Chase Berman comes to us from the University of Arizona, majoring in political sciences and minoring in business administration. As he heads into his senior year, he’s hoping to gain an advanced understanding of client relations, how to build full-surround campaign strategy and gain knowledge of the integrated advertising industry to prepare himself for his career in digital marketing.

Less than a month after graduating from the Hugh Downs School of Communication at Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s in Communication, Chris Tillman joins the Defero team looking to gain experience in digital advertising and understanding consumer behavior. Because of his focus on communication, Chris will be assisting Defero’s exceptional client services team throughout the summer.

In pursuit of his Master’s degree at Grand Canyon University, Milee Karre brings experience to the Defero intern crew, after serving for more than a year at Spark Design in Tempe.  Milee’s experience with strategy and his knowledge of current trends in digital advertising will serve as tremendous assets to Defero’s Solutions Architecture team this summer.

Historically, Defero has done exceptionally well at the annual AMA Spectrum Awards event winning Best of Show in both 2009 and 2010. For this year, the Defero team put together some amazing campaigns and projects with hard work for clients such as Right Guard, World Market Center Las Vegas, National Kidney Foundation of Arizona, IGT, Cadillac Jack, Purex, Dry Idea, TIP Medical, and Streets of New York.

We can’t wait to attend the 9^th Annual Spectrum Awards event on Wednesday, May 11^th at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown to check out other local talent and find out the results for each category!

Erin Radler has been named User Interface (UI) Designer. Joining the team through our internship program in September 2010, Erin has displayed fantastic abilities to design and complete high-quality projects. As UI Designer, she will utilize awareness of currenty developments in visual arts, technlogy trends, the latest design tools, and an understanding of matertial costs. Her main focus at this time will be pure design, while advancing her skills within Defero’s existing email projects.

Michelle Reyes has been named User Experience (UX) Designer, a promotion from her previous position as a New Media Designer. She has been a genuine asset to Defero’s ID2 department since coming on-board as a graphic design intern in August 2010. Michelle will work closely with project managers and eco partners to develop, design, and implement new features and functions within the user experience. She will also work to craft redesigned/refreshed user experience strategies for clients with exisiting UX strategies based on user, business and functional requirements. Michelle will also work on developing the new ID2 intern program.

Whitney graduated from American University with degrees in Public Relations and Political Science. She has a strong background in the fields of public relations and event planning, previously working with Gordon C James Public Relations as a campaign finance consultant and with the Downtown Film Festival – Los Angeles as their Special Events Liaison. We know her skills will certainly add to the already impressive repertoire at Defero.

Stephanie is a senior at Arizona State University where she will graduate with a degree in Business: Communications and a certificate in International Business.  Although she is still in school, Stephanie comes to Defero with an impressive resume. Previously, she was an Interactive Project Manager Intern with Cramer-Krasselt, and prior to that, she worked with Merrill Lynch and the American Marketing Association.

The entire team at Defero is very excited about both ladies coming on board. We look forward to enhancing their professional growth as Defero continues to rise as a powerful marketing force in The Valley. Welcome to the team, ladies!
