If you are a woman who dates, regardless of your age, you need to know about date rape. Even if you don’t think you are a candidate to be a victim, you should know the facts.

Date rape occurs across all generations, and can affect anyone who is not prepared or that doesn't know what signs to look for to prevent it from happening. Knowledge is the best key to protecting yourself, and those that you love.

Rape is defined as the unwanted and non-consensual sexual advances of a man on a woman, usually involving intercourse. The difference between rape and date rape is that a rape can occur anywhere, anytime, by anyone – whether an acquaintance or an unknown attacker. What we are talking about occurs directly after a woman goes on a date with a man, whom she obviously knows. He may think of it as payment for the date or that she asked for it since she had kissed him earlier. Neither of which is an excuse for this to happen. It can quite often take place at the victim or the attacker’s residence or college dorm room.

Some facts to keep in mind about rape that may surprise you include:

1) Of all the rapes that happen in the United States, over 57% happen after a date.

Sexual intercourse is not repayment for a date, no matter what a man tries to tell you. If you do not want sex after a date, he cannot force you to. Any instance where he does is rape and should be reported to the authorities.

2) More than half of all attacks – 51.8% - take place after midnight.

This seems logical since most dates happen at night after work or on a weekend night. After a night of dinner and dancing or a movie, it is usually late. Roommates or neighbors may be asleep since it is late, thus taking away any assistance to the victim.

3) 16% happen with two or more attackers present.

Often times when dating is involved, so is alcohol. Alcohol can give people additional courage or make them incredibly stupid. Sometimes alcohol makes men act in a “group frenzy” which eggs them on to do stupid things, like force a sexual encounter. Alcohol isn’t an excuse to let a date rape go unpunished, either, whether you were drinking too or not. No means no.

4) Of every 100 women on college campuses, 3.5 will be raped each year.

College campuses have the highest concentration of young and single people, therefore making their numbers higher than the national average. Campus security has special precautions in place such as cameras on buildings, phones set up along walkways and escort services available to women to prevent sexual assaults from happening.

While date rape often occurs on college campuses, it can also happen in any city or town to women who are past, or even too young, for college. Any woman who goes on a date may be a target for a date rape. Many women are unsuspecting because they trust the person they are dating, or else they wouldn’t be dating them. And just because it happened after a date where you willingly spent time with this person does not mean you cannot press charges against them.

If you have been a victim of date rape and didn’t report it to the authorities, you can still get emotional help. Often, the feelings of guilt and remorse by the victim keep the crime from being reported, but these feelings can get worse over time. I know that some of this may sound hard but unfortunately it is the truth. The person with the drug problem has to want your help. You can’t force someone to do something that they don’t want to do.

If the person that you are dating does want help to overcome their drug addiction, then the next step to take is to find a professional to help them with it. There is only so much that you can do without professional help and with drug addicts, they will definitely need the added help of someone who deals with this type of problem on a daily basis. Dating a single dad is going to mean dating the kids sooner or later. If you see him as a great dad he is going to have to balance where to fit you into his life and the life of the kids. You can certainly have some influence on that and you should have. It is your life.

Here are 5 tips for dating a single dad that will make it more enjoyable for you, him, and the kids.

1. You are not a parent to his kids yet. Depending on how long you have dated you really have no voice in how he raises his kids. You do have the right, though, to expect to be treated with respect from his kids. If you are new to the relationship you should wait to even meet his kids until you have dated for a while. No sense getting everyone all excited for what may be nothing.

2. If you know the kids mom you may as well face the fact that you are now the new women replacing the old one. You are going to hear mostly one side of what went wrong, his side. Your job is not to play mediator. If you are around the kids do not take sides or put down their mom. When your around the single dad you can be as supportive as you want to, but do not be afraid to tell him to put a lid on it if you get tired of listening about what's her name.

3. If you have an opinion on something then feel free to express it to him, just not express it to his kids. It is always a good idea to keep communication open in an honest and straight forward manner.

4. Be nice to the kids. If you see yourself marrying their dad the better your relationship with them the better your relationship will be with him. You do not have to be their friend, but you can listen to what they say and be nice to them.

5. If you feel you are getting the short end of the stick attention wise let him know. This is best discussed in private. You have a right to feel equal the longer you date. Many times he will not even be aware of how you feel unless you tell him.

