1. Leather Pants

Trust me, no one can ever look good in leather pants. Not even if you think you’re as hot as Lenny Kravitz. They’re just one of the most horrible creations of man. Make up for your leather fetish with leather shoes, belts, jackets and wallets. Just spare us, and yourself, from the horror of seeing you in those rockstar inspired leather pants.

2. Crocs

First bursting into the scene as a health boosting footwear, Crocs slowly crawled into our everyday lives. What was once limited to your ailing aunt to the toddlers from your neighbourhood, the footwear became the staple for almost everyone you knew. They are undeniably comfortable but also equally hideous to look at. The footwear is also aptly named since it pretty much resembles its reptilian inspiration.

3. Cowboy Hats

There's a reason they are called cowboy hats. It is because they are meant for cowboys (wonder if they even exist). While Kenny Chesney wears them to hide his baldness, a lot of country singers wear them to keep the country spirit alive. Apparently. But what's the reason you would want to wear them, since you obviously don't look good in them?

4. Saggy Jeans

This is one trend that refuses to die away. Seriously, why would showing off boxers be considered a fashion statement?. No matter how cool you think your boxers are, most people will only squirm at the sight of them popping out of your hanging trousers. Also, there certainly cannot be any joy in pulling up your pants each time so that they don’t go down your knees

5. Jerseys

Jerseys were good as long as they were on sportsmen or hanging on your wall. This shapeless piece of clothing does not add to your charm but certainly does to your size. Seeing guys sporting huge jerseys on them is like they've wrapped themselves in a sack, without any exaggeration.

6. Transparent/ Mesh Clothing

There is nothing sexy about wearing clothes that make you look half-naked. More so, when you have a horribly unshapely body that deserves to be hidden in a barrel for a lifetime. True, Shah Rukh Khan took on as our national ambassador for transparent shirts, but your love for him should not get in your way of a safe, if not fantastic, fashion sense.

Chili Chicken

Chili Chicken Recipe

Ingredients forchilli chicken:

500 -600 gms Boneless Chicken

2 tbsp Soya Sauce

1 Egg

2 tbsp Corn Flour/Corn Starch

5-6 Chopped Green Chilies

2 Green Onion Chopped

1 tsp Garlic Paste

Salt to taste

1/2 tsp White Pepper Powder

1 tsp Sugar

A pinch of ajinomoto

2 cups chicken Broth/ Water

1 tbsp Oil

Oil to fry

Preparation:

Cut the boneless chicken pieces into1 " cubes.
Take 1tbsp. Soya sauce, 1tbsp. corn flour, salt, egg in a bowl and marinate chicken pieces in the the mixture for about 10-15 minutes.
Heat oil and deep fry the marinated chicken pieces till golden brown.
Now in a separate wok / kadhai heat 1 tbsp. oil and add garlic paste and green chilies and sauté for few seconds.
Add 2 cups of chicken broth or water. Bring to boil and add sugar, pepper powder, salt , ajinomoto and remaining Soya sauce.
Add fried chicken pieces to it and cook for few minutes.
Dissolve the remaining corn flour in 1/2 cup water and add to the curry stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Serve chinese chili chicken hot garnished with chopped green onion tops.
Chinese chili chicken goes well with steamed / boiled rice.

1. Make an effort: Dressing decently, smelling nice and bringing flowers/chocolates/a bottle of wine (whatever he/she digs, or for a change, something that will really surprise your date) isn’t asking for too much. It shows your date you actually care about the way he/she thinks of you.

2. Don’t rummage his/her personal stuff: Your date’s mobile phone, wallet and purse are off limits. Don’t answer your date’s phone if it happens to ring when he/she isn’t around. And please don’t think it’s okay to dig into his/her wallet/purse for change (at a restaurant, petrol pump, a supermarket or whenever else) if you’re short. Patients, who have been diagnosed with migraine, should continue to take the prescribed medication.
Migraine patients should avoid exposure to frequent temperature change.
Avoid any alternative treatments at home.
It is important to remember that migraines, at times, can be fatal. So, it is advisable to seek medical advice.
Ensure that you get 6-8 hrs of sound sleep.
Yoga, meditation & morning walks are a few ways to keep you healthy. Maintain a daily routine of exercise.
An unhealthy lifestyle can lead to migraines, specially skipping meals or not eating on time. A migraine patient should avoid fasting and food containing fat.
Avoid strong perfumes.
Stress could be a big reason for triggering migraines.
Avoid direct sunlight. Use goggles and umbrellas when stepping out in the day.
Avoid prolonged use of analgesics.
Paracetamol or aspirin work well for many migraine attacks. (Children under 16 should not take aspirin.) Take a dose as early as possible after symptoms begin. If you take painkillers early enough, they often reduce the severity of the headache, or stop it completely.

The first date and the first impression definitely cannot go wrong. And that comes from one’s self presentation, which includes clothing, etiquettes, grooming…everything.

It actually shows how seriously you have taken the whole affair of things and thereby shows respect for the person, to whom you are going to meet. Now, let’s see the dos and don’ts of this particular state ofaffairs. Essentially, be what you are. Don’t fake. It really works.

Wear what suits you and appeals to your body type and personality. Choose the color of your shirt which goes best with your skin tone. It’s safe. Remember, to show your other (wild and experimental) side in the followed frequent meetings, if everything goes fine hereafter. Be easy
on the eye. If you have been wearing glasses and on the day you try for the contacts, remember your eyes might take time to adjust and might cause discomfort. So avoid this hassle on the first date. Be your natural self. Or else try them, few days beforehand.

