Note from Athletic Director:

Funny how time flies when we are having fun in the athletic department this year. The winter season is already behind, and ahead are exciting spring activities--high school track and middle school basketball.

High school track is offered for the first time in thirteen years. About twenty students signed up, many with some apprehension of what to expect. They are now fascinated with their own new track shoes. On

March 7th, PDSD competed in an official AIA-sanctioned multi-meet at Phoenix Christian, and a Roadrunner sprinter won first place in a 400-meter dash. A good start! Ahead on the schedule are eight weekly multi-meets, the annual Berg-Seeger National Deaf Prep Track and Field meet at ASDB in Tucson on April 20th and 21st, and sectional and state competition in May.
