I'm really relieved that's over with.

Definition of a Man sincerely thanks Jiri Prochazka for his 5 and half years of service as the Banner Boy for this blog. He oversaw a time when this blog was thriving and firing on all cylinders. He also oversaw an unfortunate period when its creator abandoned this passion project...for what could have been forever. Through thick and thin, his presence on the top of this page remained steadfast and truly awe-inspiring. I hope frequent viewers have come to appreciate his seductive gaze and open-shirt flaunting, and I hope every newcomer to the blog realizes the overall quality of this blog based on the banner alone.

We wish Jiri Prochazka great success in his future endeavors. May he continue to grace other websites, magazines, or book covers in spectacular ways.

Today, a new man will rise to take his place. He may not have the bold and magnetic aura of Jiri, but he has such incredible charm and a wonderfully welcoming and spirit-lifting presence. He brings with him a bright outlook that is truly needed when our world is in such distress. I hope the viewers find his smile as infectious as I think it is.

The Number One

THIS GUY IS A RULE BREAKER! He takes all my established criteria to earn a high rank on this list, and shreds them and throws them out the window.

Do I share a long history with this guy? Nope, I only discovered him in the second half of this year.

Do I know his name? Nope. Frustratingly, devastatingly, intolerably, no. I don't know his name.

Are there lots of high-quality, non-watermarked photos of him out there? Hell no! Almost no photos of him out there that is available for free passes my high standards to be featured in my blog.

So how the heck did this guy land on the top spot? Why is he top dog? What makes him number one?

Well, um, LOOK AT HIM! Use your eyes! Observe him with the spheres in your ocular sockets. Let the light from the screen strike upon your retina, which will translate the wavelengths into electrical signals that will be sent down the optic nerve highway to the visual cortex of your occipital lobe to be processed into the image of this magnificent man.

My serendipitous discovery of him was stumbling upon this 2019 calendar. Naturally, I was instantly hooked! In all my years of doing this blog, there are very few men that I would consider perfect. But this guy is to me utter perfection. He is flawless from head to toe.

Let's start with his face. Even when he's not full-on smiling, there is a nice closed-lip smirk that is so alluring. And when he is really smiling, his dimpled cheeks are captivating, and his teeth really shines brightly. Plus, his eyes are dazzling, inviting, and hypnotizing. His superpower must be the ability to radiate an aura of charm that thrills all who is in his presence.

Didn't I say that there is little to no freely available photos of this guy that meets my standards? Yes, I did. So why and how do these amazing, high-res, unmarked photos exist? The simple answer is: I paid for them. I actually found it was worth my money to subscribe to a stock photo website so I could download images of this man! And I do not regret the decision. This is money well spent!

I would be remiss to not acknowledge the folks of studioloco who managed to book this guy and capture these fantastic images of him. I truly hope he earns them a lot of money, because he's truly worth every penny.

LET'S MAKE THIS CLEAR! There is absolutely no chance this man would drop down in rank. His throne is forever claimed. No other stock-photo man will ever be able to overthrow him. Absolutely no man can dismantle him in my heart!

In the near future, he may lose muscle mass, or gain an unsightly amount of muscle, or he may gain fat and not be as lean. In the far future, he will indeed age, whether that is done gracefully will depend on his genetics and a few environmental factors. This gorgeous 20-some year old will likely retain his good looks well into his 30s and 40s. But even if he stays in shape, his laugh lines will etch permanent valleys of his face, and his skin tone will be blemished in various ways. Even if he maintains a nice amount of muscle throughout his life, the loosening of his skin will inevitably make the muscles look less impressive. Time will take its toll on the beauty of any man, and this guy will not be spared.

But the fact remains that these photos have captured him at a time when he is truly perfect, and that is how I will always view this man. And when I perish and my opinions of him are no longer relevant, I can still rest assured that these images are forever, and they will remain forever as long as the digital age continues to flourish in human society.

Fuzzy Chest

Don't let the codename "Fuzzy Chest" undercut just how spectacular I think this guy is.

He is #2, after all, in my eyes. (Call me biased, but I think highly of my eyes and their ability to appreciate male beauty)

Like many of these stock photo guys, I discovered him while perusing through a digital men's fitness magazine on my cellphone.

