So now they resort to even more lowly tactics? Ya..ya...of course they are not involved or they do not have any idea....

So far, reports regarding this aren't complete yet. According Malaysiakini, two molotov cocktails were thrown into her family house. Luckily no one was hurt in the incident.
It seems there is also a letter attached. The incident happened at around 2.55am.
Teresa Kok is scheduled to make a press conference at her family house this afternoon regarding this matter.

When dirty tactics fail, desperate tactics are being implemented.

Are we bloggers willing to take the risk now? To lose our balls or to lose our freedom?

While 'they' are lurking around, trying to see everything and waiting for a chance to pounce at the right moment,....bloggers on the other hand are starting to lose their balls(as you can see from 5xmom here..lol). Not just bloggers, but readers alike...all are beginning to lose hope. All the hype before 916 have gone, the hopes and hype are starting to diminish from the peoples mind.

It is already two days past 916, no news from DSAI. Instead, UMNO has started their preparations for an onslaught(from Malaysiakini). What is next DSAI? Or should I say when?
DSAI's credibility is falling faster than the KLSE stock market.

Bloggers are fearing for their own safety, lots of them stopped updating...some even deleted their past blog posts. The only ray of hope has sizzled off.

With the ISA on the lose...anyone and everyone can be rope in, are we willing to take that risk?

They are spying on our internet and keeping an eye the blogger community.

Most of the bloggers have been putting their life on the line with the hope of DSAI reigning power on 916.

Btw, the raw oil price has dropped below USD100/barrel but we do not see any announcement or any indication of the raw oil price in the news. Making a 'hush-hush' so that the people will not notice it and demand for a reduce in petrol price?

I am sick...the country is sick...we are all sick....I just wonder how long more can we survive or hand on to this..........

Candlelight Vigil at Raja Uda, Butterworth DAP Centre

As usual, I was there wayyyyy too early. Reached there about 7pm, went to 'New Town' an 'Old Town' wannabe type of coffeeshop.

At around 8.15pm, the DAP members arrived and started putting up the banner and making preparations for the night.

By 8.30pm, people have started to gather. About 9.00pm, estimated a crowd of 100 people had gathered there. Candles were handed out.
(My personal opinion, I felt DAP had poorly organized this event. DAP BM's last night event was organized much better. Even when the crowd had started to gather, the DAP members just kept among themselves. Hardly any interaction with the public gathered there.)

At 9.15pm, after waiting..and bored, DAP finally announced Penang's CM Lim Guan Eng will be here and he is on his way. By then the crowd have grown to almost 200 people.

9.30pm, CM Lim Guan Eng arrived. Started the event with signing the petition banner by CM Lim GE. After that he made a speech which lasted roughly half an hour. Estimated crowd was at 300-350 people.

The candlelight vigil ended at 10.10pm. After that, CM Lim GE held a press conference there(on a table set-up just on the shoplots walkway).

Finally after the press conference ended at about 10.30pm, the crowd decided to disperse off.

*CM Lim Guan Eng went for Dim Sum supper just around the area at Raja Uda after that. My younger brother met him while having his supper too and managed to get a personal photo shoot with CM Lim Guan Eng(darn! I damn jealous now).

Special statement by CM Lim Guan Eng for the civil servants / government sectors employee, the bonus for them will be paid out in two installments. The first installment will be paid on this 19th Sept. while the balance will be paid at the end of December.

CM Lim Guan Eng welcomes Zaid Ibrahim to join Pakatan Rakyat to fight against the abuse of ISA.

All in all, the candlelight vigil was poorly organized. Not much interaction with the public/crowd. There wasn't even any explanation regarding ISA or the purpose of the candlelight vigil being held for. The DAP members were too absorbed within themselves, even when CM Lim GE was giving the speech, there weren't much chanting or interaction or applause.
The DAP members should have encore the applause or chants...

