Ok this month offically sucks!

As you know Ive been working on my Gambit sim for my X-Men series. Well I bought Bon Voyage the other day and it un-installed seasons. How and why I do not know. I tried just outright re-installing Seasons. Didnt work. So I backed up my Download and Saved sims folder then un-installed BV, re-installed Seasons, then re-installed BV. Because I was in a fustraited state of mind at the time I forgot to backup my Project folder. I lost everything I was working on. So I am going to have to start over.

Ok so I get over this fact and look on the brighter side. I can change this or that on Gambit ect...then my ATI vid card burns up. It still works but the screen is so distorted you cant see a damned thing. So luckily I have a backup card...but its an Nvid. I hate Nvid cards. I have such problems with them it drived me insane. I can play WOW for 5 min at a time then all bulidings dissappear and I run at 4fps.

Ok so Im to broke to buy another so I get used to the fact I have to live with it for awhile. Then the day after that (today), my microwae stops working.

I swear I think my apartment buliding is going to collapse in on itself next.

I found some things I needed for my Gambit sim and have begun texturing. Hes turning out really good so far and am excited to get him done.

A few pet peeves I have:

1. Why the hell isnt the male underwear bump mapped?
2. I friggin hate having to have his boots flat. I think it looks like crap but what you gonna do.

Anyway here is a progress update picture:

He's getting there. I always hated the way they meshed the feet. You can get an ankle texture in there but it's a pain in the ass to match it to the rest of the foot.

Like his package? Heh. Gambit is my favorite X-Man so I am going to pay special attention to that area. Besides you know he's gotta have something down there to get all the ladies he gets.

Next I am thinking about doing Nightcrawler. I have his shoulder things and his tail. Good times!

Mesher Needed

Ive said it before, I cant mesh, I dont want to mesh. I hate meshing. None the less there comes a time where I need a mesher and my ablities fail me.

For example I am woking on my X-Men charcters. Ive gotten away with using Maxis undie meshes, and things I have found on the net. Well my luck ran out.

I am making Gambit. His texture is nearly done, but I have no decent mesh to put it on. His boots are a huge problem and the trench coat that came with the game is very lacking in what I need.

I have search around the net, around MTS2. Apparently no one does requests anymore. Im pretty much walled untill I can find some help.

I figured, what the hell Ill start up a blog for my site. DMS has pretty much only involved me posting up downloads and you downloading them. Not to much interaction with me or much feedback.

Here I will post things I am working on, updates, and the like.