6. Don't sleep over at his house with the kids present until you are engaged to be married. This is an example you are setting and it puts him in a tough place as well.

Dating Abuse & Dangerous Relationships

Most people tend to associate abuse within a relationship with just physical violence, but for many it’s far far worse than that.

A lot of daters suffer not just violent behaviour from their partner but also have their spirit crushed with verbal threats, manipulation and control.

Most potentially dangerous partners will have a pattern of behavior that makes the abuse somewhat predictable and it’s important to be aware of these patterns early so you can stop problems later down the line.

These people will be insanely jealous and possessive. They want to control every aspect of someones life from who they are with to where they’ll be. They may even control finances and only give a monthly allowance to monitor spending.

This jealousy will very often extend to friends and even family members. In their mind they believe they should be the number one priority.

A lot of abusers can actually be very loving, caring and compassionate in private, but while in the company of others, in almost a Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde type fashion, they will insult their partner, call them names and make hurtful jokes and remarks. The partner is also blamed for any failures and shortcomings.

Even their loss of temper or verbal belittling will somehow come back to being someone else's fault. Ever heard someone say - "You brought it out of him!"

Abusive men are also typically very selfish in the bedroom and will often force themselves on women sexually by guilting their girlfriend/wife into performing sexual acts that she doesn’t particularly want to try.

His outbursts may involve hitting or restraint in some manner, but they almost always include verbal abuse or temper tantrums. These tantrums can involve random objects being thrown, punched, or kicked and will often involve intentionally destroying something of particular sentimental value. They will also make the occasional threat of bodily harm or ‘going out and finding someone else'.

Most studies indicate that after verbal or physical abuse men will have a ready made excuse for their behavior. Maybe he will repeatedly state that it’s what he grew up with as a child, his father was the same to his mother, it’s all he knew and you end up sympathizing for him.

Maybe he will blame drugs or alcohol for his erratic behavior. It may be his work or the fact that he didn’t feel good, perhaps there was lingering stress, anxiety and depression.

They will often beg for another chance and swear no similar incident will happen again and, if given this opportunity, that is where the loop starts.

It is strongly suggested that women in this kind of a tumultuous relationship remove themselves from the picture as soon as possible, before they are physically hurt or emotionally scarred anymore.

Very few women actually take heed to these dating tips when in abusive relationships. In fact, random surveys throughout the past five years seem to indicate that many women see this type of behavior as the norm.

Even more alarmingly, one out of five teen girls aged 14-18 claim to have been hit or verbally assaulted in some manner by a boyfriend.

Worse yet, they don’t talk much about it, not because they are afraid but because they don’t think it’s that much of a big deal.

This means that many young women don’t even recognize the red flags and actually expect this behavior to the point where they view it as normal.

Another problem with many young people is the fact that they have witnessed similar behaviour in their home life, and are simply carrying on the tradition.

Counseling or group therapy may help the abuser recognize their problem and realize the negative impact it has had on their life. Chances are they have lost a previous relationship due to many of the same things you are tolerating.

If they are unwilling to get the necessary help, however, it’s just as much of a slap in the face as their abuse.

How to act on the first date

"How should I act on the first date? What should we talk about? How do you keep the conversation interesting?"

These are all questions that I get asked often in one way or another, and in this dating tip I'd like to address this topic.

***MY COMMENTS***

The first thing to remember when you're meeting up with a girl for "a date" is that it's NOT an INTERVIEW.

You're not applying for a job (and neither is she), so don't act like it.

It's so funny to me when I sit down in a restaurant and I hear a couple that's obviously out on their first date... and the guy has no idea what to do.

It sounds like this:

"So, did you grow up around here?"

"Where did you go to school?"

"Do you have brothers and sisters?"

"What kinds of things do you like to do for fun?"

Painful.

Why is it that people tend to act like they're on job interviews when they go out on dates?

It's just such the not-right thing to do.

I mean, no wonder women sit around with each other and complain about how hard it is to find an interesting guy in this world.

Here's a good rule of thumb:

ONLY ASK QUESTIONS OR TALK ABOUT COMMON, BORING, PREDICTABLE TOPICS LIKE SCHOOL, WORK AND FAMILY IF YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY RUN OUT OF ALL OTHER OPTIONS.

And why is this?

Good question. And I'm glad you asked.