On a personal note, I just realized today that loads and loads of people still have no idea what is ISA or what is going on in our beloved country. While standing there, few passerby came up to me(well, I did look like a reporter there..with all my gears, camera and stuffs). They asked about the candlelight vigil stuffs and its purpose. Most of them don't even have the slightest idea what ISA is! They don't know anything about the abuse of ISA, the detention of Teresa Kok or even the reporter being detained case!
I had a field day(night) just explaining these stuffs to them.

The DAP will be having candlelight vigils nationwide today to demonstrate their solidarity with YB Teresa Kok, Raja Petra Kamarudin, the Hindraf 5 and all those currently detained under the ISA. All are welcome to attend.

Candle will be provided, but on first come first basis only due to limited quantity available. You are most appreciated if you are able to bring your own candles.

Dress code is free, but black will be most suitable to show our solidarity for the ISA detainees.

Candlelight Vigil for ISA Detainees (DAP BM)

Arrived at DAP Chong Eng's centre at about 8pm. Since I was way too early(the event was scheduled at 9pm), I headed to the nearby foodcourt to have some drink first.

At about 8.30pm, Chong Eng arrived and they started hanging out the anti-ISA banner. They even have boxes of candles prepared to give out...(and I went to buy my own =.=").

8.45pm, the crowd has gathered and candles were lighted. A small crowd of estimated 50 people.

9.00pm, the crowd started to get bigger and begun to participate.

There were shouts of anti-ISA, free Teresa Kok, free RPK, free Hindraf 5, free all the ISA detainees. There were even sing-along sessions.

Estimated the crowd was at around 200 people.

And as scheduled, the candlelight vigil gathering ended at 10.00pm, but at 10.15pm the crowd has yet to fully disperse.

There were few rounds by the policemen to the area but left without any incident.

Some 500 people from different racial, religious and political backgrounds held a candlelight vigil in Georgetown to protest the government’s decision to invoke the Internal Security Act. - Malaysiakini

As reported by Malaysiakini, about 400-500 Penangites attended the candlelight vigil in Penang, which was held in front of Dewan Sri Pinang.

The Barisan Nasional Government has on the 12 September detained Member of Parliament for Seputeh, state assemblywoman for Kinrara as well the senior state executive councillor for Selangor, Sdri Teresa Kok without trial under the draconian Internal Security Act (ISA).

She has been accused of stirring up racial sentiments by instigating residents to petition against mosques in Kinrara and Kota Damansara to lower the volume of their speakers. Teresa has denied these allegations and both mosques have come out to deny these accusations. There is hence absolutely no basis for this arrest. She has already threatened to sue Dr Mohd Khir Toyo, the former Selangor Menteri Besar and Utusan Malaysia for making and publishing these unfounded allegations.

The arrest of Sdri Teresa Kok,Raja Petra Kamaruddin, the Hindraf 5 as well as others is hence arbitrary, high-handed and a mockery of democracy. By labelling Teresa and others as threats to national security without any shred of evidence is a travesty of justice and a gross violation of human rights.

The petitioners hence resolves that the BN government should not use draconian powers under the ISA to cling on to power and demands the immediate and unconditional release of Teresa, Raja Petra, the Hindraf 5 and other detainees. The latest according to The Star, DAP's Teresa Kok Seputeh MP and also assemblyman for Kinrara, was arrested at 11.20pm Friday. Deputy IGP Tan Sri Ismail Omar confirmed Kok's arrest.

It has started....dark time it is, silence we are being forced to.

Shocking, Breaking Update!

Latest turn of event, Sin Chew Daily journalist Tan Hoon Cheng has been arrested too under ISA at 8.30PM at her home in BM, Penang. Malaysiakini and The Star are the only two reporting it so far.

Family members said they were told that she would be taken to the Bandar Perda police station in Seberang Jaya.
Deputy IGP Tan Sri Ismail Omar confirmed Tan has been detained under Section 73 (1) of the Internal Security Act (ISA). The Star

But according to Malaysiakini and also some bloggers, she is believed to be taken to the Penang Police HQ in the island.

The recent turn of events are getting quite disturbing. DSAI, if you have the MPs, if you have completed all the necessary arrangements....please make a move quick, better still if immediately. Forget about the ideal date and stuffs.

