We Sing POP! Review

Our family was recently sent the new Wii game, We Sing POP!, to review.

The We Sing POP! comes with 2 Logitech USB Mics for $49.99, with 1 microphone for $39.99, and with no microphone for $29.99. The microphone cords plug right into the Wii base and the cords are plenty long enough for standing away from the screen to sing along with the lyrics. Here are our 10yo daughter and 17yo son singing together -- up to four singers can sing at the same time!

Take to the stage with We Sing Pop!, the first game in the We Sing karaoke series to feature 30 sensational pop hits from the World’s leading pop stars. Perform like a true pop idol with 6 decades of original hits to choose from including modern day pop icons and chart legends like Adele, Jessie J, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga and more. There are eight multiplayer party modes to choose from, making it a great addition to family game night or a sleepover with friends. Some other features include, singing lessons to help train your voice, performance replay that allows you to add cool effects to your voice and player statistics with a detailed breakdown of how you performed.

What we think about We Sing Pop!:

Our 10yo daughter is the biggest fan of the game; she wanted to play over and over. There are several ways to play, so she won't be bored easily. I like that reading the lyrics on the screen gives her reading practice. :)

Our teenagers liked seeing the original music videos on the screen, rather than a graphic like in other games. We also enjoyed that the songs were sung by the original artists.

Would we buy it? Any karaoke-loving family would think this is a fun game. We'll definitely take ours to teen parties, as karaoke is always a hit there, when they get tired of dancing games. It's nice having the two-microphone pack, so we didn't have to hunt for another mic for the second kid to use.
