I ran out of gas even though my gauge showed I had at least 30 miles left. However, a couple of miles out, my truck lurched forward and stopped. Unfortunately, it was on a busy two lane highway with cars going over 55 miles per hour. I called the police because I couldn’t fill the gas without standing on the highway which was a little over a hill; therefore, drivers couldn’t see me until they were almost too close.