According to Malaysiakini, Raja Petra @ RPK has been detained under the famous draconian act ISA! He was arrested at 1.10PM today.

First they lifted the ban on RPK's site Malaysia Today, then they arrest him under ISA. Guess RPK saw it coming when they lifted the ban on his site. As Malaysiakini wrote, RPK claims they have a 'hidden agenda' on lifting the ban.

What do this mean folks? What is Ahmad trying to prove with his press statement?
Either Ahmad and his 'gang' views and press statement does not represent UMNO...or does it? If it doesn't represent UMNO, then why is Ahmad and his 'gang' still walking around with no action against him? Why is our PM and TPM still has to discuss the appropriate action to be taken against him? He has spoken very clearly for all to hear and read. Where is the police?
If it does represent UMNO's view....then there is nothing much else to say.

Whats with Gerakan cutting ties with Penang UMNO? WTH do that mean? How do you cut that tie? Gerakan is in a coalition government with UMNO, regardless whether it is Penang UMNO or Johor UMNO...it is still UMNO. For heaven's sake, just leave the coalition...save whatever dignity your party has left. Every other party in the coalition can just disband the whole stupid coalition since 'they' do not need any other parties.
MCA please just cut the crap about not leaving the 'house' you built together. It ain't a house anymore(at least not for you). You were just sleeping on the sidewalk. So just buy a new 'house' or build a new one if you prefer.

The press conference by Ahmad was clearly done to create racial tensions. He has again and again emphasized on the racial sentiments in his statements. WTH with the 'tearing-up-the-photo-thingy'?
Even though I do not like KTK as our CM and booted him out of office, he is no matter what is still the ex-CM. We do not go tearing up our past PMs photo...or do we? Their action is worse than touts and gangsters. In the very least, gangsters have their excuse because mostly are lowly educated.

This isn't about Malay or Chinese or non-bumis as they would prefer to call the other races. If it was about races, chinese voters wouldn't have voted for PAS or malay nominated MP in PKR...malay voters wouldn't have voted for DAP or chinese nominated MP in PKR. The Rakyat has passed the racial boundary and has moved forward. All these racial issues are their own agenda being used as their last desperate resort.

Be it a Malay or Chinese or Indian or any race....or as we should be calling ourselves...Malaysians, do not fall into their trap to pit the races. If any disturbance were to occur, do not blame it onto the Malays...blame it on 'them'.

We, Malaysians have come so far....51 years.....we have advanced, we have matured. Do not lose it all just for some idiots trying to create havoc for their own personal gains and power frenzy.

Malaysiakini : No Sorry for You 'Pendatang'

First of all, sorry for the long silence...couldn't help it. Was busy helping my best buddy preparing for his wedding. LOL. 'Accident happened' and now he has to bring forward his wedding plan.

The Bukit Bendera Umno division chief, Datuk Ahmad Ismail is making a mockery out of everyone...TPM & PM included. So what is UMNO gonna do about it? All eyes and ears are eagerly waiting for the outcome/reaction from this.

According to Malaysiakini's report, Ahmad told Malaysiakini that he will not apologize for the uproar he caused by his statement. He added that he felt he did not make any wrong or mistake by his statement so there is no need for an apology.

He will be having a press conference this Saturday at the Penang UMNO building after an UMNO meeting which will be chaired by AAB there. Let us wait and see what will be the press conference about this time, and what will his statement be?

The most 'tick-off' thing made by Ahmad (at least for me) was how he replied towards the reporters regarding the media reporting him as avoiding the media/reporters.

"I did not ask them(reporters) to wait. So why are they accusing me of avoiding them?"

So AAB, NTR, UMNO, MCA, Gerakan....what is next? Ahmad just made a mockery of all of you and the rakyat too. It isn't just about the apology, even if Ahmad said sorry...his sorry will not be accepted.

