Deep Secure is sponsoring and participating in this year’s MPOWER EMEA Cybersecurity Summit. The Amsterdam Summit will feature a comprehensive agenda, packed with keynotes from McAfee leaders and other industry experts. At the event we will demonstrate our Content Threat Removal (CTR) platform. CTR defeats content threats, such as Zero Day and Stegware entirely, without detecting the threat. Our insertion approach simply integrates with McAfee Web Gateway using industry standard ICAP. Applying our unique transformation approach, content passed to Deep Secure Stegware Threat Removal (STR) or Content Threat Removal modules means evasion is not possible. Our McAfee integrated platform assumes all source data is bad and none is allowed to cross the boundary, instead new data is built to deliver to the browser. The efficacy of our STR and CTR solution is unrivalled. Deep Secure have the only viable approach to defeat sophisticated and undetectable threats such as steganography-exploits, and polymorphism. Visitors have to pre-register and can do so until 28 November 2017.

Deep Secure is participating in the UK Department of International Trade’s (DIT) May/June Mega Mission to Japan and South Korea taking place between the 29th May to 2nd June 2017. A full agenda awaits the UK contingent thanks to the hard work put in by the DIT and the Deep Secure appointment diary is particularly busy with interest from a considerable number of well known technology companies across the APJ region. The Mission to South Korea will be the largest trade mission to ever visit the country. The Intercontinental Hotel at COEX in Seoul will welcome the 40 strong British contingent for a series of B2B meetings and trade engagements as well as hosting speeches and discussions by UK and Korean Tech experts. In Japan the Mission team will be greeted with a reception at the Ambassador’s Residence, British Embassy Tokyo. This will be followed by two days of meetings before returning to the UK. Dan Turner, CEO said “This mission is one of many the business is undertaking as it continues expansion into the APJ region. This mission is a great way of showcasing Deep Secure’s Content Threat Removal Platform to a wide ranging business audience.”

Harriett Baldwin, Member of Parliament for West Worcestershire visited our HQ last week. The visit coincides with the business preparing to launch its latest innovation in the fight against cyber threats at June’s Infosecurity Europe show at Olympia, London. The Deep Secure team showed Harriett their Anti-Steganography Gateway, part of the Content Threat Removal Platform, which is able to remove undetectable malware or viruses from innocent looking files and imagery, and in doing so prevents businesses from being infected from Zero Day and other unknown threats. Dan Turner, Deep Secure Chief Executive Officer said “Mrs Baldwin visits us at a very exciting juncture for the business. Our team of technologists led by our Chief Technology Officer Dr Simon Wiseman has engineered a game changing solution. The Content Threat Removal Platform is what we describe as the 3rd era of cyber security. Current solutions are designed to isolate or detect threats – but those threats are already known and out there. Our solution removes all threats, including those that are unknown and therefore undetectable.” Harriett commented: “Deep Secure has ambitious plans and the team is confident that this new product will launch them into a phase of hyper-growth. They are all very excited by the launch and I was keen to offer my support as they begin to unveil this solution to its UK and global customers.” “Once again, I am impressed that the brilliant brains of Malvern are developing world-class innovations but also working hard to make them profitable selling to domestic and foreign customers.”

Defence Information 2017 is the major annual communications event of Joint Information Group activities (the JIG reports to the Defence Suppliers Forum) and the Event’s content spans both Information and Support. It takes place on the 26-27 April 2017. It is jointly presented by the UKCeB, MoD and Cranfield University. The event examines some of the ‘people, process and technology’ issues critical to Team Defence being able to adopt, embed and exploit new (and often disruptive) Information and Communications Technology (ICT) capabilities and associated new ways of working – to productive effect. The two days include: keynote presentations, panels where the audience question and contribute to the debate, choices of workshops which delve into ‘Delivery’ using case studies and experiences from recent JIG projects, a Good Practice Market Place where defence teams share their experiences on innovative and collaborative Team Defence projects, trade stands where suppliers demonstrate innovative applications and opportunities for networking with peers both from MOD and Industry. Our CTO, Dr Simon Wiseman and Danny Wootton from MoD ISS Innovation Strategy are jointly running a workshop which will discuss alternative approaches of how to achieve a modern 21st Century User Experience across multiple end user devices whilst maintaining the level of security required by MoD. We will also be hosting an exhibition stand so if you are registered to attend DI’17 be sure to say hello to Dave Brassington and Colin Nash who are our stand team. .

