I posted a few things about Dip Dye Ombre trends, and that it is a trend that men can also wear this season. I didn't talk about some of the ways to incorporate the tonal pieces into your wardrobe. Here are some great examples of how to wear a dip dye ombre piece.
Some pointers to get you started.
When wearing a color statement, try to wear it alone like the dress below, or with a neutral compliment piece like jeans. Layering over your dip dye can also help balance the outfit if you are looking to make a subtle statement.

DIY How to Make Friendship Bracelets

I posted an arm party how to layer bracelets, Which is my inspiration for this, I thought it would be good to give a little tutorial about how to do your own woven friendship bracelets. I got my tutorial from here and I think they did an awesome job. If you have never read their blog you really should.

What you will need...
12 24 inch pieces of embroidery floss
(6 colors, 2 of each color)
that's it

Step one: Cut your floss then tie a knot at the end about 3 inched from the top of the floss.

Step two: Separate the six colors in half matching the order on each side.

Step three: Take the outside edge color and create a four shape over the second color. Then slide to the top. Repeat twice then do the same for the out side color on the other side making a backwards four shape and repeating twice. Follow this pattern for all of the colors remembering to knot twice and keeping the same color pattern till you reach about three inches from the end.

Step four: Done.
You can always by a kit with the direction from a craft store or purchase some already embellished and made from our etsy store.

An arm party is the layering of multiple bracelets up your fore arm. You can make an arm party grunge 90's inspired, to sophisticate and mature and everything in between. Here are some examples.

To get your party started, I prefer a few less bracelets than the pictures above. To me the perfect arm party is feminine and edge, with a hint of sophistication. I layer a few friendship bracelets, a leather wrap bracelet, few spikes and an occasional watch.

Beauty Bioscience Lash Allure Md, Two Week Update Progress Report

As you all know, I have been using the Beauty Bioscience products. This is my two week progress update. After only two weeks while using the Lash Allure MD, I have little new eye lash sprouts! Never have I seen a growing lash but I have three right now. My brows are also a tiny bit fuller.

The Lash Allure MD AM and PM products are packaged in tubes very similar to mascara. The night tube is silver and has a clear liquid that you apply with a small paint brush attached to the lid. I brush it over my top eye lid and in my brows after I cleanse my face. The AM formula is the same as liquid liner. I just replace my usual liner with the growth formula. I have not been putting the AM formula on my brows, which might be the reason they are not growing as much as my lashes.

Lash Allure MD contains proprietary HFH (Hair Follicular Habitat) Technology to provide the optimal environment for accelerated hair growth when combined with the powerful Pentapeptide Growth Complex. Lash Allure MD dose not contain prostaglandins, which have been shown to cause skin darkening and eye discoloration in some consumers.

Also, (from my experience) when Lash Allure MD gets in your eyes there is no burning or stinging. It feels similar to when liquid liner gets in your eye.

I hate taking pictures but love doing projects so hopefully my picture skills and ambitions will improve if I keep up this DYI thing. The neon shoe is so in right now and I love them. Here is how I created my own.

Tape off sections you do not want to be neon, then primer. Then you paint the neon color of your choice. Mine is a Martha Stewart one from Michael's. I also added upholstery nails and twin to my shoes. I didn't get pics of that process sorry! If you have any questions about it email me or leave a comment.

Trending Frayed Shorts, Fringe Tops, and Friendship Bracelets

Happy Monday!!! My day has been really good so far. I went to spinning early this morning and have a jump on my week. This weekend, I started using the Beauty Bioscience line of products, which I posted about here on Friday. So far, I am really happy with the cleanser and moisturizer. I am using the Lash Allure on my lashes and brows morning and night, along with the RetinoSyn-45 just at night. I am enjoying the process so far, but let me tell you it is a process. I ALWAYS wash and moisturize my face in the morning and at night, but the extra step of Lash Allure and RetinoSyn- 45 is adding some time to my routine. I am sure all of those 2 minutes will be worth the beautiful smooth skin and lush lashes. I just need to get used to spending the time.

I have been seeing many ads about the lash enhancing and beauty med products on the market. They are filled with the small print warnings about possible side effects like iris discoloration, darkening of the area around the eye, and itchy red peeling skin. Ingredients

6 Roma tomatoes, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 seeded and minced jalapenos, plus 2 roasted, skinned and chopped jalapenos
1 red bell pepper, fine dice
1/2 red onion, fine chopped
2 dry ancho chiles, seeded, cut into short strips and snipped into pieces
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lime, juiced
Chili powder, salt, and pepper, to taste
Fresh scallions, cilantro or parsley, to taste

Directions

In a bowl, combine all ingredients. Place in refrigerator for up to 12 hours for flavor infusion.

Serve with tortilla chips.