AAB said Ahmad did not meant what he said, so what does this means now?
NTR, your sorry seems to be a wasted agenda.
UMNO, what are you gonna do about this? It doesn't matter whether it is his personal view or the party's view, Ahmad is the Bukit Bendera Umno division chief so that makes whatever he says or do accountable towards the party.
MCA & Gerakan, what you gonna do? You keep mum, the rakyat will blame you for keeping mum and as always being a 'dog' to UMNO. You voice up, the rakyat will still blame you...because the rakyat will just assume it is another show with no outcome.
The Police, where is the action? The Sedition Act 1948 does not apply to UMNO members?

My personal view, I feel UMNO & Ahmad is just making a show. Just think, if a member of a party gets out of line, goes against even the top leader in the party....no action taken against him? Must be a very patient and forgiving party. LOL.
All in all, Ahmad is just pissed off at Lim Guan Eng because he has been poking around his 'business deals' and his old files. Ahmad now has no more 'income'...he is a nobody now in Penang...of course he is pissed!

Anything less than a sack from his post and thrown out of UMNO will not be acceptable, anything less than a lock-up for his seditious and racial statement will not be acceptable, anything less than these will not be enough to cool down the 'pendatangs' boiling blood.

Sore losers, un-diplomatic, un-professional, blablabla..whatever you can think of to call our whole cabinet ministers and also the top 2 highest brass too.

Anwar was sworn in at 10.05am today as the Permatang Pauh MP. Opposition MPs gave a thumping of a time.
Anwar then took his seat as the Opposition Leader seated exactly on the opposite of PM.

Sepanggar MP Datuk Eric Enchin Majimbun from Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) and Minister in Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Nazri Abdul Aziz took the opportunity to congratulate Anwar on his win as they stood up to field the first query in the question and answer session.

Sometimes I wonder...how the hell did all these ministers even got elected? What do they think they are trying to prove or do?
'You are an opposition, so we dunwan fren you'...damnit, these are the so-called ministers and PM! But well, what can we expect from these *&%^.

Let's just sit back and watch the show. The 'movie' is reaching the climax point soon, will Anwar gather enough MPs to form a new government? Or will 'the-oh-so-powerful-one/two' able to create something fast enough to lock him up for good?

Permatang Pauh : The Final

What a night! Had dinner with my buddies at Seberang Jaya before we start our entourage towards Jalan Baru, the venue for the final Ceramah. All the big guns are expected to be there.

About 9pm we reached there....but the traffic over there was quite unbearable. The three to four lanes traffic was reduced to a mere single lane traffic. A huge crowd has already gathered.

The venue looked like a 'Pesta'/Carnival. Loads and loads of stalls selling all sorts of variety of stuffs ranging from clothing to CDs to foods.

PKR booth just right at the entrance of the venue.

The little pathway heading into the Ceramah venue. The pathway was totally congested, but luckily PKR's AMK/security did quite a splendid job diverting and controlling the traffic.

The weather wasn't very ideal, but nevertheless the crowd just keeps getting bigger. Some came prepared with umbrellas and raincoats, those came earlier had to just stand in the rain.

Some estimated the crowd to be around 50k, some say much more than that...
Regardless the exact figure, all I can say...the crowd was really huge! Rain was still pouring, some opted DIY shelter...like the guy with a cardbox as a shelter, mostly just find a plastic bag to cover their head. (Me on the other hand opted for the rain to fall onto my head and get my wholeself wet.)
Just right behind me was blogger 'Tukar Tiub'. He was busy snapping away pics and updating his blog through his mobile phone.

The last speech was by Anwar and it ended roughly about 11.35pm. He adviced all to get back early, get a good warm bath and sleep early so that all voters will be at the polling station early in the morning. The pics above are the aftermath of the Ceramah. We got stuck at the parking area for 1 hour before our car managed to move. Few cars were seen stuck in the muddy condition of the soil. Luckily we decided to use our friend's pick-up truck instead of my car. LOL.