First, let's talk about WHY most guys allow the conversation to turn to these ultra-boring topics...

Most guys approach a first date from the perspective of "I don't want to screw this up".

In other words, they try to play it safe and not do anything or say anything that the girl might not like.

They try to present themselves as "nice guys" who love mom, have a good job, and are stable.

Somehow, guys have gotten the idea that if they act nice, buy dinner, and talk about the same old things that everyone else uses to bore women to tears that they might get lucky and score (or at least get a kiss and a second opportunity to buy dinner).

I don't know where this concept came from, but it's just not a very effective approach.

WOMEN AREN'T ATTRACTED TO THE SAME OLD SAME OLD, BORING, PREDICTABLE CONVERSATION.

Attraction happens when there is energy, spice, humor, mystery... COCKY AND FUNNY... and saucy.

So if you want to create ATTRACTION instead of BOREDOM,
you're going to have to learn a new way.

You're going to have to learn to talk about something else.

The trick to not talking about the "usual" things is to know how to make conversation INTERESTING.

Let me ask you, what are the most INTERESTING topics to humans in general?

Right - drama, violence, scandal, and comedy that is painful to one of the parties involved.

Here are a few good ideas for conversation that come to mind:

"So what's with The Osbournes being MTV's #1 show of all time? I guess people just can't get enough of dysfunctional family life... they have to watch it on TV too."

"I'm so bummed that J-Lo and Ben are on the rocks. They were so damn cute together. I was hoping that they'd have a daughter with perfect hair and a bedonka donk butt from birth."

"Have you tuned into this "Cheaters" TV show? Don't you just love it when they come storming into someone's house and catch the wife in bed with another guy on national TV?"

These topics will light up a conversation like nobody's business. And they create all kinds of opportunities to be cocky and funny while talking about the misfortunes and neurotic behavior of others.

The trick is that you must remember:

You're not there to impress her, and you're not on a job interview.

The more you act nervous, stilted, and uncomfortable...like you're trying to impress her and get her approval... and like you don't want to say anything that might make her disapprove of you, the less likely you are to trigger that all- important ATTRACTION inside of her.

And here's a real twist on this theme:

If SHE starts asking the "normal" questions about school, job, family, etc. this is a perfect opportunity to bust on her and say "What, is this a job interview?"

Or "Can't you think of something interesting to talk about? Please, spare me the pain of the usual school-job-family conversation. Let's save that until we're picking names for our kids."

Here are a few other good ideas for conversation:

1) History. Women love to hear stories about the history of places. If you're in an interesting part of town, tell her the story of how the area came to be named, or why the city was built where it is. And if the story involves a tale of love and/or scandal, all the better.

2) Anything superficial, classy, and basically meaningless. Try learning a little about fashion, this way you can make fun of it while acting like you know what you're talking about. "Didn't Madonna really screw up the fashion world with this whole over-the-top fake cowboy look thing?"

3) Comedy Psychological Analysis. Have fun by giving your wild perspective on others. "You know, I've been trying to figure out why so many people these days are going postal and shooting everyone. I think it might be all the NSYNC, Britney Spears, and Backstreet Boys on the radio." This one can be a lot of fun... be creative.

Do you see where I'm going with this?

If you want to keep her interest, then you have to be INTERESTING.

The old-fashioned act-like-you're-on-a-job interview rap just doesn't cut it.

Now, for some guys, the ideas that I've just talked about will make sense, but they won't come naturally.

That's OK. You may have to work on this for awhile, especially if you've spent the last 25 or so years doing the wrong thing.

Old Proverb: "No matter how far down the wrong road you've gone, TURN BACK."

So remember, attraction isn't a choice. And attraction doesn't make logical sense. If you want to create that magical "chemistry", then you're going to have to LEARN and PRACTICE it.

I get a lot of emails from guys who ask me what they should do, because they've met an UNUSUALLY attractive woman. It seems that most men intuitively guess that they need to do something SPECIAL with a REALLY hot woman...something different than they'd usually do.

If you are going to date BEAUTIFUL women, there are a few things that you should keep in mind.

First of all, they are still WOMEN.

So the concepts and techniques that you've learned from me will still apply.

But there are a few things that you will want to remember when you're dealing with the UNUSUALLY attractive women.

1) She's likely to be or have been a model, an actress, or a dancer (topless or otherwise).

