I use RoboForm to manage  website passwords and this week I found a little shortcut for helping me login to a site even quicker than I already do.

With the internet moving along at 500mph it seems nowadays every site you visit requires you to create a user account either before you can post comments, view content or socialise with other members.

You can now manage your Twitter follows by adding them to lists.   A great way to organise your followers, friends, work colleagues, hobby’s, businesses etc

Add them to a list.

Google have started testing this and from what I’ve read not everyone is seeing it.

That’s right Google’s home page fades in, don’t worry you are not going mad.

Basically the home page of Google is very minimal until you hoover the mouse over the page.  Once the mouse is in action the home page comes to life and the fade effect will bring all the usual links into play.

There’s not much I can write about this other than it’s a nice touch from Google! I recorded the effect for you all to see.

Google Webmaster Tools is a excellent way to track keywords, broken URL’s and much more activity on your site.  It’s a great free tool from Google to help you get simple data about how users are finding your site or linking to your site.  While it is not as advanced as Google Analytics it works slightly differently by giving you information about how Google Search Spiders crawl your site.

In this video I show how you can add a MemberGate site to Webmaster Tools but this is the same for any site although you will need to upload you own file to your site using an ftp program.

I redesigned my blog over the last couple of months and after I changed my mind a few times, I stumbled onto Thesis.  Like many of you I have downloaded hundreds of blog themes and if you are like me then you may find it hard to choose a design.

That’s when I found Thesis.  Thesis is by far the best Wordpress theme I’ve ever used and it is a little overwhelming at the start but it provides an extensive array of user feature allowing you to customize how your site looks in a matter of clicks.  This may seem a little restricted for some of you but if you are confident coding CSS then this theme is your blogging oyster.

This short video shows you what Posterous is and a quick tour of the Posterous control panel and features.

Posterous is a blog posting service which will automatically notify ALL of your social networking services.  All you have to do is send an email to your Posterous account and it updates the services you have setup within your Posterous account.

Yesterday I was testing a few features. I recorded a voice message on my iPhone, emailed it to my Posterous account and within minutes it was online converted into a player. You can listen here, this was also added automatically to my Twiter and various other accounts. Pretty neat considering all I had to do was email it.

Keep your Gmail account nice and secure after you watch this video.

You can never be too safe nowadays so apply this little trick to secure your Gmail account when using non-secure internet connections. If you travel and use wireless connection then this will be an advantage for you.

This is not new news but I thought I would make a short video showing how it’s done.

I‘ve been seeing lots of ‘Follow Me’ buttons around then web, some good, some not so good, some rubbish!

I wanted to have a clean looking button, nice and small so it could be placed anywhere on a site and still look fresh and fit with twitter colours.

Anyway I’ll make it easy for you to get yourself a free button.  Just the like the button I have on this site. OK, it’s not the best button but it looks fairly modern and fresh and it attracts clicks.

You have probably seen these videos flying round the internet.  I was actually surprised to see the videos about a week before all the gurus started emailing the video to everyone.  Must be the power of Twitter I suppose.

After seeing the videos it really changed the way I will look at future projects.  This can work for anyone in any business or life challenge, watch the video to see what I mean, I also created a FREE PDF you can download.