My first encounter with this guy were in dead lifts pictures similar to this, and I thought, wow, he's got a nice body, and I like his face. Of course, I had to screencap those pictures, then load them onto my computer. The next natural step would be do do a reverse image search to see if I can find higher quality versions of these pix, and then to find other pictures that captured his face more closely...

Lo and behold, I found exactly what I was looking for...more great pix of him. But I simply wasn't prepared for the realization of just how fucking gorgeous this man was. I was dumbfounded! Floored! Speechless! I believe my eyes watered as my nose itched just taking in everything that this man had to offer...He is one of the handsomest man I've ever seen!

Do I really have to describe this guy's face to tell you how or why I abso-friggin-love him? He reminds me of Philip Winchester, but with softer tones and more symmetrical face. He also reminds me of Orlando Bloom, but in a much more manly way. In short, when I compare him to most any actors, he beats them fair and square.

Now let's spend some time talking about his body! I think it's scrumptious! If I were to be honestly objective...No, he's not the biggest muscled guy in the list, but the muscle size does not matter to me as much as how defined the muscles look. Also no, he's not the leanest guy either. With a bit less body fat percentage, I'm sure his abs would pop out in spectacular ways.

Nonetheless, everything about this guy just turns me on. The scruff of hair between his pecs, the fullness of his pecs and the size of his nipples. His toned arms and nicely furred legs...absolutely everything is drool-inducing.

The Return of the Banner Boy

Our #3 guy should be a familiar face.

Do you remember Jiri Prochazka?

How could you forget?

After all, he is the man greeting you at the top of the site since March 2015.

Do I think Jiri is a gorgeous guy?

Yes, I think he has a very attractive face, but to honest, some of the previous men in this list have much more appealing facial features. He's handsome, but I'm hard-pressed to find a picture of his face that takes my breath away.

With a gun to my head, his face is a 7.5 out of 10.

Do I think his body is great?

Yes, at his peak aesthetic appeal, before his muscles outgrew his body, his physique was jaw-droppingly magnificent. However, my critical eye still thinks some of the other men I've featured has an overall sexier body.

With a gun to my head, I'd say his body is a 9.5 out of 10.

So his overall score is an 8.5? Does he really deserve the #3 spot?

Yes. There's a lot to be said about legacy, history, and nostalgia.

Jiri represented this blog at its prime, when daily updates were pretty much guaranteed, and I put in maximum effort in making the content great.

It was also a time I could afford to spend countless hours obsessively collecting pictures of a guy. Indeed, I named him Man of the Week, as a way to feature many of the photos I had ravenously collected of him.

And even when my interest in updating the blog waned, and the blog basically laid to waste, Jiri's face was still the billboard of the site.

Sure, there are cuter guys with cuter faces, and there are many muscular men whose body I find even more impressive than his, but once you've reigned within my heart, you will forever be one of the top guys.

So if Jiri is #3? Which two men could possibly dethrone him?

Chestnut Blonde Cutie

Welcome back #4 of my favorite stock photo men.

I've featured this man before, and he is still one of my faves.

He's just so classically gorgeous. The dreamiest boy next door.

I've previously stated that he has the look of a 90's teen heartthrob, which I will still stick by.

But I think hí beauty captured in these photos will forever remain relevant through the digital age.

As much as I want to know his name, I am also hesitant to learn it.

While it is perfectly reasonable that a hot guy would want to keep a fit looking body, the passage of time does tend to decay one's willpower to better one's body. Plus, it's natural for priorities to change and one's focus to shift to other things we deem more valuable in life...and maybe for him, having a lean, toned body isn't as crucial to his self-esteem as it obviously does in these photos.

With the power of knowing a man's name, comes the ability to research his social media, and see what he currently looks like...

Will my idealized image of him be tarnished once I know what he looks like now?

Or perhaps, does he mature even more beautifully than I can imagine? I guess I'll never know...

Say hello to the #5 stock photo guy!

Can a guy's face really be the sole reason he's so high on the list?

Yes.

In terms of facial aesthetic, this guy does it for me!

He is many tiers above other stock photo guys in this regard.

He's such a pretty boy--I mean, man--he's such a pretty man.

But "his face is the sole reason", you wonder? He clearly has a nice body too, doesn't that matter?

It does matter!

