A special communion service is held once a month at 7:00 PM on Wednesday nights. And there's plenty of great ministry and churchwide gatherings all the time. Lent begins on Feb 22nd this year. Even though it is Leap Year and Feb 29th is on a Wednesday, we thought it would make sense to have Communion on Ash Wednesday. Communion is a time set apart when we, the dec family, gather at the Lord’s table for an intimate time of worship and communion. All who believe are invited to come, to share with God’s family, and to be a witness to His power. Childcare is provided in the nursery for children under 3 yrs.

MOPS meets on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 9 – 11 AM in the dec Function Hall.

Once again, college students will be traveling to the Gulf Coast to help rebuild and share their faith with their friends.

How can you help? It’s EASY and FUN! Just sugar up on the sweet desserts (with coffee, of course!) starting at 6 PM and then get ready for some sa-weeeeet swing dancing at this KRUP (Katrina Relief Urban Plunge) Valentine fundraiser.

Can’t swing dance? No problem. The college students will show you how!

Have you ever wondered how the Old Testament fits into your life?  Does the OT really have any influence on our lives today?  How does God use the OT scriptures in our lives today?  These are some of the questions we want to explore over the next year.  Join us in the worship center for a couple of hours on the third Friday of each month to see how God reaches for man throughout the history.  The dec teaching team will lead the exploration of how and why the OT has been and is still shaping the world we live in.
