Yvonne is going to marry Liam this September and I'm so excited to be a bridesmaid for the first time! :)
We took a stroll in Pheonix Park one fab day for a few snaps. I don't get to see her too often these days since she moved to London which is a big change from the room downstairs. Miss you lots bestie, and can't wait for the big event!!! xxx

Ceara and Justin's golf themed wedding

One mild day in March, Ceara and Justin declared their love to family and friends in Kilbride church and celebrated at the Trim Castle Hotel. They incorporated Justin's love of golf into the theme of the wedding which turned out to be lots of fun with their bridal party at the course of Kileen Castle. Another great reason for getting their pictures taken there is that he proposed to Ceara on the steps of the castle.

It was Justin's sister Helena who put me in touch with this lovely couple and I can't thank her enough. It was a fantastic day surrounded by easy going, happy people with lots of love. A big thanks has to go to Erica the prepared-for-everything maid-of-honour. Also how lucky was I to have such a good looking couple! Ceara is stunning and a beautiful person on the inside too, and Justin knows it... they got a groovy kind of love ;)

I had so much fun shooting this wedding and I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek...

This a peek at Darren and Natalie's wedding in Balbriggan, Dublin. They were such fun to work with and so openly in love, which makes my job so much easier. I loved the dress and most of the fantastic families they brought together. Her brother flew in fro NZ with their newborn son. A surprise for the Natalie and it made her day. Kilkenny Castle is one of the hotspots in Kilkenny for wedding photography...Which is on of the reasons Lisa and Joe didn't choose it for their wedding photographs. We did take a walk through the park beside the castle for their E-session though. Lisa runs here all the time and how could you not love these great colours at this time of year...just magical!

..and we had a little guest...a little red breast robin! :)

Cora and David's funky wedding

Cora and David had the funkiest wedding car aka a VW van! Now that's what I'm talking about! She looked stunning of course. In a fabulous dress with a beautiful shape and detailing. They planned all the little details down to the umbrellas in case it rained...luckily it didn't! A wonderful couple with many happy years ahead I'm sure. All the best Cora and David, and thank you very much for inviting me to be a part of your special day!

Susan's hen party

It's tradition, you have to have one last horah with the girls before the big day. Unlike some images that may come to mind when you think of a hen party, Susans bridesmaids threw her a stylish bash in the very swanky G Hotel in Galway. I can't get over the attention to detail in this hotel. Everything is done to the highest standards, the décor is outstanding. Colourful cocktails at 4, champaign and costumes for a fun photoshoot then off to dinner and to paint the town red. Susan is lucky enough to have as one her bridesmaids the very talented Kate Hyde of henparty.ie (yes, as seen on Dragons Den!) and she certainly knows her stuff. Mixing a group of girls who often don't know each other to begin with can be tough, but by the time they were heading off to dinner they were besties. I had a lot of fun with this group... really looking forward to the next hen!

Miss Ireland - Maire Hughes

This shoot in Lisloughrey Lodge was taken for the July 2012 issue of RSVP magazine. The details of how Maire won and lost the Miss Ireland crown are described in the interview with Carrie McKeown. Maire is a lovely down to earth girl who does a great job as a model and I wish her the very best in her career! The whole team were great fun to work with the staff at Lisloughrey are so helpful and I wouldn't complain about the food either... had a delicious lunch in between dress changes sent to our room. I would have loved to have spent the night there!

Mel and Kerry's big day

Kerry and Mel are the sweetest couple. They celebrated their wedding in the beautiful Durrow Castle. I love this location from the first time I attended a wedding here, which was a winter wedding. The castle and grounds are perfect for any time of year. They've stuck with traditional décor and the staff too are very friendly. Kerry is from the States and has adapted to life and the weather here by now. They are so meant for each other these two, is was obvious from the first time I saw them together at their engagement session, they seamed to know each other so well they had conversations without the need for words... handy that! I wish them both the very best, I'm sure they'll have a very long and happy future together.

Had such a good time with the creative team on this shoot! The model was the most beautiful girl in Mayo. She really has stunning features and is so nice to boot! The Make up artist, stylist, her assistant and the hairdresser all had a go at holding a light stand or reflector for me. I think we all really enjoyed it. I hope you enjoy this sneak peak of the behind the scenes action. You'll have to wait for the next edition of RSVP magazine for the finished results... I know, I can't wait either! ;)

Kerry & Mel's Engagement Session

On a crisp day in beautiful Glendolough, Co. Wicklow we celebrated the engagement of Mel and Kerry. Stopping in the lodge for a hot cuppa to warm the bones and then headed out for a stroll. You can't not love this place. I've taken many walks and even once jogged around the lake and there is always a surprise goat or some deer to see and the scenery looks different every time. On this day I also had a good friend filming a bit of the shoot for my new promo video. Kerry and Mel were so gracious and lots of fun. I can't wait for the big day in April at another stunning location, Durrow Castle. :) Hope you enjoy my favourites from the shoot.

Super fun working with the lovely Emer Donlon, editor of Galway Now magazine on a shoot for her profile picture. And the Radisson Blu hotel provided a wonderfully bright location for it.

Delighted to see the results of her first edition as editor. The layout and content are fab. Congrats to Emer and the team!

Also lovely to see Katrina and Sean's wedding feature. I've known them as a couple for many years and their beautiful, intimate wedding was the most natural thing in the world. They are so made for each other! Always nice to see my work in print also, I hope all the readers enjoy this selection of the best bits. :)

Baby boom!

There are bumps and babies everywhere at the moment! :)
I've three newborn shoots this week and one hasn't arrived yet! So excited to meet my good friend Niamh's new arrival..so hurry up little one! ;)
Newborn shoots are soo much fun. I love them. The best time to get these done is about 2 to 4 weeks old. Then you can get great pictures of the tiny things all curled up in sleepy newness! Here's some pics from a previous newborn shoot with baby Alicia. So cute and she's grown so much since.

It might sound cliché but it actually was perfect. They are so adorable together it would make us singletons sick. I enjoyed it soo much it makes my job super easy when they are always smiling and kissing naturally, I didn't need to encourage them one bit, in fact I sometimes had to ask them to stop!