If he were dating, I would be happy (and proud and pleased) to stand next to him on the beach.

I would have no reason to complain about his body.

His body is scrumptious the way it is.

However, this blog is inherently objectifying to men, and this ranking/list is the peak example of that. So I do have to view this guy with a critical eye, and my eyes sees that he is not as lean as he could be.

From these photos of him sitting, it's noticeable that he doesn't have the most well-defined abs. His stomach is flat, but I would love to see the clear blocky definition of his abdomen.

So what's the moral of this story?

Probably, it's that I'm a judgey, superficial bastard and don't deserve anyone decent in my life.

Or that if he leaned down (while maintaining his current build) enough to show off his abs, OR if I knew his name and find more pictures of him, I think this guy would move up to the #3 spot.

(His current rank is subject to change in future editions, but I highly doubt he would go down)

The Biceps

During the 2-ish year hiatus of this blog, I stumbled upon this picture (the black and white version). It became a favorite of mine, and I put it in a special folder that I simply named "Best." With this picture, along with 249 other fine photos, I played the folder as a slideshow on the computer or TV monitor while I...um...how do I put this delicately...*dry gulp*...entertained myself.

This 'behind the scene' capture of a man trying to pump up his guns to prepare for the real photoshoot was just too perfect for words. I absolutely love how his biceps bulge out in 3D, backed by equally impressive triceps, and enhanced by a solid slab of muscled torso. It was great self-entertaining material.

I didn't know who he for a while and even though I knew vishstudio is a prolific photographer, I just wasn't willing to scour through the gigantic collection of photos to match the side of this guy's face with front views of all the other male models. It seemed pointless, especially without a blog and an audience with whom I could share my findings.

However, during the few weeks leading up to the return of this blog, I experienced another photo-collecting binge. I finally became obsessed with learning who this guy was, and finding more pix of him. My labor-of-lust bore fruit, and it is oh so delicious.

I'm selling the guy short if I just focused on his arms, aren't I? After all, the man's body is flawless. Every single muscle is as dense and lean and the perfect size that it needs to be. The vascularity of his superficial veins wrap around his muscles in memesmerizing ways. His body is a masterpiece; a perfect 10. How much more redundant can I be to adequately describe this sculpted perfection?

Now let's talk about his face! I think he has a great face that compliments the solidness of his body. I won't lie and say it's a face that makes me swoon, but it's a face that I can tell will age spectacularly over the years.

Here's me trying not to sound politically incorrect and failing...he's got a 'Russian' face. It's a super masculine face, tough but still charming, with a slight scar on his cheek that gives him the quintessential bad-ass look.

If Putin was casting someone to play him in a movie, perhaps riding shirtless on a horse...I feel like this man will serve as his idealized self-image very well.

Wow, I've written a lot, but I left something out. What could it be? Oh yeah, this guy is #6 on my list of favorite stock photo men. Oh, and another thing. His name is Kirill Ingi (though I'm sure you know by now if you've clicked on the pictures and seen the title the titles)

Abs for the Ages

This is #7.

Can a man really be so high up on the list simply for one section of his body?

Definitely YES!

Or at least, it can make a huge difference.

Of course the 'section of the body' I'm referring to is this dude's abdomen.

If you were to Google Image search 'wiping sweat with shirt', you'll quickly see a version of this picture on your screen. (And I'm sure you linger a little bit, or a lot of bit, to admire it)

This picture has been around for a while. I've featured it in this blog before. It's basically classic now.

But there is something innately appealing about seeing a man lift up his shirt to wipe his face, revealing sexy blocks of washboard yumminess.

But a picture like this also begs the question, what does his face look like?

Before we answer that question, let's take some time to admire the rest of his torso!

From the pictures above, you can now clearly see the shape of his pectorals, which are so perfectly rounded and elevated, making his entire chest pop in all three dimensions. And how could you miss the size of his nipples, and the tantalizing small bumps that surround his them. Thank the Gods for high definition photograph!

I don't know about you, but I can't contain my saliva while looking at these photos.

So let's pan up a little more to see what waits us...

Now that we get to see his lips, I'm even more turned on.

His lips are not thin and wispy and shapeless. There is definite shape to his lips. They are the perfect amount of fullness, and just out enough to invite you to kiss it!

So what about the rest of his face?