When a woman goes through the experience of these professions, certain things occur like clockwork.

First of all, she's quickly realizes that these industries are all filled with sleazy, opportunistic men who are REALLY in it for the sex.

This provides a unique sort of education for a woman, as she gets to practice "playing against" some of the best "players" out there.

These men have often been in the industry for many years, and have learned and created specific techniques for manipulating women... and getting sex from them.

After just a few months or a year in the business, most women come out the other side with a different perspective on men.

And they come out SMARTER.

In other words...

THEY KNOW WHEN YOU'RE TELLING STORIES JUST TO GET SEX

One of these women also learns how to make a man feel INSTANTLY uncomfortable if she doesn't want to talk to him. It's a natural, normal defense mechanism, and beautiful women are usually very good at it.

If she has been a topless dancer, then you can bet on a couple of things... One, she's not going to tell you up front about it. Two, she's going to have some issues when it comes to connecting with other human beings on a "real" level. Dancers have to learn how to ACT like real people, while disconnecting their actual true selves from the interactions. It's usually not a good thing.

2) Beautiful women have more choices, but this often means that they're also bored.

Most guys assume that a really beautiful woman is only interested in tall, rich, handsome men.

Well, these things certainly don't hurt.

But guess what?

Just like anything else, the novelty wears off for beautiful women.

Sure, it's nice to be 19 years old and riding around in a Mercedes, going to dinner at nice places, etc.

But beautiful women are still people, and people get bored with things quickly.

It doesn't take long after you have everything you want... before you start wanting things just because you CAN'T HAVE THEM.

More on this in just a moment.

3) Beautiful women are used to being treated special because of their physical beauty, and not appreciated for their minds or talents.

Beauty creates distance.

The more beautiful a woman is (or makes herself with makeup, clothing, hairstyles, and other "enhancements") the more difficult it becomes for other humans to interact with her and communicate with her in a "normal" way.

When you start talking to a woman who has obviously spent many hours preparing herself, putting on makeup, choosing just the right outfit, doing her hair, and MOST IMPORTANTLY practicing that certain "attitude" that creates the air of untouchable beauty, YOU CAN FEEL IT.

Something is very different.

She knows it and you know it.

And she WANTS you to know it...

Beauty gives women power.

IT GIVES WOMEN POWER BECAUSE IT CAUSES MEN
TO "GIVE AWAY" THEIR POWER.

...so let's talk about what these things mean...and what to do about them...

How do you communicate to a model, actress or dancer that you're comfortable with them, and not intimidated by their job or beauty?

Right! Make fun of them!

If a woman says "I'm a model", say "Oh, like a parts model or something? What, do you have sexy toes?"

If she says "I'm an actress", say "Nice, so what you're telling me is that you're a waitress, but you
do some extra work on the side?"

If she's a topless dancer, say "How did you get this job? What, did you have to pay someone off?"

Joking around, busting on them, and teasing INSTANTLY communicates that you're NOT going to give them any special treatment for their "beauty job", and that, if anything, you see their job as an "average" thing to be doing.

Works like magic.

To address the issue of beautiful women having more opportunities to live "the good life" and be spoiled by men who have money, etc...

As I said, everything in life gets boring if you get too much of it.

Sooner or later, every guy in a suit and tie with a Mercedes starts to blend into the next. And all the food starts to taste the same at nice restaurants (beautiful women never order anything off the menu without changing SOMETHING anyway).

So what does a woman who has it all WANT?

SHE WANTS TO BE "CHALLENGED."

Here's a GREAT mindset to take with a woman who seems to be a little too used to "the good life"...

Just say "You know what? You're a spoiled BRAT."

That should get her attention.

Then follow up with "It's too bad you're not more of a normal, nice girl..."

The protests should be starting by this point...

"But I AM a nice girl..."

"Suuuure you are. Me too."

Are you with me?

The message is "Just because you're spoiled and snotty, don't think you're going to get special treatment from me. In fact, it's a problem."

This creates a HUGE challenge (which attractive women love), and sets you apart from all the other "boring" guys she's been out with lately.

Will some women stick their noses up in the air and laugh at you? Sure, it will happen once in awhile. Good. It's better sooner than later... and I mean that.

And finally, to deal with the fact that Beauty creates distance, you must be strong... you must remember that her beauty is a freak accident of nature (combined with the magic of hair and beauty products).