As we head out of the Ceramah venue it was already 12.45am. Traffic along Jalan Baru heading towards Seberang Jaya/Butterworth was hardly moving at all. We decided to use a short cut through Pauh Jaya and head towards Permatang Pauh...alas...wrong decision.LOL! All roads were totally stagnant. Luckily though, we managed to turn around our car and headed towards Auto-City and use the highway to Seberang Jaya.
Since it was already 1am, our stomach was growling, and our throats felt dry. So we head over to Nasi Kandar Khaleel just beside Sunway Hotel.

Wrong choice!
As we sat there, we realised we had just entered a full BN/UMNO crowd. Luckily none of us were wearing any political party shirts. Hiakhiak. If I wasn't mistaken I think we saw Bung Mokhtar there too. No sign of KJ or C4 though.

Permatang Pauh : Free Business Loans?

Uncovered a new tactic by the 'ahem'.
During the weekend, Ng YY gave out RM200 cash to the elderly folks per person and 'reminded' them to vote for the 'right' party. Well yesterday, I found a new tactic.

Anyone ever heard of 'TEKUN Nasional'?
For those like me, it is a program setup by the 'ahem' for bumis only. 'TEKUN' stands for 'Tabung Ekonomi Kumpulan Usaha Niaga'.

Yupz, if you are a bumi and in need of cash for your business, you can apply for a loan from 'TEKUN Nasional' which of course the fund is allocated by the 'ahem'. This program has been around for quite some time(if I'm not mistaken, it was setup since 1994).
Well, thats a brief info for those who do not know wth is 'TEKUN'.

Now comes the interesting part. Since yesterday(and still continueing today), 'TEKUN' setup a booth at Permatang Pauh, located just beside the Petronas petrol station which is situated opposite the Polytechnic Seberang Prai. Those interested can head over there to check it out(checked out that booth just now, there is quite a crowd there).
The tactic being use is, any bumi wants some extra cash for business purposes(at least that is what they say)...they only need to head over there and fill up a form, then enclosed together with a photostate copy of your IC. Simple isn't it? Just that and you might get a loan sum ranging from RM3000-RM10000(and since it is a 'ahem' loan, you probably wouldn't even need to bother to pay back). Unluckily, as I said...'TEKUN' is a program for bumis only.....so I no chance lar.

BUT,...that is not all. Hold your horses first. There is just one requirement to apply this simple and fast cash loan. Pay a fee of RM15.
Processing fee? Nope.
Stamp Duty? Nope.
One time interest charge? Nope.

Member fee? YUPZ!
What membership? The membership to join into the 'ahem-ahem' political party lor. Yes you got it right, you have to join the party as a member first before you can get the cash loan.

Neat and clean tactic hor? If it was really that clean, it would have by now being used as a propaganda by them and would have been in the headlines of The Star, NST, RTMs, bla bla bla.

Went for a drive this morning, managed to capture some photos but nothing much really.
And as I promised earlier, here's some photos of the FRU camping site..LOL....wonder what type of disturbance are they expecting? Found a lost/patrolling 'Water Cannon FRU truck' too.

Police roadblocks are everywhere heading in and also going out of Permatang Pauh area. There was a police roadblock just right in front of the Penang Bird Park, there were like 20-50 policemen there.

Just what the hell are they expecting? Really...this is exaggerating the situation by the police(Didn't get any pics on that though...later kena drag out and pukul by them...).

FRU galores..

Caught this sign by BN right at the traffic light coming out from Sunway Hotel. The first thing I did when I read the sign was laugh...Come one lar,

And the latest news...

They government are back to their usual antics...threatening the Rakyat. None of them never do learn...PM with his usual flippity-floppity decisions, government with their threats and stuffs...and they expect us to trust them? Every single decisions and announcements they are making right now are making them lose votes towards them.
I wonder why Malaysiakini did not report on this statement?

Well, lets just wait for August 26th 2008....the showdown is just 2days away.
Btw, there will be a gathering tomorrow at Seberang Jaya, just behind the Shell petrol station(the field inside the housing area near the ex-makro). DAP will be going out full force for tomorrow's gathering starting from 7am. Woohoo,.I have a feeling those FRUs will be there waiting for us...LOL.

