My sister recently told me about this great resource for free children’s books; it’s called We Give Books. You can read the books online for free, but you have to create a login. The thing I really like about it is that for each free book you read online, they’ll donate real books to charities and children around the world who don’t have books. So far, her favorite thing to do is using her LeaPad to take pictures; she's been taking pictures of her sister and Pinky the Fish.

Post-baby weight loss or the lack of it

According to BabyCentre, "One study showed that only about four out of 10 mums had lost their pregnancy weight by the time their babies were six months." Well, I am certainly not one of those women who lost the weight, but I have great hope.

When it comes to managing my weight; especially, after having a baby, I try to be realistic, because everyone’s body is different, and I don’t expect my body to be the way it was before pregnancy.

I'm hoping by sharing my weight loss goal with others, I will stay focused and motivated.

As you can see, I gained a lot more weight during my second pregnancy as opposed to my first, or maybe the problem was I didn't lose the weight I gained during my first pregnancy before trying for another baby.

Either way, I have no regrets; being a mother brings me the greatest joy in life. I know I can lose the weight if I work hard to achieve my goal.

First Dental Check-Up and Cleaning

The Girls had their first dental check-up and cleaning today. Meliyah did awesome; no pictures of Sierra, because my phone's battery had died before I could take a picture of her.

Liyah is the happiest kid on the block tonight, because her Daddy brought home some flowers for her. She's been obsessed with flowers lately; she loves anything and everything that has to do with flowers.

I've been a little busy lately; so, I haven't had time to share things on here, but it's Meliyah's 3rd birthday, we had a great time at Chuckychees, I'll put up some pictures later.

I can't believe she's already 3 years old. She's such a sweet little girl, Liyah, I will never forget the first time I held you in my arms, I was the happiest person in the world because of you.

Curly vs. Straight

As some of you may or may not know, we are getting ready to move and there's something about moving that just makes me a little stress. I'm not even sure what it is; maybe it's all the boxes. Anyway, I wanted to make myself feel better; so, I took a break from packing and straightened my hair.

My favorite thing about my hair is that I can wear it curly when I want to, but also able to wear it straight sometimes.