Best way to proceed? Don't mention or acknowledge her looks at all. Totally avoid the topic, and if she brings it up, just make fun of her.

This one idea alone, or ignoring her beauty and treating her like just another friend who you're comfortable with will have a MAJOR effect.

Sometimes women will get so shaken by this that they'll start acting NERVOUS. They'll wonder if they have eyeliner running down their face, or if something else is wrong.

Here's the deal: Women can tell INSTANTLY if you're affected by their beauty. If you are, they know that they're in control.

MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMEN WIND UP CRAVING ATTENTION.

They become so used to getting massive amounts of special attention that they HAVE to have it. It becomes part of life.

And when they meet a man that is interesting, charming, funny (AND COCKY!), they take note.

Is this everything? No, but it's a damn good start.

Oh, one more IMPORTANT thing.

I'd like you to think for a moment about what it's like when you see a REALLY beautiful woman walk by.

I'm talking about the kind of woman that you only see every few MONTHS or so... maybe once a year.

Think about how you stop, look again, keep looking...

And how it makes you feel inside.

Guess what?

To that unusually beautiful woman, most men seem the same. To her, men all blur together into a big mass of compliments, offers for dates, and attention.

But there is a type of guy that REALLY makes her stop, do a double take, and pay attention.

There is a type of guy that STANDS OUT... the kind of guy that comes along maybe every few months... or maybe only once a year.

The question I have for you is...

WILL YOU BE THAT GUY?

Or are you going to just be another one of the dozens and hundreds and thousands of guys that just stand and stare... or give away their power in hopes that this goddess will see fit to bless you with even a pinch of her attention?

Christian Dating Online: Worth Trying?

In this day and age, as people get more content at letting the internet play matchmaker, Christian dating online continues to gain acceptance and popularity. But is it worth trying?

The internet is one of the safest portals for meeting other people for dating or a serious relationship. And with online dating trends gravitating towards specialty and community-based dating, we see an increase in the number of sites catering to Christian online dating.

There are advantages to this phenomenon. Some of the advantages include:

1. Wide net: You can search thousands of profiles of people sharing the same faith. There's a vast Christian network that has varied interests, hobbies, likes and dislikes. The big number gives you a better chance of finding one that you like.

2. Christian dating online provides a very comfortable environment and- though you still must exercise caution and commonsense- is considered safe. The online dating community is a place where you can create lasting relationships for acquaintance, friendship, companionship, romance, and can even lead to a permanent commitment.

3. In a Christian online dating site, the center is spirituality. People here believe they have filtered out the dates with people who may not share the same set of values. If you are joining a Christian online dating site, you'll know what you can expect.

4. You can narrow the field even farther down to an even more specific faith such as Catholic, Latter Day Saints (Mormon), Seventh Day Adventists etc.

5. You can be specific as to the level of religious commitment, to match your own. To some people going to church every Sunday may be deemed "Christian" enough; for others it could be more or less.

Indeed, dating a stranger sharing your beliefs would be more reassuring than starting with somebody who does not share the same principles.

And as implied, the online society is Christ-centered. And by association, Christ is all pure love and kindness. If you join the group, this indicates you support Christian values and standards. Meeting the love of your life could be a possibility!

The Christian community now utilizes this current trend of communication to widen their reach and to create a fun-loving environment. Christian dating online has proved to be very effective for most people who participate with friendships and often blooms into serious relationships.

Internet Dating Scams: Don't Be a Victim

Russian Internet Dating Scams

The growing popularity of online dating coupled by the anonymity has led to an increase in Internet dating scams. It is terrible enough to rip an already lonely heart - but to rip the heart as well as owner’s bank account? Talk of extreme brutality, and yes, heartlessness.

Internet dating scams come in various forms and the perpetrators are always creating new ones. An obvious one is the scam dating site. This is simply a fly-by-night operation, out to sell as many memberships as possible and then disappear without offering service.

Such a scam site will almost certainly cost far less than a typical dating site, while promising to deliver similar offer better service. Well, if it seems too good to be true, it usually is.

A variation of scam dating sites is the pornographic site disguised as a dating site or, more often, an adult dating site. Usually, such a site will use images of attractive “members” to lure you in.