Please, judge for yourself!

Unfortunately, I can't find photos of him looking straight at the camera.

But from what I can tell, he's a blonde cutie pie! His face doesn't disappoint me at all!

And that's all that matters.

Welcome Mr. #8 to Definition of a Man.

So my very first instinct is to codename him "Parallel Bars Guy" or "Parallel Bars" for short. Yes, it's weird to name a guy after a playground equipment, but I mean, the pictures speak louder than words...so you tell me if these pictures of him on parallel bars doesn't captivate you...

I also could call him "Ripped Bod" which is absolutely true. There are very few men on this list whose body is more aesthetically pleasing to me. His abs are so blocky and well defined (each nugget looks so precious and delectable). His chest is so lean you can see their striations of the edges of his pecs. And his arms are so vascular, it's ridiculously hot.

I could also call him "Calisthenics Guy" but I'm not confident that any poses he does in these pictures counts as extreme calisthenics.

Or how about something cheesey like Mr. "Abs"olutely?

Or Mr. Mighty?

So if you don't like any of my ideas, what do you think the perfect codename for him should be?

Tire Guy

Welcome #9 codename "Tire Guy" to the blog.

It's weird to associate a guy with one object, but honestly, it's how I first discovered him (in a digital Men's Health or Men's Fitness magazine), so he's stuck with that codename until I learn his real name.

In fact, the first pic only was the sole reason that captured my interest. Even though I couldn't see his face directly, his obscured body and that downward angle of his face was still good enough to make me want to find more of him!

And luckily, I found lots more. Here's a nice profile of his face!

Of the tire-flipping photos, I absolutely love this last one. I'm enamored by his tense lips and face. And I love love love his rippled chest and the veins of his arms popping. It's downright sexy AF!

The Epitome

Finally, we've reached the Top 10.

My #10 on the list of favorite stock photo guy is not new to this blog.

He's an 'old' face, but because I now know his name, my interest in him is freshly renewed!

Gentlemen (and ladies), this is Jurgen Luca Simonelli.

Before knowing his name, I referred to him as "Pierced Nipple". I'm sure you can tell why.

Furthermore, when I think of 'stock photo men,' his image often pops up in my head first. Therefore, second codename I gave him was "The Epitome."

Now, being the 'epitome' doesn't necessarily mean he's the best (he's #10 after all), but it meant that in terms of everything that is 'stock-photo-esque'...his pictures just hits a home-run time and time again.

While the photography and sceneries help create the 'story' behind the picture, I think this guy is so dynamic and captivating...he just makes me fantasize all sorts of scenarios with him.

I mean, I have this story in my head of me planning my lunch break at a diner right across from where this guy works. I'm enjoying my sandwich and the view, watching him pour concrete and lay bricks for the highrise that's being constructed. One day, I decided to see what he does after work...and so I followed him to the gym...

I had to quickly sign a guest pass, as he talked to some middle-age lady in the lobby. Soon, he waves bye to her and heads to the men's locker room. I count to 5 missippis at the nearby water fountain before entering the locker. I picked a locker in the same pod as him, but not right on top of him. He undresses next to me, and I change next to him. He catches me staring. He winks at me, biting a corner of his lips, and walks to the steamroom. I follow him in...

What happens next? I'll never tell. XOXO. Gossip girl.

Maksim Trukhonovets

Welcome Maksim Trukhonovets to Definition of a Man!

Maksim, or per his instagram handle Max True, is yet another muscular stud of eastern European origin (Belarus, to be exact), and he's another impressive specimen captured by photog Anton Dotsenko.

I'll be honest. Maksim has an outstanding body, but it's not the best compared to the previous muscular men featured recently. He has a very attractive face, but I also don't think it's the most jaw-dropping face I've featured from this eastern European hunks.

Though he pales in comparison to some men, he outshines other men by a mile his pure presence, and the fact that he is so into calisthenics. In fact, he is a 2x Guinness World Record holder for consecutive muscle ups (that meant he beat his own record once).

The Powerhouse

Welcome #12 to Definition of a Man.

I don't know the name of this man, but I my codename for him is "The Powerhouse." I think you can see why. Just like the two previous guys, he's another majorly muscled eastern European stud, posing in front of the camera, pretending to work out at an empty gym.