Just to be trendy, don’t wear a colour which does not suit your complexion. If wide legged bottoms are in and you are of short stature, avoid wearing them.Dress as per the occasion or venue of meeting. Unless you are going to an opera or a theatre, don’t try on a tie. Do not try the cologne too hard. Smell good but be gentle. Be careful with your choice of fragrance also. It should not pass off as a lady’s perfume. Keep the phone on silent. Don’t keep fumbling with your gadgets. It will pass on as, if do not much care the presence of the lady in front of you.

You should be well shaven and clean. Not many women appreciate the unshaven stubble look. Keep it for later. A french beard is one of the few looks, which some really find impressive; gives an intellectual appeal. Clip your fingernails and also your toe nails. Use the aftershave.

Here's some quick and easy advice:

Think about what all she Likes

Pay attention to what she likes to do when the two of you are together. What movies she likes to see, what kind of clothes she likes to wear, what kind of foods she gorges on, what are her favourite colours, her intellectual inclinations, the music she likes to listen etc. This will give you an idea about her general tastes in life. If you think you are one of those who find it hard to judge people and ascertain their likes and dislikes, then go ahead and ask her. But don't make it sound too obvious to her that you want to buy a gift for her.

Think about the kind of Person she is

Is she a brand addict or all she cares is that she should look good in whatever she wears? Or is she one of those who hardly care? Or is she a tomboyish girl who enjoys climbing trees and running around bare feet? Is she obsessed with chocolates? Try and explore her inherent nature and thought process. Try to determine the things that give her true happiness. At the same time think about what she does in her spare time. Maybe she likes sketching, so you can get her a sketching set. Should I Really Date a Younger Woman?

Well, we don't really blame you if you've ever thought about dating younger women.

Almost all of us would have thought about such a thing. Many would have even followed through with it. Now a disclosure: she may be sweltering hot, she may give you that comfort, she may be fun but chances of such a relationship going awry are more than everything going alright.

Hugh Hefner's fiasco with his ex-fiance Crystal Harris is an example which stands in support of the above assertion. 25 years old Crystal broke off the engagement with 84-years old Hefner just five days before the marriage. Well, one may argue that here the age difference was quite huge but generally, getting into relationships with younger women only does more harm than good. Men often end up ruining their marriages in their pursuit of a twenty-something babes and eventually, the entire thing turns out to be a mirage.

Because She is Not a Fresh Start

Older men who fall for younger women are normally enticed by the seeming innocence and purity of the latter. How to Deal With Loneliness

Loneliness is the dirty little secret of our outgoing culture. Loneliness in urban cities is a new realtiy. There's rise of bloggers who've come together to share their loneliness and ways to beat it. Even the blogs are bogged by the blues. It's a phenomenon that hits the best of us. In her book, Loneliness: Learning to live with Solitude, Emily While writes: "I'm not saying that loneliness isn't hard, or that long-term loneliness isn't awful. Loneliness can be gruelling."

Affects everyone
Psychiatrist Gregg Krech says, "We're witnessing the rise of loneliness. Especially during festival time. For many, this is a time for loneliness, sadness, anxiety, depression, and family conflict. The most vulnerable persons are the lonely, including empty-nesters and the recently-widowed. Recently, Thomas Dumm's "Loneliness as a Way of Life" portraits loneliness as sombre and sometimes quite hard to take. The lonely are, refugees from others and strangers to themselves. Their isolation causes them to doubt everyone and everything.

Meet Sonali Khanna, 40, doctor, trying to beat the loneliness blues. ``It's been a while, since I have been able to get excited about anything. I just feel down-in-the-dumps during the days. I find myself thinking a lot about my dad who died just before Christmas five years ago. Death does have a way of putting a damper on the holidays, I thought that each year would be easier and it's not really. I find myself angry over his unnecessary death. Things like he'll never see me get married, never know my children... the list goes on and on. This is a time, when I feel the sadness in my life.''

In her blog on Loneliness, Laura's writes, how socialising is the best way to beat loneliness. And it's essential to recognise the symptoms: sadness, loss of interest or pleasure in usual activities, social anxiety disorder. "People experience an intense fear of being scrutinised by other people in social or performance situations as well as being fearful of negative evaluation. Even going to a mall to buy a gift can be a stressful and emotionally challenging activity for someone with this condition," says psychiatrist Dr Avdesh Sharma.

Says Seema Prakash, Director, Sanjeevani, "We get a lot of calls from the age-group of 18-to-35 youngsters. Single women call up with their relationship problems, teenagers call with exam-stress, somehow at the end of the year, they feel they can't cope with the stress. There are desperate almost suicidal calls from some people during this time. The change of weather leads to change of hormones in some people, less activity, fatty-food intake all increase an individual's vulnerability to depression.'"

Go easy on the sugar
According to Kathleen DesMaisons, the author of Potatoes Not Prozac, sugar can play havoc with your blood sugar system. You might get a quick `lift' from some cookies. But it may not be long before you find yourself craving a cup of coffee or a piece of pie just to help you feel a bit more alert. And as your blood sugar levels crash so does your energy level and your spirits. "Eating nuts and cakes can make you sluggish,'' adds Dr Avdesh Sharma. Be it drifting into past or future planning, most emotional trauma is a result of worrying about our past or thinking what-will-happen-next.