Petrol Price to be Reduced by RM0.15

Yupz...this is not a rumour but actual press release statement from our very own PM.
Can you really believe this guy? For the pass few days he has been insisting non-stop that the petrol price will not be adjusted anytime sooner than 1st September, but now suddenly as un/expected from his decision making style.....

First to report the breaking news was from Malaysiakini, and later followed by NST and The Star.

The price of RON97 petrol will be reduced by 15 sen to RM2.55 a litre from RM2.70, while RON92 would be 22 sen less at RM2.40, from RM2.62

So maybe after the election when they lose, petrol price will rise again back to Rm2.70/litre? He just never gets it? His flip-flop decision making is really getting way too ridiculous. Each and everytime he insisted on something, it is bound to be the other way around.

Just from this, I think we can make assumptions and judge for ourselves on his few recent statements. The Anwar-Saiful case...he insisted it isn't political motivated(The opposite?), ACA and the police are not being manipulated(uh-hu), bla..bla..bla...

Pssstt.... Wanna know the latest secret/info I just received?
Another exclusive only can be found here..hiak hiak.....Definitely won't be able to read this in Malaysiakini nor any other mainstream media like The Star/NST.

You know all those bikers/'Mat Rempit' creating havoc and being a nuisance recently around Permatang Pauh area? Just found out that they are actually being paid RM50 per bike to participate and go around Permatang Pauh creating havocs.

Yupz..it is totally true. My colleague staying around Permatang Pauh area joined the fray to get his free RM50(of course he did not join the Mat Rempit when they started their 'being-a-nuisance' journey around Permatang Pauh). Rm50 free wor, no need do anything wor...You don't want meh?

The best thing about it, they are even being escorted by their own so-called 'marshals'. Even police escorted them. This happened last night in front of the Seberang Perai Polytechnic in Permatang Pauh. They carried BN flags, revving their bikes insanely, shouting and screaming...jeering......all these are very civic? They have police permit for this even?
So, peaceful gatherings are dangerous and could shake the country's stability...these type of 'Mat Rempit' antics are alright? These stunts and publicities are very patrioctic?

Well, I don't have any pics yet for now...hehehe....Tonight after the Live Debate between CM Lim GE and ex-CM Koh TK(TV9 9pm), I'm gearing up and heading out to the street to try snap a few pics as proof.
Btw, FRU galores over at Pearl View Hotel. Most probably they rented their rooms there, will try get some pics on that too tonight.

[Part 1] Ceramah Perdana Merdekakan Negara : Taman Ciku, Permatang Pauh

Due to my hectic and busy schedule for the last few days, I was unable to update my blog. Anyway, I will now update the first part(Exclusively only available in my blog. Kakaka. You won't find it in Malaysiakini or the mainstream media).

I attended the 'Ceramah Perdana Merdekakan Negara' at Taman Ciku on the 18th August 2008 scheduled to be at 10pm. The Ceramah was held at DAP Chong Eng area. I was there quite early because the Ceramah was by multi speakers and not only by Anwar alone. I reached there around 8.30pm. The weather was just clearing up, and the rain stop just nicely in-time before the Ceramah began(It was raining cats and dogs the whole day, I was worried the Ceramah will be canceled).

The soil was muddy, the grass wet, all in all...the condition wasn't very nice. But none of these had stop the crowd from gathering there. There is even a PKR stall selling its flags, shirts, jackets and caps. The crowd was majority chinese, since Taman Ciku is chinese majority area. Young and old alike, they came by bikes and some by walking here with umbrella in hand.

The crowd wasn't as huge as other past Ceramah, maybe due to the weather...but nevertheless it was still an impressive number for a lousy weather and condition. And not to forget, they even prepared a projector so that everyone can get a nice view of the speaker!

Below are some of the photos I managed to capture that night.

Oh yeah, and there were some unexpected visitors too.
First a chopper came circling with its spotlight shining brightly down on the crowd, then it went circling around the area a few rounds before disappearing into the night.

*This was the best I can get by my cheap Camera. LOL.

