Time

2011-03-11T14:45:00.000-05:00

As I look around, there are so many things to do on a daily basis. Being a mom and a wife, I am sure many of you can relate. Work (outside of home), church, prayer, reading the bible, cooking, cleaning, washing cloths, dishes, doing homework with the kids, bills, blog of course, and spending quality time with the husband are to just name a few. As the days go by I always make a plan of what will get done and won't. I am a planner and have to put everything on paper or it won't get done. I only wish there were more hours in the day to get everything accomplished.

I am constantly thinking of ways to make life easier. Get the kids involved. Cleaining the house shouldn't be a one person deal when you have kids. Everyone in my house has their own job, even the 6 year old. My oldest does the dishes and keeps the dining room clean, my 6 year old does the dusting and keeping his room straight. The husband and I are very busy because we have an 8 month old so we share the other duties.

What are some of your time saving ideas? I would love to hear them as I am always looking for better ways to save time!

My 2 Cents! (Slow Progress)

2011-03-08T14:44:00.000-05:00

We are in step 2 and making progress. This is the stage that takes a long time. Just knowing that we can scream that we are debt free is making up for this down time.

Staying focused and on track sometimes is hard. We get involved with everyday activities that can weigh us down. If you see yourself moving away from your goal, bring it back in. You have to keep your head up, stay focused, look beyond that and see what will life be at the end of this journey. You will have many journeys in life and many choices to make, so make the best of it.

I just scored a pair of $70 shoes for 39.95 plus free shipping. I needed some new shoes and got a great deal. Here is the link: http://www.dsw.com/?cm_re=Hdr-_-Home. Be sure to go to the Clearance section.

Nine West also has an End of the Season Sale up to 70% off. Here is the link; http://www.ninewest.com/.
If you budget for shoes and clothes each month you can take what's left and put that in your Emergency fund or toward paying off your debt.

My husband and I were doing our budget last night and were surprised at what we could put toward our debt. If you stop eating out and spending just because, you will find money in all sorts of places. We did!

Until next post Stay Focused!
