The bassist for the American indie rock band Kings of Leon Jared Followill has popped the question to his girlfriend Martha Patterson with a four carat diamond blinder. I do not know which one I would be more thrilled about if I was in her shoes. No more of the troubled world of dating and a huge sparkler on my finger? Some people have all the luck. The pair has been dating each other since January 2012. This quite a short period of time for an engagement some might say. Previous to this relationship the rocker had been linked to dating actress Ashley Greene of Twilight Saga film franchise fame. The couple’s rep told this exclusive story to the US major tabloid magazine PEOPLE.

Jared is the last of his fellow band mates to walk down the aisle, settle down and begin to add to their already large family. Nathan Followill, brother of the bassist got hitched to Jessie Baylin way back in November 2009. Lead singer Caleb married Lily Aldridge in May 2011 and are awaiting the arrival of their first born child in the upcoming summer months.

She had been seen meeting with Hollywood legend Woody Allen. Perhaps she is to replace Scarlett Johansson as muse to her dynamic director/actor? Though what I do not understand is if they are trying to keep a low profile why are they out and about? I know they should be allowed to roam free as they wish but if you are trying to keep a relationship secret, do not go dating in Tinsel-town.