Some knowledgeable prostitutes have discovered that it is more profitable - and much safer – to post a profile on an adult dating site than to work the streets. Better still for the prostitute, she (and in some cases he) has a global market.

International Internet Dating Scams

But Internet dating scams begin to get more complex when they go international. The most common one is Russian mail-order bride scam. This one targets people from first world countries (the USA being prime target).

Most Russian Internet dating scams start with the man being contacted by an attractive young woman. Often, but not always, the man is much older than the woman. The scammer is counting on such a man being gullible due to being flattered by the thought of a young attractive woman showing interest in him.

After a few emails, the woman claims to be in love with the man, and wants to join him in his country. She requests money for a passport, visa, air ticket and traveling expenses (at the same time or in stages). She suggests wire money transfer or other irreversible means of sending out money.

Once the man sends the money, two things may happen. The woman might simply disappear. Or there might be a family “tragedy” for which she needs extra cash from the hapless man. She might also claim to be held an airport happen for various reasons. The objective is to milk as much money as possible out of the poor guy.

This type of scam is typically carried out by Russian men or syndicates who hire women (for very minimal fees) to use there profiles and pick the money up for them.

Unfortunately, this scam is also helped by attitudes and stereotypes. The perception of Russian women as desperate to leave their country is one example. So is the assumption that everybody wants to immigrate to the west, especially the USA.

Nigerian Internet Dating Scams

There is also the Nigerian (and lately Ghanaian) scam. Nigerian scams are a little harder to detect in that most con-artists are usually well-learned people who usually do their homework; and they can be unusually patient.

You get contacted by a “US citizen” working in foreign country. Once the contact is and some level of trust established, the scam artist asks you to cash money orders for him/her. The money orders are fraudulent and you are left to pay your bank of the amounts paid.

Sometimes the scammer is not after money. They are after shipping help, for goods bought with stolen credit cards.

Protecting Yourself

How do you protect yourself from these or other types of Internet scams? There are no guarantees, just as you don’t have a guarantee of not getting in an accident because you are a careful driver. But you can minimize the risk, or become a hard target (scammers are lazy people and will go for the easiest target).

1. For starters, sign up with a reputable dating site. A paid site is always safer as one is required to use a credit card, which can be traced back to the owner. Of course there is the possibility of someone using a stolen credit card, but the risk is minimal compared to a free site or chat room.

2. Beware of someone who claims to fall in love with you after just a few emails. Start by being skeptical.

3. Never send money to a stranger in another country. Heck, never send money to a stranger in your own country (duh!).

4. Do not give out personal details such as home address, phone number, bank account, real email, or credit card number. Do not even give out your real name until you are sure the person is for real, and certainly not after two or three emails.

5. Do not deposit a money order from your “date” in your bank account. If you do, wait a couple of weeks to make sure it’s not counterfeit. Better still, wait for the money order to clear before forwarding the money.

6. Ask for more than one photograph. A scam artist from, say Nigeria, would usually have a difficult time faking more than one photograph. Also, ask lots of specific questions. If you sense discomfort or vagueness on the other end, cut the relationship.

7. Follow your guts. If something feels wrong, it probably is. If it’s too good to be true, it usually is.

But how about the more obvious but actually less frequently discussed topic of verbal communication: how what we say and how we say it impacts on our lives and goals? That’s the subject we’re going to look at today. Except we’re going to a get a little more specific and delve into how a guy can make easy, fun conversation with a woman, that helps lead to attraction and sexual chemistry between the two of you.

Let’s first get a grasp on a few pieces of background information. First off, how do most men make conversation with a woman they’re attracted to? What do they do right, wrong or completely miss out from their talks with the opposite sex? The best way to answer these questions is simply to identify the mistakes the majority of men out there make – things every guy, for whatever reason, chooses to do when talking to a girl, that hinder – rather than help – his chances of hooking up with her.

Mistake #1: ASKING TOO MANY QUESTIONS. Lots of men worry that when they start talking to a girl, she won’t say much back. This outcome, standing there – suffering an awkward, embarrassing silence – is so much of a concern that they ask the girl question after question to avoid it. The reason they bombard her with questions is because they think that the best way of getting and keeping the girl talking is by giving her more and more opportunities to say something, no matter what the topic happens to be. Unfortunately, doing this sends out a very negative message. It actually shows that you’re nervous and would prefer her to do most of the talking, which often turns the woman off completely.

