Well I ended up going back to the old way with the coffee cups. I do like the way they turned out. They are only hand washable not dishwasher safe until I can check them out a little bit more. I have various designs and colors I will be posting this next week or so. The cost will be $7 each

So no, I have not disappeared. Life has made some changes and with me now out of the house more, I need to manage my time in a different manner. Well, life has changed big time here. After 23 yrs of being a stay at home mom I was offered a part time job that I just could not pass up. I am still able to homeschool the 2 teens I have left at home and have them with me so it is a win, win situation. It does take time from my crafting but I get up earlier and try to get some projects done.

Rather than a days work to get this type of project done it takes me 3...but I get it done!

This is all wood and paint and comes with a wall hanger on the back but can also be displayed on a stand (as I have here). I think one of these will be hanging in my new office very soon.

I will be starting on Christmas cards soon. I have my design all lined up and my cardstock should be in next week.

What.....I made a card?!?!?!? and posted it?!?!?!?

Life has been crazy around here and I was in dire need of some card therapy. I will hopefully get some time soon (or ask my children to help) get some more pictures so I can post the pile I made last week. This card was greatly inspired by the card on the bottom of the page 129 in the new catalog. The colors just jumped out at me and said "USE ME!!" This is one of my new favorite background stamps, so easy and fun. The hostess sets are my favorite in all years I can remember. I think I have them all already....and have used them all. I have already gone through 2 packs of the heavy Whisper white cardstock and have a bunch on an order I am working on.

SVG Files

So this last weekend I had created a bunch of SVG files to cut out my new stamps. My hands cannot handle a scissors very long any more so this is an easy way for me. As I was testing them out this morning I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in having them. IF I get enough interest I will add an them to my SVG page of my site. At this point I can only do stamps I own, but if you want a set I do not own I would need you to do the measuring and testing for me.

Mother's Day

So my Mother's Day cards went out a bit late this year. I had to take a quick trip from Wisconsin to Florida to pick up my son from college and to get a small vacation while I was there. I forgot a few anniversaries and Mother's day so I had to have a make up day when I got home. This is one of the new Embossing folders. I like that it is a 6" x 6" size so it will work for cards either way. I slanted it a bit.
