Number of home sales as reported in the MLS of North Salt Lake Utah Real Estate for the month of August 2010 decreases 41.67 percent as prices of residential properties went up by 3.85 percent.

Last August 2009, there were around 24 residential properties sold with an original list price of $232,450 and a median sold price of $225,000. In the same month this year, sold residential properties were only 14 with an original list price of $255,995 and a median sold price of $234,000.

Median dollar per square foot price of residential properties went sold in August this year was $105.48. Half of these properties sold were bigger than 2,249. The average of these properties sold comprises of four bedrooms and three baths.

North Salt Lake active listings in the market as of the moment were 168 from 174 listings last month.

During July this year, 13 properties were sold in North Salt Lake Utah Real Estate which is a decrease of 61.76 percent when compared to July of 2009 total properties sold of 34.

The March 2010 market statistics are in for North Salt Lake Utah. There were a total of 13 homes went sold during March this year compared to March 2009 with a total of 14 homes sold. Year over year home sales decrease by 7.14 percent.

Number of homes went sold during February 2009 totaled 20 while in February this year there were only 9 homes totaled sold. Real Estate North Salt Lake Utah MLS has just released their market statistics for 2009. As number of homes sold continued to increase, the median price and average price for sold homes went down. The increased in the number of sold homes was most likely due to the tax credit law for first time home buyers where they are taking advantage of. In addition, more and more lower priced homes were sold last year.

The number of homes went sold last year were 260 whereas in 2008 there were only 240 sold homes. The median price last year for all the sold homes was nearly $217,000 and the median price in 2008 was $230,000. North Salt Lake average price last year was $252,441 from $301,554 in 2008.