Then just when Anwar started his Ceramah, a huge group of bikers/Mat Rempits(estimated to be around 50-100 bikes) was seen making a nuisance in the area. They were carrying BN and Gerakan flags, though majority or even maybe all are most probably UMNO supporters, not Gerakan. They left when none of the Ceramah crowd gave any respond to them, we just ignored them totally and enjoyed Anwar's Ceramah.
Sorry, no photos to support this though, they were too far off and dark for my cheap useless camera to pick them up.

All in all, the Ceramah went quite smoothly without any disturbance from other 'political parties' nor from the police.

No videos too...I only managed to record the sound using my handphone. Anyone wanna sponsor me a latest powerful videocam/camera/handphone? LOL. So because of my limited resources and gadgets(I don't own a SLR nor any hot-shoe, so all my night photos are captured using 'nightshot' mode so it looks all greeny).

Anyway, here is a few of the sound recording of the Ceramah I managed to record. The sound quality might be a wee bad, so bear with it lor....I poor mah.

My Personal Rants : Everything goes UP!

Alright, this post is purely for my own personal rants...don't like it, don't read it.

First of all, whoooo-hoooo...just created a widget..haha.
Now lets get into the stuffs that pisses me off.
Bloody @#^^%^$^$% prices, everything just shooted up. Tissue papers, napkins, milks, eggs, lotssssss of stuffs.

Went shopping last few days, my usual price for a pack of 4boxes of tissue papers just shot up from RM7-8 to RM10-11!!! Baby napkins, bought it (luckily) last week was priced at RM37-40(without promo) or RM31-33(when promo period)...now it shot up to RM50-52(without promo)!!! That is like an increase of RM10! Baby milk powder just went up another RM5..that is like Rm5 increase twice in a month period....diu.

How the hell are we(or maybe just me) should survive???!! My company gave me an increment of some bloody RM70 last month...RM70! That couldn't even cover the @##$^#$$#% fuel after it increased.

Went to change my car tyres....and as expected, it was increase by RM30...tmd.

Few days ago went to McD drive-thru to buy dinner....this was what happened:
"Wah, McD changed its menu sign...like this more nice and easier to read mah." talking to my wife.
"Eh,..something is different." I said.
"Ya, I think the price change liau." My wife replied.
"TMD..@@##$#^&$&$%.....the price increased again liau!" I shouted, but alas it was too late..we were already at the order booth.
Yupz...McD made another price increase in its menus.

To top things up, check my TNB bill for the month of July. My household average usage is 1000units(ok..ok...don't stare at the figure just yet. My house includes my little family and myself, my parents and my sibblings..so that's alot of people with lots of consumptions). The thing is, I calculated base on the units we used....the bill should total to about RM300 before TNB hiked up its charges, but after the price hike.....RM400+++ nearly RM500! That is difference of nearly RM200/month! As a result, now all have to cut down in air-con usage, TV usage, lights and fans.... better still if everyone just go shopping or 'lepaking' outside until midnight. Hehehe.

Ok, I'm feeling better now liau...so that's it for now bah. Btw, gratz to Chong Wei making it to the finals. At least now Malaysia has secured either a gold or silver medal. Looking forward to the final match tomorrow at 6.30pm.

Doggone Racial Politics

Sheeezz...Bloody racial politics, for the past week all there was in the news were racial politics. How backwards can a government get nowadays?!

I've been keeping mum for these few days because there wasn't any news nor article worth blogging about. It was either special rights this or sensitive issues that. The Star, NST or even Malaysiakini...all are the same, nothing else besides racial issues everywhere.

I have a brilliant suggestion, why don't we segregate the races like what the British did to us? Indians go back to estates, chinese can work in mines, malays back to padi fields/crops/fishing. I think it is a good idea what, since anyhow our economy is going down the slumps. Our industry area is collapsing, investors are running away, we got a leader who can't and don't know anything about economy nor politics, so going back to agriculture is a wise move mah. By segregating the races, there will be less confrontation too...no more street protests...no need to use ISA anymore.

