland State Elite & Masters TTT. We'll start preparing for it from week 12 with the last TTT session in week 17, 5 days before the race.

This week then, we have 2 paceline sessions on Tuesday and Thursday, 2x20min on Tuesday and 3x10min on Thursday, all in RPE 14-15 intensity.

Those who are doing the Cunningham Classic this Saturday, I expect you guys to have an easy one on Friday for no more than 1h (road or trainer/rollers) or rest if you can't get on the bike. Have a recovery ride the following day if you can or rest.

Those who are not doing the Cunningham, can do either a club crit on Saturday followed by 2 Coot-tha hill repeats or opt for a 4hr endurance ride with a good measure of hills. I suggest Fig Tree Pocket to Gap Creek Rd and then on to Eatons Crossing, Redcliffe and back. On Sunday, those who've done the club crit and Coot-tha as well as those who had a Saturday off are doing the Saturday's long ride.

I received this via e-mail from a fellow Eastern Vets (EVCC) club member and thought that I would publish it. It you have a Shimano CN-7900 dura ace chain, it would be worth checking it before your next ride.

During a training ride last Wednesday I was riding down the Olinda-Monbulk Rd and accelerating out of the saddle when my chain suddenly came off. The loss of balance led to a fall at a speed of at least 50km/h. Luckily the worst injury I sustained is some facial cuts that required a bit of plastic surgery and 2 days in hospital. Given the speed of the fall I feel lucky that I didn't break anything or sustain a more serious injury. The total cost of repairs to the bike, helmet and HR monitor will be around $1000.

Some investigation has led to the probable cause of the chain coming off, and I thought this might be of interest to other members. The Shimano CN-7900series (Dura-ace) chains are directional and must be installed facing the proper direction, which I never realised. The technical sheet has the following to say:

"The proper design performance will be obtained when the CN-7900 is installed so that it faces the correct way. If it is installed so that it faces the opposite way, the chain may come off and the bicycle may fall over and serious injury may occur as a result"

It turns out they are right, as I had unknowingly installed the chain the wrong way around having never heard before of a directional chain. My advice to any member who installs their own chain (and possibly even if a bike shop has done it for you) is to check that it is in fact installed correctly otherwise they may end up experiencing the same painful and expensive lesson as I did. The chain should be installed such that the writing which is only on one side of the chain is to the outside of the bicycle. If it faces the inside then I suggest you get it corrected sooner rather than later!

For Sale

Pair of Wheels - Cosmic Carbone SLR's. The D3 team were featured in all races and with Martin Bicknell 3rd Masters C and Chris Elder 3rd Elite C, the pressure was on for a place.
I like the Hotdog type circuit and as it was 30 minutes plus 2 laps it would be go from the gun. We started well and the pace was up. first 2 laps everyone was finding thier place. As expected being toward the front was the go coming into the hair pin turns and then out of the saddle and back up to speed. Downed a honey shot here.
20 mins in we were all still together with the pace still fairly high. Several single man attacks were attempted but the wind and the chase closed them down. At the 30 min mark and 2 laps to go, I was not the best position towards the back considering the tight last turn into the sprint.
I moved up well over the 2nd last lap to be 8th wheel on the bell lap
Coming into the right hander towards the finish I was now 6th. With no regrets I moved to the left and sprinted. With 300 meteres out, I had gapped the field. Element of surprise here and deciding to back myself I was off.
Coming to the line however I started to suffer and had run out of gears. I was pipped from first to third from behind. 1/2 a bike length between 1st, 2nd 3rd. 56km/h HR 199 BPM
It is good to be back on the podium after breaking ribs at Christmas and my big bike accident on cyclelogical 3 months ago.
A big thanks to all the D3 team who entered and the encouragement and cheers as we went. Well done to Terrence for finishing in the bunch having not been riding much over the last few weeks.
See you next week.

Muzza B1 Race Report 09/07/2011
Well a very cold morning greeted Todd and Myself. So a group of 40 riders started the B1 race and the pace was high from the start. Todd moved to the front of the field and was watching for the break away. As the pace was around 42km/h the group wanted to stay together. I was very happy with that, because I was always looking for the biggest rider I could find so I could hide and stay warm. The 20min mark came quickly and I moved to the front to make sure I was not dropped before the Prime. I found myself in 10th wheel on the prime lap, but I was not close enough to push for a place so I just followed wheels and stayed safe. After the prime the sun started to warm us up, and the speed increased to 50km/h in the middle of the race, which stopped the posibilty of break aways and the bunch stayed together for the rest of the race. On the final 3 laps both Tood and I moved up to the front to get in the mix. On the last corner the rider Todd was following hit his pedals and almost came down so this slowed many people down. It was good that no one was hurt. I was luckly to be in 15th wheel, and was not impacted by this. I saw no sense in sprinting for 14th place so I held my position and came 15th.
Personally this race was a big improvement for me, last week in B I came 34th in 40 riders and was with a group that was not keen to chase and work hard. This week I pushed to stay at the front and finished the race strong.
hope to see you all in training,