Mistake #2: NEVER SHUTTING UP. This is the opposite scenario to the one above, but happens for the same reason. Some men, scared that the girl they’re talking to will up and leave any second, choose to talk endlessly in an effort to keep their attention. Again, this is immediately obvious as a sign of social inexperience and nervousness.

Mistake #3: BORING HER TO DEATH. It’s not easy talking to a girl who’s beautiful, sexy and usually practically unattainable. So when a guy gets chatting to a girl he really likes, who’s hot and confident, he doesn’t want to mess it up – after all, it might not happen again for ages! So, in an attempt to limit the chance of saying something that might ruin the interaction and thus his chances with her, he subconsciously restricts the topics of conversation he brings up. He talks about work, the weather, sports, current affairs, perhaps bombards her with a few questions on those subjects…and generally doesn’t push the boat out much.

Okay, so they’re 3 of the worst mistakes a guy can make when talking to a girl he likes. So let’s flip the coin and look at what he SHOULD be doing.

Objective #1: PROGRESSIVE QUESTIONING. Choose what questions you ask the girl wisely. You don’t want to throw too many her way too quickly. If you do, you give her too much control over the conversation and don’t provide her with a challenge. So, use progressive questioning – ask her questions that she MUST give a detailed response to. Avoid Yes/No questions and instead quiz her on things that require emotion-packed responses. “Do you come her often?” is a terrible question. “What do you think this place could do to make it feel more lively and fun?” is much better, as it not only requires a more detailed reply than a simple “Yes” or “No,” it also probes the girl on what makes her feel good.

Objective #2: Don’t be afraid to let short pauses punctuate your conversation with a girl. Many men panic when they hear a silence and jump in with another question or statement to fill it. Don’t make the same mistake. A confident, dominant guy – the kind of man women love – isn’t afraid of little pauses, because they’re natural and harmless. He simply, waits a second or two, sips his drink, smiles and goes with the flow.

Objective #3: It’s okay to use common topics of conversation when you first get talking to a girl. But move away from the mundane stuff as quickly as you can and instead choose to tell engaging stories. Describe a great holiday you had, an amazing concert you recently went to…make it positive and interesting and you engage the girl’s emotions and make her want to tell YOU about her own good times. When this happens, instant rapport and sexual chemistry is born.

I'm going to reveal an important comfort-building technique I call "Boyfriending." In a nutshell, there's something you can do that's usually done ONLY by a woman's boyfriend.

If you do it too, it's a way of getting under a woman's radar and making her comfortable enough around you so that she'll be receptive to sex without making you wait.

You see, in order for a typical woman to have sex with a man, she must have feelings of comfort. It is not enough for her to simply feel attraction for the guy.

Let's say you meet a girl at a 5 PM happy hour. The two of you hit it off, having a great conversation. She's laughing. She's interested. You entrance her by telling her fascinating stories about your life. The two of you have good rapport.

Around 7:30, you get hungry and invite her to get something to eat. Dinner goes well too. Then dinner ends. Now what?

Around this time, a lot of guys get confused about how to advance the interaction forward. Clearly the goal is to get laid, but the roadmap is often muddled.

Usually the night ends with the woman saying something like, "I had great time meeting you. Call me. Bye!"

It's a behavior that's only done by people who are completely comfortable around each other. Certainly when you are in a relationship where you can brush sleep out of a woman's eye, you've long since passed the point where the two of you are comfortable having sex.

Catch my drift? You can use this as a psychological weapon to make the woman feel more comfortable around you.

In mid-conversation, tell her to hold still and close her eyes. Pretend there's sleep in her eye, and make her believe that you just brushed it off.

Later, after the two of you finish eating and leave the restaurant, again tell her to hold still. With your finger, brush off an imaginary piece of food from her lower lip.

The net result of the Boyfriending Technique is nuclear. First, it sub-communicates that the two of you are very comfortable around each other.

Second, it involves you touching her face, bringing your heads closer together and progressing towards a make out session.

Third, in the case of you touching her lower lip, you're in fact touching an erogenous zone. That's right... a woman's lower lip has a high concentration of nerve endings. Stimulating her lower lip makes her body release sex hormones.

Make the Boyfriending Technique a part of your dating arsenal, and you'll find more success than ever before. You may just be having sex within several hours instead of having to wait several months.