Come one lar, racial sentiments and special privileges/rights no longer works nor exist anymore in governments around the world. Go watch soccer, everytime before a match starts there is a banner being brought out to the field stating 'No to Racism'. No wonder our soccer 'sedut'.

Politics are being manipulated into a racial politic, educations are being played and used into a racial propaganda machine, economy/investments are being controlled to be racial base....practically everything are racial base. I would love to see what is the slogan for this year's Merdeka.

Bloody government, blogging this post also already made me all heat up....even my sentences and grammars are out(i think). So much to bombard, so little allowed to write.

Bar Council 'Conversion to Islam' Forum - Best Response!

During the weekend, the only news was the issue and chaos created by the Bar Council's Forum 'Conversion to Islam'. The forum was supposed to be an informative forum discussion, but alas....as usual, anything touching the word Islam is considered sensitive and taboo here in Malaysia. So from an informative forum, it turned into a racial issue.

I wasn't interested in blogging about this issue since it has turned into a racial issue, but when I read the blog post from LKS's blog....I couldn't help but smile.

No, this ‘Babi’ will Not ‘Balik Cina’

I have just read the reports on the internet about the goings-on that led to the disruption and early closure of the public forum organised by the Bar Council on Conversion in Malaysia over the weekend. Apart from the other rather offensive remarks that were featured in the various reports that I read, I also chanced upon a rather curious revelation: Apparently during the commotion caused when some of the so-called ‘defenders of the faith’ had entered the room where the forum was being held, there were calls for a certain ‘Babi’ to ‘Balik Cina’.

Now I have checked and double-checked all the photos that are available on the internet and have seen no image that corresponds to the ‘Babi’ in question. Therefore for the sake of academic consistency and objectivity, I am compelled to ask the Bar Council this: Was there a pig in the auditorium where the forum was held? And if so, how could the Bar Council invite a pig to attend a forum that was open primarily for Malaysian citizens (who are overwhelmingly human, as identity papers and passports have not been issued to pigs or any other non-human species as far as I know)

Furthermore I need to ask how the demonstrators knew that the pig (if one was present) was of Chinese origin? Did it carry a Chinese passport, and if so, why was it in KL when the Olympic games were being held in Beijing and the world’s attention was focused there?

(*ed. I can only assume that this was a rather anti-social pig from China who had come to Malaysia to avoid the throngs of tourists who have overtaken Beijing, which would be a sensible thing that I would have done myself, so I confess to having sympathy with this mysterious invisible pig.)

Lest there be any offence to pigs from China, I would like to remind the demonstrators who made that remark that there are enough pigs in southeast asia and that pigs are, in fact, a native species in the region (including Malaysia). To ask this mysterious pig to ‘Balik Cina’ was therefore offensive to say the least, as it overlooks the fact that it could have been a local Malaysian pig and therefore has every right to be in Malaysia. Though what it was doing at the bar council’s forum is anyone’s guess.

Here are some categories of local pigs (genus: Sus, subfamily species: suinea (Latin)) that have shared our very same bumi for centuries:

In Malaysia we have the babi hutan, babirusa (genus: Babyrousa) and wild boar (genus: Sus Scrofa) that have been long-time residents of the peninsula.

In Indonesia, there are also many types of local pigs such as the Sulawesi Babirusa, the Warty pig of Sulawesi (genus: Sus Celebensis), the Timorese Warty Pig (Genus: Sus Timorensis) and the Javanese Warty hog (Genus: sus Verrocosus).

In Vietnam there is of course the Sus Bucculentus, otherwise known as the Indo-Chinese warty pig, while in the Philippines there is the local Sus Cebifrons that hails from the Visayas Islands.

So how dare some people go around making wild allegations about the alleged foreign citizenship and/or origins of a pig that may or may not have been present at the Bar Council forum? To assume the foreign identity and origin of an individual merely on the basis of appearance and behaviour would reek of the highest form of prejudice, and points only to the ignorance of those who simply do not know: PIGS are not foreign to Malaysia or Southeast Asia. They are as localised and normalised as Durians and Corruption in this country.