adam clark

Le tour

<img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgd9yQND8fj6oZuEcITg2wnHJ3SZ5lCfR-d9PQMmyNlWWXMbxFBbKP7474CaAZqBG5kVcJAxYC69sOim6GbHTqg-DRhSV3wLpTBHq2rjT_FlcdvkJ0DaItOu1TRn11DDg7pVW08oAi6QEpQ/s320/photo+1-700109.JPG" In first half of the race I did some work up front with a few others working well to keep ther pace solid, resulting in the bunch being strung out in paceline for most of race. I gave the prime away early with four guys racing for it, went to front and pulled the group through fast trying to drop those who contested the prime (they all got back on unfortunately). More efforts in second half, a few others attacking here and there to keep things interesting but nothing got away. Pace remained solid until the sprint, a bit of foxing by some on the front with two corners to go which was good to see. A few guys wound it up on second last straight quite early and I missed the first group, got on back of another chaser and made contact going into last corner. Got in line with 2nd place finished with 100m to go but he accelerated away as my legs died and I was passed with 10m to go to take fourth place. Didn't have the legs for the final sprint as I expended too much working during the race, but very happy with my effort. A good fun race with lots of inidividuals working hard together. I'm enjoyING racing more now feeling like I am making the pace rather than hanging on, racing smarter and learning lots about race tactics with some consistent results.

Results:

+ 4th - Mick McKean

Post by Mick McKean

Avanti Classic

Well it's that time of the year again. Driving out to Lowood for my third Avanti I was really hoping my car might break down or I'd forgotten my shoes or maybe my bike and at least I would have a good excuse to go home.

The great thing about this race, in any given year, anyone out of the 170 or so riders has the opportunity to win and take home the cash, as long as the handicap gods are smiling on you. The only drawback is you've actually got to finish.

The handicapper did a fine job this year if I must say so myself and had me 20 mins ahead of the scratch group. Conditions were good and after dropping a few of our group early we caught up with the lead bunch on top of the hill after the dam on the first lap. 30k's into it a bunch from group 7 flew past and it was a good opportunity to jump on.

Starting the second lap the group was working well together with about 20 or so riders. There was a moment; however, as I rode past my car where I thought I could peel off and jump in the car and no one would notice.

I felt the second lap was pretty quick (for me anyway) and I just focused on doing turns and conserving energy although not necessarily at the same time. With 15k's to go, we heard we were about 8 min ahead of the next bunch so as long as I didn't stop or get a puncture there was a good chance of a top 20 finish.

Heading into the sprint, my mind was willing but the legs........ were stuffed. Finished 9th overall and as per usual there was no room on the podium.

Good to see the team was well represented with Dave Crosswell, Sam Wood, Dave Melville, Adam Allen and Adam Simonelli.

Eudlo Road Race Report 26/6

Hey Team,

The Sunshine Coast was not living up to its name, with cool wind, and light rain greeting the cyclists today, well it could be much worse. My race preparation did not start well, after only arriving to start line 30min before, I realised that I forgot my wallet (and my licence). But the organisers were understanding and still let me race. Thank you to my dad who gave me some money to enter the race. So both A grade and B grade (which I was in) started together and 50 kms of hills at Eudlo awaited us (3 laps and 1 Wall).

So the race started, and on the first hill and all of A grade attacked and was never to be seen again for the rest of the race. I felt inspired and decided to try a small attack on the second hill (still on the first lap) to see who was keen. So one of the Mainline riders grabbed my Jersey and hold me back. He said "don't attack this lap, its too early" he had a point but it still made me mad. Then for the rest of the lap I stayed behind him and let him do all the work on the front. The sun came out and started warming us up, and drying out the road which was very welcome.

So on the second lap on the first hill I attacked harder and was able to break him, and set up a 3 man break away. Both were Sunshine coast riders, and they have raced at the track before, so they knew not to go to hard too early. They were very knowledgeable and helped with setting the tempo, and calling the places to work hard in. We worked hard, and worked well together for the two remaining laps.

The finish line was coming up fast and all we had was a 17% 400m climb. Well it was a slow sprint finish, but I was able to out climb the other two riders and win by 1m. With the win I was able to pay my dad back for the entry fee, and keep some for myself.

I hope all had a safe and enjoyable weekend.

adam clark
