On June 11, 2009, 62-year-old Jack Trawick was executed for his murder conviction by the state of Alabama via lethal injection. He was processed under the tenure of Governor Bob Riley. Trawick had murdered Stephanie Gach.

He was the 1,168th prisoner to be executed since the re-introduction of capital punishment in 1976.
