David's TEP blog

Valentines is now the second Halloween

2014-02-14T15:45:00.001-08:00

A small avalanche of goodies hit my desk today.

Let the Practicum begin!

2014-01-28T08:41:00.001-08:00

Wow, that was a very fast four weeks. This program seems to accelerate as we move through it. Assignments are done, units are planned and I am good to go!

Only nine days left to go

2013-11-28T14:48:00.001-08:00

I can not believe how fast these weeks have flown by. Ski season, here I come!

Seems like half the time

2013-11-20T20:55:00.001-08:00

When I look at the calendar, I can see that we have the same amount of
time for our courses as we did in the summer and fall. Funny thing is,
it feels like we have only half the time we did then. Best to get that
homework cracking!

School Experience all wrapped up

2013-09-11T21:17:00.001-07:00

It seems like the last three days have gone by in one. I do not want to go back to Abbotsford, I want to stay with the kids.

Free scanning in the library

2013-09-04T16:53:00.000-07:00

Something I discovered this morning: the photocopiers in the library will scan documents and email them to you as a PDF for free. That's a neat feature.

I'm going to Agassiz!

2013-09-04T16:47:00.000-07:00

Got my placement today, and it's Kent Elementary in Agassiz. I'll be in a grade 5 class and I'm twitching to go!

Email, post and tweet!

2013-08-30T10:38:00.001-07:00

How awesome is it to be able to send an email that turns into a blog post that gets sent as a tweet? It's pretty awesome.

Week 4 done?

I think I have all my homework done before the weekend ... I think.

Fractal thought

Kathryn's slide show made me think of fractals:

I used this clip for my EDU 300 class presentation. The moment when the student realizes their power: priceless.

Looks like the 'mericans are cooking up a PLO like system as well:

Blog lesson day with Holly

2013-08-29T09:58:00.003-07:00

Working in a big room with all the TEPers. Holly is showing us all of the blogging that she has been doing.

I've been working on my Inquiry paper for Awneet, and I have been surprised to find how hard it is to not write a research paper; the training has run deep.
