Mr. Toth, a 42-year-old global sales director at United Airlines, has spent more than 20 years on his elaborate recreation of a Pan Am cabin, which includes a few economy-class seats, too. All told, Mr. Toth estimates he has spent as much as $50,000 on the project, which he hopes someday to turn into a museum…

Cocaine smugglers are now using submarines to transport their drugs.  Well, this one was caught in the act and reportedly carrying about one third of all cocaine smuggled to the U.S. at 10 TONS!  That surely is a LOT of drugs and surprising their submarine is even able to hold that much.

Colombian drug dealers sick of getting busted by law enforcement have come up with numerous ways to transport their contraband to foreign shores. They used automobiles with secret compartments, human drug “mules,” high-speed aircraft and boats. Now, they’re trying their luck with submarines.

Weird Clouds!

(The iPhone control-unit can control the van via accelerometer, gas, and brake.  Looks like you get a real-time camera too.)

Certainly, we knew this day would come, when someone would hook up bunch of sensors and computers to a van, all controllable via an iPhone.  Great, now if we can get these in production, maybe we would never have to drive again.

Well, let’s just say this is way too cool for most people.

Of course, there’s no word on what happens when you go out of WiFi range, we think it’s probably still safe, perhaps the van shuts down automatically.

“Spirit of Berlin” is a project of the Artificial Intelligence Group, directed by Prof. Raul Rojas, at Freie Universitaet Berlin.

As someone who learned English as his second language, I can understand the frustrations if someone who doesn’t speak English well gets cited for not speaking English.

These tickets were actually cited by rookie Officer and were dismissed.

Usually, you get no tickets if you didn’t do something highly wrong on the road and cops will let you go if you don’t speak their native language.  (as that happened to me in Korea where I told the cop I am a foreigner and he let me go although I had no motorcycle license plate)  In this case, something went obviously south for the Texan residents who couldn’t speak English.

Of course, learn English, so you don’t have to deal with accidents like this.

The Dallas Police Department said it was embarrassed by what it calls a mistake by rookie Officer Gary Bromley after he stopped Ernestina Mondragon for making an illegal U-turn.

In addition for being cited for the U-turn violation, Mondragon received another ticket for being a “non-English speaking driver.”

Windows 7 Burger is available in Japan featuring 7 burger patties that with satisfy the hunger of every hungry man, or worse, might kill them literally.  I think they did a great job of making the burger, all except that it’s probably not too healthy to eat more than one of these in your lifetime nor does it look like it tastes any good, perhaps what Windows 7 is all about behind the scenes?  Don’t be disappointed if your computer dies from too many new features. – link

Crazy Corvette Lover!

Perhaps one thing we really don’t have in the States are homeless kids.  As someone who grew up in South Korea, I know there’s a ton of homeless kids in South Korea and other parts of the world.  One of my dreams in life is to help the homeless, especially those kids.

For one, I know homeless kids in Korea get by stealing.  Well, they are also parentless, lost souls we must help save, much  more than cancer patients I think.  Kids are future of our world.

Anyways, check out some of these pics over at English Russia depicting the poor kids in Russia who are homeless and parentless and you should be happy if you have a home even if the economy doesn’t look great.

Bees in Thailand have been reported to drink human tears!  Ridiculous, no bee will be landing near my eye anytime soon though. – link

..workers drank lachrymation (tears) from human eyes in more than 262 naturally-occurred cases at 10 sites in N and S Thailand during all months of the year. A few visits were also seen to eyes of zebu and dog, indicating a probable broad mammalian host range. On man the bees were relatively gentle visitors, mostly landing on the lower eyelashes from where they imbibed tears for 0.5-2.5 min, often singly but occasionally in congregations of 5-7 specimens per eye.

Man Loses in a Bullfight!

Here’s a sad story of a man who tried to check the water levels of his golf cart battery using his lighter.  Well, the battery exploded and the man lost one of his ears.  Luckily, the man lived through the explosion but for those of you who are checking water levels on your battery, don’t use a lighter. – link

His lighter appears to have caused a hydrogen explosion. Pieces of the battery flew up a such a high speed that it knocked most of his right ear off. “I reached up to check where the blood was coming from and all I could feel was part of a nub sticking out where my ear used to be.” Explained Lesnar.
