How to Password Protect your folder in Windows

Many of us want to hide or password-protect a file or folder due to some private and confidential file which we don't want to share with anyone.

So this tutorial or you can say the trick is for all those who don't know how to password-protect a file or folder in windows.

Protecting a folder with password in windows:

In this trick, I will show you how to password-protect a folder in windows.

Follow my steps:

1. First of all, create a new folder of any name which you want.

2. Open the folder and create a new text document in it.

3. Open the text document by double clicking on it and paste the following code:

4. In the above-given code, Replace PASSWORD_GOES_HERE with the password you want.

For example- 1234

5. Save the document file by clicking on save as. And then save your file with the name " locker.bat ",

and make sure to change Save as type: to All files (*.*)

6. After saving this file, a locker.bat file will appear, click on the locker file. A folder will appear named Private.

7. Then again click on locker.bat file. A command prompt will appear and ask you for wheater you want to lock the folder Y/N. To lock the folder type the letter y and hit enter. The private file will disappear.

8. To open the folder, click on the locker.bat, a popup window will appear asking for your Password you've previously typed replacing PASSWORD_GOES_HERE in the text document.

9. And That's it. You have password protect your folder.

You should update your Apple ios and OS X versions immediately

A Cisco researcher found the vulnerabilities of iOS, OS X, Watch OS and tvOS and said that these operating systems are vulnerable to malware that has been embedded in an image file.
The malware can run in the OS remaining undetected to the user, from which the attacker might have been able to remote code execution on the infected computer.

How can malware infect the OS?

Cisco researcher, Tyler Bohan said that the user could receive the malicious file via email, MMS. Infect, visiting a malicious Webpage can even infect the OS.The remote code execution vulnerabilities were found in the way Apple operating systems access image data using APIs - specifically, Apple Core Graphics API, Scene Kit, and Image I/O.

What types of image formats can exploit the vulnerabilities?

Image formats like, tiff, bmp, dae and Open EXR can be used to exploit the vulnerabilities. Image formats like tiff and bmp can be used to exploit ios,OS X, watchOS and tvOS while dae and Open EXR image format can only exploit OSX.
Fortunately, The Cupertino-based company fixed all the vulnerabilities of above-mentioned apple OS in the latest versions iOS 9.3.3, tvOS 9.2.2, watchOS 2.2.2, and OS X El Capitan v10.11.6.

Tyler Bohan said on the intelligence blog that these types of vulnerabilities are really dangerous as image file are very easy and excellent way for attacking because it can be distributed over the internet very easily. Or it can also send to be the victim very easily. So this vulnerability is very dangerous.

So if you are the user of the older versions, I will highly recommend you to upgrade your OS immediately as soon as possible to remain safe from this vulnerability.

Indians most fear of losing Internet connectivity while travelling

In the latest survey, conducted by web browser Opera, Opera company says that while travelling, the biggest fear of Indian is of losing Internet connectivity.
According to that survey, about 34.5 percent people of India frighten to be lost mobile networks while travelling and about 7 percent people afraid of high bills of Internet while roaming.

This survey revealed that the people are afraid of the lack of Internet connectivity while travelling in India.
The result shows that 34.5 percent of people are afraid of the lack of connectivity of the Internet in India while travelling while the other people (nearly 7 percent) are afraid of the high roaming bills.

“Internet connectivity is an important pre-requisite for travellers. People prefer being connected to the internet in order to share updates when on the move,” said Sunil Kamath, Vice President, South Asia and Southeast Asia, Opera.

In fact, about 7.9 percent of people in India are afraid of losing their phones while travelling.

The Opera's survey also showed that nearly 28.3 percent Indians use their mobile internet to find about the places they visited while 33 percent use their data to update daily happenings on the social networking sites.
The survey also revealed that about 13.8 percent people are willing to go without food for an entire day for a lag-free internet connection.
