So X-men 1st class was awesome. McAvoy actually manage to make ProfX look like a cheeky genius geek.haha. Can't help laughing when he picked up girls in bar.....heterochromia...blablabla.haha

short but funny. One of the highlights of the mvie. =p

Kevin Bacon as the badguy Shaw. unfortunately, there's no scene where he gets to show his owh-so-powerful power. he absorbs energy ...nuclear energy too mind you, and fires back at ya. so that was a bit of a let down i guess. i mean, he gets frozen by prof x and then magneto slowly passes a coin through his brain....so he dies sgt senang. jahatkan magneto, but that guy fassbender makes me love magneto more. how did that happen actually.haha.

First day of methadone week. All went smoothly. Simple work. I'd be bored to death if i get posted there after prp year. Anyway, nothing much bout it. Just dispensing methadone to the patient according to their dose and A LOT of recording.

Had quite a scary moment this morning though when the senior in charge went to get some breakfast and i was all alone when suddenly skali 5 orang patient datang for their daily dose of methadone. All 5 were in a hurry for their 'syrup'.....and i was "tunggu kejap ye encik" and they were " sorang je ke?" and i said to myself "nak bitau ke aku sorang2 jage methadone ni" and another one said "eh dik, saye datang dulu...asal buat dia punyer dulu?".....and the door wasn't lock. basically...i do not want to stay alone jage methadone!

I did my med check up this morning (hehe...lambatnyer buat =P ). Still haven't completed it yet tough coz had to make an appointment for the x-ray first which is wayyyy lambat lagi, another two weeks. Ish.....but free, so haha....never mind.
Had trouble with the drug test sample.tsktsk.....dehydratedla.....mane cukup air dlm badan pose2 ni. Malu jek.....had to go to the loo twice. Telan air liur byk2. Haha =p

I have never liked musical drama/movie.Highschool musical....hated it, no offence to those who worships it. hehe. But Glee..is one different kind of musical series. Every time there's a singing part in each episode, my body would move to the beat and their ballad would tug at my heart.

To think that i'd considered selling my D60. +_+ (even listing it up on ebay!)How could you dayah!Ish..ish.. Thank god nobody bid on it- well, there was a bid of 411pound but i set my reserve price to 500pounds(d60 + 18-55mm + 24-120mm lenses), i know..greedy little me.

So,in the end the camera ended up not being sold. Sure, you're not the most super-talented person in the world when it comes to photography....but that's no reason to quit. No..no.

The moon is at its brightest and biggest tonight and tomorrows it seem, plus Mars can be seen too. Apparently Mar's in a position quite close to earth right now, the last encounter was in 2007.

The moon IS bright tonight, and the sky is clear with pretty stars twinkling2. Can even see the moons surface a bit using my d60.Haha.
It's too cold here to sit outside at night. *shivers*

Owh...i miss star gazing.

3 idiots.A veryveryVERY funny movie. Anyone in need of a 3 hour de-stress laugh out loud session....should watch this movie. It's been awhile since i last saw i Hindi movie. Quite awhile...
Basically the movie is about three guys remeniscing about Uni days while searching for their long lost friend who they haven't seen in 5 years, Rancho. This Rancho dude is your normal movie type- extraordinary guy who defies what other people do-have his own logical ways and ideas- you know, the main actor type, but the way he does thing and think differently is hilarious. There was this once scene where he and his friends came in late for an exam paper and when they finish, they went to submit it. But the examiner didn't want to take their paper coz they came in late...so....

examiner: you three came in late. i cannot accept

rancho: you know who we are?

examiner: i don't care who you are. Even if you're the prime minister's son..i won't accept

rancho: do you KNOW who we are...do you know our ID?

examiner still being stubborn: i don't care!

Rancho put their papers on the table and shuffled the pile of exam paper in front the examiner and ran.

Hahaha.....smart one.

Sit by the window when snow falls...see those tiny and occasionally large flakes swirling in the air up above dropping down to earth...it completely makes your mind empty. that's how i feel.hehe. stress therapy free of charge.

Christmas, boxing day, holiday.....whizzed by.sigh...
Spain was wonderful. Barcelona i think is much more livelier than Paris. Hey, even their language is. Which one do you think brightens up your day Olla! or Bonjour! The latter is too chique, sophisticated i think.heheh. Just my two cents.

