Okay, so they got married in Xenia, but I need to rank up in my Google search folks! Matt is an old college bud, but more so the best friend of my roommate, Ryan Kane. Ryan Kane is the ultimate best man! – He gifted them their wedding photography. I think that is STELLAR, and a real testament to the friendship between them. So glad I got to do this wedding. I had a blast with everyone, and made quite the spectacle of my speaking abilities in front of the gals. Sometimes I get really connected with my subjects and get on a roll when they are actually laughing at my off the cuff humor. But life, it seems, has an even better sense of humor by keeping me in check. It never fails that I will stumble over some words trying to speak to quickly, or saying three thoughts at once, resulting in classic fail phrases such as, “Take a sissy out!” Which apparently means “Sister, take a step out, [please]” Thank you for laughing with me and not at me.

BTW – if you are curious they were married at the Schindler Banquet Center on the Xenia Legacy Center campus in Xenia, Ohio.

I am always sad when I get to know a couple, have a great time with them, but because they didn’t realize I travel for weddings, I only get to do their engagement session. I take the blame for not making it easily known that I will travel for a wedding. I wish you guys the best and hope that we get together again soon!

Cincinnati Wedding Photographer Katherine + Eric

I got an envelope in the mail from Chiquita; yep the banana people. They must be thanking me for taking my daily regimen of potassium in their fantastic tasting bananas. No, the truth is that it had been a couple weeks since my meeting with Katherine and Eric that I forgot she worked for Chiquita! Anyhow, it is fun getting envelopes in the mail with the Chiquita Lady on them. Katherine and Eric have this beautiful English Bulldog, NAME. He was a wonderful subject and cooperated quite well. Some of his faces remind me of Spike from Looney Tunes fame. Hopefully we will see him again. The wedding and reception to follow are at TPC at Rivers Bend.

Annie and Phillip – I still love the story of how I ran into Annie at a dress shop in the Reading Bridal District. More on that story in their engagement post. As with all my couples, they have an incredible group of friends and family, who all did their part to make it an incredible day for them. Annie and Phillip exchanged vows at Blessed Sacrament Church in Ft. Mitchell Kentucky, and celebrated with friends and family at The Grand in Covington Kentucky

Erin + Unmesh Cincinnati Wedding Photography

I love all types of weddings. Big/small, lavish/quaint, over the top/subtle – because the main ingredients are the same, love and family. Brit + Luke – Cincinnati Wedding Photography

Brittany and Luke – What can I say other than – WHAT A BLAST! We had a beautiful day, snuck the groomsmen into the empty pool and had some incredible light for the girls. A touching ceremony and a killer reception. My new friend and fellow photog, Nick Daggy, shot this one with me and we had a lot of fun. Nothing against DJ’s, talented ones can keep the crowd dancing, but LIVE music is so. Much. Fun!! Great job to Stays in Vegas, incredible musicians! Definitely look them up for your reception!
