How to FIX MSwinsck.ocx Error

Windows XP/32 Bit 7/Vista Users can follow this procedure to fix this issue:

1. Check MSwinsck.ocx file in C:\Windows\System32
If you find the file in this folder then follow this procedure:
a. Go to Start-> Run-> CMD, Run the Command Prompt as Administrator.
b. Type this:
cd C:\Windows\System32
regsvr32 MSWINSCK.OCX
c. You should see a message saying "DllRegisterServer ... succeeded"

If you don't find the file in this folder then download it by clicking on this link, and save it in C:\Windows\System32 and then follow the same procedure.

Windows 64 Bit 7/Vista Users can follow this procedure to fix this issue:

1. Check MSwinsck.ocx file in C:\Windows\Syswow64
If you find the file in this folder then follow this procedure:
a. Go to Start-> Run-> CMD, Run the Command Prompt as Administrator.
b. Type this:
cd C:\Windows\Syswow64