Andalucia was marvellous. The great monuments, palaces, mosque that was built by the Islamic empayer that once ruled Spain, words cannot described their beauty neither can pictures capture their splendour [ok, i probably still don't have the talent =\ ]. Walking through the Alhambra, the fortress of the Nasrids Sultan in Granada and the once great Cordova Mezquita that could hold hundreds of jemaahs [now turned into a cathedral], my heart did feel a wee bit sad. How could we have lost all of that.
Simple, like all great civilisation at the height of its glory, overly immersed in wealth and idleness, they forgot to maintain their strength. That, coupled with power struggle, rivalry, deceit and provocations....lead to the downfall of the empayer.
You've got to admire their workmanship, the calligraphic Al-Quran verses, geometrical designs. Not one single tile design in the Alhambra was repeated when once used. They all look geometrically the same but on close inspection, you could see that each piece was different. The palace was design with tranquility in mind; ponds and fountains with beautiful gardens. Wonder how it feels to live there, walk in its gardens and patio. ^_^

And i climbed a mountain yesterday.Ben Lomond,all 700+metres high (it's 900+ metres high but the team leader said if you wanna go up till the summit you're gonna have to pick up your pace coz we're running out of time....so another 200metres in 45minutes plus much more steeper paths,if not you can start heading down back) I actually thought at 1st the trip was hiking through the Lomond National Forest.Haha. Half way through the hike and when the land got steeper and steeper only then did i figure out "Hey,i'm hiking up the mountain.In my jeans!" The weather didn't help too. If it wasn't windy it was foggy and raining. It was so cold my ears were painful.

But in the end i felt good, i did manage to climb all the way up,sadly didn't finish the climb but 700metres up is still something. hehe.thanks to yana n devi who secretly withheld from me the actual hiking trail,up the mountain and not through the forest. if i knew it was actually going up, i wouldn't have gone i guess.

Plus mingling around with strangers alone,by myself can prove to be harder than i thought it would be.

Well, Year 4 has started and this year it's full of research projects and workshops and essays and did i mention practically 2 days of lecture each week (for me that is).Woopwoop.haha.

Autumn is ending too and i haven't taken any autumn photos...sigh. And next thing i know, it's already entering winter, which means 6 month of early sunsets and long seemingly endless night. My bio clock has gone bonkers. It seems that the body does get affected by lights. It's only 8pm and it's already telling me to sleep. Huish.

But even with 5 days of weekends...yes 5, i've been lazying around doing every other thing except reading literatures and doing the pharmaceutical presentation. It's hard to do those things when streaming your favourite AND new series plus new movies takes only half a minute. Okay, i'm going to be a good girl and pass this link to other people so i won't be the only one hooked onto it. Haha.

i walk in calm and steady...came out a nervous wreck. *head down* should learn how to not be nervous when face with silly situation like not seeing the methadone mixture-assuming it was already fully taken by other lab mates but was actually tucked away in the corner-and go on a methadone search around the lab...and whizzing through the other two prescriptions just coz wanna search for that silly mixture again.which in the end i did find...the same place where it should be. n both the lab assistant wasn't really helpful with one not saying anything and the other when i asked if they were going to re-stock the mixture said 'if it's not there, maybe you're not doing it right' (lagila menambahkan my jitters....i know i'm doing it right..i just want you to stock the damn mixture-i know it's my fault i didn't see the mixture in the first place, but you don't go and say you're not doing it right!).dayahdayah. look carefully next time eh.it'll cost you your repeat.

Please, ya Allah...let me pass this.cukup makan pun jadila. i don't think i can bear the thought of taking it in sem7

Muahahahaha......just what i need to clear up my owh-so-stressed-out mind, guess what....jengjengjeng got my new lens this morning.wuhuuu!! Nikkor 24-120mm yadayada....haha. It's 2nd hand, not really into that... but considering it's muchmuchMUCH more cheaper than a brand new one, 2nd hand pun bolehla. Hehe, uwwww.....can't wait till sem6's over. Go jalan2. Lepak2. Tido2. Streaming2. huuuuu.
Anyway, that's the 1st thing that made my day. After picking up the parcel with the lens from the post office, me and yana went to this shop with very2 cheap stationaries and verrry cute stuff ^_^. So i bought i couple of highlighters and post-it notes and paid.....and the total was lower than it actually was. I looked at the cashier, he smiled, i smiled...he asked 'want a bag with that?' I said 'Sure'. He packed my stuff, handed it to me and smiled. I smiled. Me and yana walked out.
Orang kasi bende free...ambik je la kan.haha.