We are all ready for participation at Infosecurity Europe 2017. Be the first to see our new Content Threat Removal (CTR) Platform and interact with four live demonstrations that will highlight Deep Secure’s game-changing approach to defeating sophisticated attacks, malware, ransomware and covert data loss techniques. Content Threat Removal – Security Transformed. The Content Threat Removal (CTR) Platform is unique, cost-effective and a real and viable alternative to the inadequacies of 1st and 2nd Generation Cyber Security Solutions. Every organisation struggles with those inadequacies, because current solutions are unable to deal with the real concern of “Undetectable” Zero Day attacks, for example ransomware. At Infosecurity 6-8 June 2017 we will demonstrate and explain why this unique solution delivers tangible business benefits and improves an organisations cyber security posture without needing to isolate or detect the threat. Book a demo and see for yourself how our solution is the only viable way to defeat undetectable sophisticated cyber attacks. Steganography – Created in 1499. Alive and kicking in 2017. And because of the threat from hidden content, particularly in malvertising campaigns we offer our Anti-Steganography Gateway. Our Gateway can expose those cyber criminals who are trying to mask their payloads by launching an attack hidden in content or imagery. The technique is known as steganography – that centuries old technique of hiding something in plain sight. Unfortunately for the cyber criminals our Gateway prevents them from succeeding and we will demonstrate how at the show. Like to find out more before June then please have a look at our short video. Visit Infosecurity Europe this June. Infosecurity runs from the 6-8 June 2017 at […]

February 13-17, 2017 is in our diaries because we are off to exhibit as RSA Conference 2017 at the Moscone Center, San Francisco. This will be our first visit to the show and we cannot wait to show and tell this exciting venue all about our pioneering and new technique – Content Threat Removal. It works by identifying useful business information in data, extracting it and constructing new “clean” data to carry the information to its destination. This transformation delivers what the business needs, but in the process any bad data is discarded – without any need to understand that it is bad. As a result, the cyber threat is removed, even in the face of new unknown bad things.
Press Release: Steganography – Now you don’t see it, now you don’t see it.

January 2017.

Deep Secure, specialist cyber security vendor in Content Threat Removal – exhibiting at RSA ’17 for the first time in February – throws down a challenge: “Is your business ready for the 3rd Era of Cyber Security?”

In the networked economy and the smart cities of the future, digital content is king and the attackers know how valuable our digital world is. The good work that the vendor community has done over recent years improving threat isolation and threat detection is now unfortunately easily overcome by the most substantive and capable hackers in the world – the real super league of adversaries – who have evolved their attack vectors to hide in plain sight. And it is these unknown threats that are now simply undetectable by “the detectors” and “the isolators”.

First generation cyber security has failed. Traditional security systems can detect known malware, but cannot stop a determined cyber criminal using sophisticated techniques, such as steganography and are therefore proving completely ineffective against Zero Day threats.

Second generation is failing too. Products that try to isolate risky applications aren’t sufficient enough to stop users still accessing business information. This causes holes in defences and allows malware to escape.

Attacks such as ransomware succeed because cyber criminals are using stealthy techniques like steganography to hide malicious payloads in plain sight, exploiting social media channels like Twitter. This therefore presents global Enterprises with an unquantifiable business risk.

Deep Secure, a UK based specialist cyber security vendor will be unveiling – for the first time at the RSA show – the solution to defeat these most substantive and sophisticated cyber threats. The company’s Anti-Steganography Gateway is the world’s first cyber security solution that mitigates the failures of “the isolators” and “the detectors” and uses an approach that ensures that the cyber criminals command and control channels are disrupted.

Dan Turner, Deep Secure’s CEO said “Our market leading anti-steganography solution works seamlessly with existing cyber defences, adding incremental capability so hidden content such as those in images can be intercepted. We build new clean content leaving any hidden information behind.”

He added “The Deep Secure Team will be demonstrating their Anti-Steganography Gateway on our stand #4520, in the North Expo. We will be looking forward to demonstrating how Content Threat Removal forces attackers out into the open and disrupts their command and control network and makes sure our customer’s business information is safe from cyber criminals. It really is a world first and heralds the 3rd era of protection for cyber security.”
