Ich bin sehr überrascht von den neuen Designs. Pullover in Pastelltönen, und Kleider in elegantem Fotoprint. Besonders schön fand ich die weissen Teile: Ledergilets, Wollpullis und Jupes in wunderschönen Materialien. Was ich unbedingt haben muss, ist der grüne "Celine-Bag"! Um 18:00 besuchte ich die Swiss Designer Show. Besonders beeindruckt war ich von Sarah Vidas Kollektion. Kilian Kerner zeigte zum Schluss Kreationen für Männer und Frauen. Musikalisch wurde die Show vom Sänger Mads Langer begleitet - wunderschön! Nach einem kurzen Abendessen beim Chinesen startete um 21:00 Uhr die Show "VOGUE Salon". Christiane Arp, Chefredakteurin der VOGUE Deutschland, hat diese Plattform für Jungdesigner ins Leben gerufen. Vier Labels zeigten ihre SS12 Kollektionen - von den beiden Designerinnen vom Label Augustin Teboul war ich besonders angetan. Schwarzes Leder, Seide, Strass à la Balmain. Talbot Runhof liess seine Models in der Puls 5 Halle in fliessenden Stoffen über den Laufsteg.<br /> Anschliessend gings an die Friday Fashion Afterparty! Bazare in der Altstadt und danach mit dem Taxi in das Stadtzentrum, das innerhalb von 20 Jahren aufgebaut worden ist - Dubai ist ein Wunderwerk! Eine kilometerlange Skyline und inmitten der weltweit höchste Turm der Welt "Burj Khalifa". Anschliessend gings in die grösste Mall der Welt mit 1300 Läden, das Shoppingparadies schlechthin.