Not knowing this guy's name is both a blessing and a curse. It's mainly a curse because not knowing a guy's name is the bane of my existence. I'm always on the lookout, staying alert in hopes that someday I would stumble upon a social media site that displays his name.

On the other hand, it's a blessing in that I can only judge him with the photos I find of him, which have all impressed me. Based on these pix, I do think his spectacular muscles are still aesthetically pleasing. For me, he's altogether a magnificent tall package of lean, thick muscle. So I would be kind of disappointed if I learned his name and is therefore able to find newer pictures of him in which his muscular proportions are pushed over-the-top (just like Zhenya Mikhaylenko's case).

Of course, let's not forget that this guy has a great face too. Unlike some guys who have such a baby-face who looks awkward with a muscular body, this man's face truly fits his body.

Seriously though, does anybody know his name?

Herman Snitsar

Welcome Herman Snitsar (German Sniczar) to Definition of a Man!

He's #13 of my favorite stock photo men.

Just like Zhenya of yesterday, Herman is Ukrainian.

Herman seems to be a shorter guy, but that just means his muscles are compact but just as dense. And frankly, Herman's body is overall more appealing to me than Zhenya's.

Based on his social media page, Herman is both brains and brawn, as his big-brained profession is that of a urologist/urosurgeon. (I assume he's a doctor, but he could very well be a nurse who specializes in urology)

While I'm happy to find other non-stock photo images of him, I do believe these are his best set of photos. For one, the professional photography really captures him well. And his body is outstanding, probably because at this junction in his life, he had the time to really devote to building it to great quality.

To this day, Herman still maintains an impressively fit body even as his high-skill job requires more of his attention. Let's just say I'm really impressed all around with this guy!

If you've been following the blog in the last month, you might have noticed the #13 curse. This is the curse (caused by my total ineptitude at planning things out) in which I declare the guy #13 on my list of my favorite stock photo men, but then decide to push him and all the previous guys back in their rankings so that I could make room for more guys I 'like' even more.

Well, I can assure you that the curse is lifted. There will be a man #12 tomorrow, and a #11 the next day...so on and so forth until we reach #1.

This Ukranian extreme fitness male model is #14 on my list of stock photo guys!

Zhenya is quite a lot of a man, isn't he?

He's one of the most muscular man in my list of stock photo guys!

Perhaps, he's the beefiest guy of them all?!

While I think this guy's muscle mass can be aesthetically pleasing in these shots, I do think that he has gotten to a point where the proportions of his body is just too too much, especially in his newer photos.

Later down the line, after we're done with this countdown list, I want to explore the evolution of his body throughout the years. It's quite an impressive, eye-popping transformation...even if the current results is less than ideal in my opinion.

"Jesse Christopher"

This is #15.

"Jesse Christopher" has been a known entity in my blog for a while. His face is that of the quintessential bad-ass, action-hero, and he has a mind-blowing body to match.

The reason I have his name in quotes is because I honestly don't know how reliable the sources that tell me his name is "Jesse Christopher".

The best source I have of his name is this page from Julie Morgan's books website, in which she claims that he is the face of the main character in her book. There is also a link to a twitter account that is supposedly his, but the problem there is that it is no longer active.

Secondly, I believe I once stumbled upon a facebook page that had his name and image on it as well...but that could easily be fan made...or a fever dream I had.

The third evidence of his name is from a commentor who said, "Jesse although he may be hot he is actually a very sweet and hard working man. Also, his body looks even better in person." It seems to me that the commentor is a photographer who has worked with Jesse before, but that's just my guess.

Ironically enough, if you Google image search "Jesse Christopher," some of the very top images leads to this blog. So...my blog is contributing to the claim that his name is "Jesse Christopher"...and if I'm wrong, then I'm truly sorry.

Whether or not it is his real name, I'm very glad to revisit this guy. And I'm very glad Blogger now allows the maximum image size of 2048 pixels, rather than 1600 pixels from before I left the blogosphere. Those extra 448 extra pixels really do pack a punch.

Now I can re-upload some of his images for you all to appreciate him even more.

While I feel that these pictures are overly produced, creating images that seem somewhat artificial, making him look like a machine made to look human, I still have to give credit to Curaphotography for capturing the best offerings of this man!

The Pecs

At first, my codename for this guy was "Ripped shirt guy". After all, this one image is iconic, so irresistible, that it will be forever the image that I most associate with him.

But that codename was problematic in two ways. 1) there are plenty of stock photo guys with ripped shirts and 2) this is the only ripped shirt photo of him.

So then I had to come up with another codename, and I think this next one is perfect. "The Pecs"

I mean, I honestly can't think of a guy whose pectorals is so prominent and covers such a spacious portion of his chest.

And his large nipples really makes his pecs that much more impressive.

This guy has been featured on this blog many times before, and before he has a limited number of photos, I can't really post many mores without repeating his pix over and over.

However, the four I'm featuring right now are either at the highest resolution I can find of him, or as for the last one, it is the best version of that photo I've found.

The other potential codename for him was "Lucky bitch; cut off her arms and replace them with mine." But I think that would be too wordy, a bit grotesque, and it wasn't about him.

When it comes to downright cuteness....his great smile, his perfect eyes, basically all of his boyish face...he's probably the best of the bunch. It's one of my favorite faces in my collection of stock photo men, but it's certainly the best among the faces that I classify as 'cute.'

And he's got a slim, lean, super-cute body to boot.

If I think so highly of this guy, why is he at this ranking, and not higher?

1) He's a relatively recent discovery. I hold men I've known longer at higher esteem.

2) I don't have a name for him. Very few things about picture collecting is more satisfying to me than knowing a guy's name. Replacing a 'new folder' name to his actual name is immensely gratifying. Then, the ability to search for more pix of him and adding more variety of images to his folder...that's fucking ecstasy. In summary, a man's name is of great value!

3) I prefer man-man to man-boy. While this guy is probably the bestest man-boy I've seen in recent memory, he just can't outclass some of the best man-man in my collection.

Okay, so do you remember me lamenting the fact that I goofed up the numbering of my ranking of these stock photo guys? Remember me mocking myself at my ineptitude? Remember me having to push those early guys back 10 slots, so I could fit in more guys on my list?

Well, um...

I'll have to do it again!

This time, I'm pushing these guys back 5 slots.

But I promise you that this will be the last push back I make in this countdown. I truly truly swear it!

That means that this guy who was #13 on my list earlier this morning is actually now #18. Yes, this pains me as much as it does him to see him drop so 'low' on my list.

I hope you, the daily viewers, can find it in your heart to forgive me. The only thing I can say is that you won't be disappointed by my top 10.

He's #18 of my favorite stock photo guys.

"Brown haired cutie" is another generic codename, I know. It applies to so many guys.

But I do think the word 'cutie' perfectly fits him.

Everything about him is cute.

His face is cute. His body is cute.

He's not a beefy, hunky brute of a muscular man; he's gorgeous and cute.

He's got the look of your ideal college freshman roommate. And because of this, he's appeared on multiple romance front covers involving 'first time' gay stories.

And because of his look, and because he is wearing boxer shorts, his photos have been manipulated many times to appear as though he is wearing different underwear.

Who is David Russel and why does he get to cradle this guy's crotch?

So, is this guy your favorite yet?

The Tall Guy

"The Tall Guy" may be the most generic codename yet...but...I mean...I'm not wrong.

Even though we're only seeing the upper half of his body in these first few shots, you can just tell by how much he fills the screen (and the camera angling upward) that he is a man of vertical prowess.

Why do hot guys think they can get away with this?

Anyhow, this tall cheater stands erect as #19 of my stock photo hotties.

Shoulder Tattoo Guy

This is #20 of my list of stock photo men.

It's obvious why I gave this guy the code name "Shoulder tattoo guy". But that does conflict with the fact that the previous guy also had tattoos on his shoulder. Having said that, I do think the star on the shoulder is a more impressive and memorable tattoo than those that the Constructor had.

I could also call him the "guy with the hair that all the guys are sporting these days"...but that didn't seem to have a ring to it, and there are several guys on the list with his hairstyle.

As you can tell, this guy is a solid stud. He has a superhero's body.

And his face is also bold and handsome, also of superheroic qualities.

This guy can easily rise in the ranks, but as of now, I don't have many more photos of him. Because of that, he's lacking in long term appeal.

But you can bet your ass if I see more photos of him, I will share!
