What is a Cell?

Cell is the most important unit of life. Life starts with a cell and gradually many cells unite to form a larger organism. There are millions and millions of different types of cells

The first and foremost creatures are amoeba and bacteria cell. Has anyone seen an amoeba? Well you cannot. Because they cannot be seen without the microscope (an instrument for looking into smaller things that look big under this machine).The amoeba is made of single cell.

The cell is the smallest unit in our bodies. We have lots and lots of cells in our body. There are brain cells, skin cells, liver cells and stomach cells. These cells have their own work to do and each work in a different way. You can recognize them when you see them under a microscope because they have their own looks and shapes and sizes. All cells have a skin. It is called a plasma membrane. The skin protects it from things around it.

This skin helps waste matters to go out of the cell.

At the centre of the cell there is a round body called the nucleus. There are also many small things inside the cell called organelles and DNA. One is called ribosome and another is mitochondrion. There are also lysosomes. The cell walls hold a plant in shape the same way a skeleton does an animal. In addition to the cell wall the plant cells contain chloroplast. The chloroplast gives the leaves their green color and help in the making of plant food. With the help of chloroplast a plant gets energy from the sunlight.

When you look at a section of the human body, you will see that the human body is made of trillions of cells. There are 200 types of cells. There are very special types of cells in our teeth and gums and also for our eyes. When a baby is born or there is broken bone, everything is related to cell, its division and also its growth.

Cell is the small building brick for life. To send information of one cell to the next, cell division takes place. One cell can just break into another similar cell.

Chloroplasts – These contain chlorophyll which helps the plants to make their own food.

Cytoskeleton – These provide support to the cells and give them shape. This helps the movement of materials in and out of the cells.

Gogli Apparatus – This is a membrane present near the nucleus which is made of many layers that look like a sac.

Lysomes – This take the food that is not digested to the cell membrane for removing them.

Mitochondria – This has an outer membrane called Cristae and these changes fats, proteins and carbohydrates. This helps to form urea.

Vacuoles – Sacs found for storage with water solution in them.

Plasma Membrane – This is the outer membrane that allows little water or other things to pass through.

These are all organelles. The cells are made of intricate organelles which help the cell to do proper work.

Sanjay Dutt’s verdict-shock or justice????

Sanjay Dutt’s verdict has come out as quite a shock to many. There are various opinions about this case and many feel that this is quite a shocker to Bollywood industry.

Before we even get into the right, and what is moral, Let us look at the case and why he was, convicted. Sanjay was detained for 16 months in the year 1993 for possession of weapons that were given to him by Dawood. The public prosecutor and this year fought the case and to be precise this month Judge Kode gave him a 6-year imprisonment. They also cancelled the bail plea. SO, at the end of the day the Law proved to be stronger in the country of India.

Was it a right thing to do? Is it not a harsh punishment for someone who already lived through hell from 1993 until day? Was his time spent in and outside prison waiting to hear the judgment not enough? Well these are the questions for a hot debate in the country today. Let us look at it from the crime point of view. If a person interacts with criminals and has keen ties with them and helps them by keeping the weapons at his place. These Dawood’s blast an entire city and took almost 200 lives’s, .No matter what or who he/she is, the have convicted a crime and are to be punished for the grieve offence. As judge, Kode said, “I must say for every citizen, Laws of nation shall be respected. If you don’t, I don’t except you to be called a moral person”. This is so true, Sanjay was a fav star and he had immense respect among film fraternity and otherwise. However, at the end of the day, he did not respect the law and he got what anyone would deserve. The crime committed by Sanjay did not cause any human lives, nor did it cause any harm to normal life. However, he did involve another person to demolish the weapons and made him turn into a criminal. Which according to the judge is “high element of criminality”?

From the time immemorial, from when civilization started to establish; human being has always been fascinated to perform and create something miraculous and those antiquities have equally been appreciated if the product was so called wonderful.

Through different phases and in different circumstances, humankind has made many monuments and antiquities, which are beyond imagination and not everybody’s cup of tea. Extreme passion, zeal, enthusiasm enabled many rulers and territories build something which were much more beyond the very context of the purpose of their creation.

No wonder, we have huge numbers of wonderful monuments, architectures, places in our world, created in various ages; some ruined, some are leftovers and some are as they are as they were at the time of creation. The lists of wonders have been categorized in various categories with respect to the times of creation, with respect to the nature of the creation and with respect to the circumstances in which they were created.

The earliest list of wonders included statue of Zeus at Olympia, temple of Artemis, hanging gardens of Babylon, great pyramid of Gaza, Colossus of Rhodes, Lighthouse of Alexandria etc. in the middle ages, there were various architectural beautiful wonders like Great walls of China, Porcelain tower, leaning tower of Pisa, Colosseum were recognized as wonders during their time. There have been no official declarations as such, but they were widely approved as wonders by all and sundry. Greatest monuments like The Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Victoria Memorial, Ajanta and Ellora Caves are no less if the architecture is taken into consideration; but some how they had not made an entry to the real list of wonders.

The best monument from our nation is undoubtedly our very own Taj Mahal. It has always been extremely appreciated for its architectural beauty, one of the most visited places, and symbolized love, peace and dedication in a very great way. Its impact is so deep that often Taj Mahal is considered synonymous with the whole nation of India.

In the recent times, several wonderful creations like Panama canal, delta works, golden gate bridge, empire state building, Channel tunnel, Eifel tower, Machu Pichu, Bali, the Acropolis, Angkor, Timbuktu, Statue of Liberty, Sydney Opera house etc and lot many others. It is of paramount pride and happiness to reveal the fact that Taj Mahal has been voted as one of the seven modern wonders and received maximum no. of votes, which is even more satisfying for the citizens of nation; as it has its due lately for the wonderful creation as it is.

Let us discuss some awesome individual entities, which constitute this great wonder and slightly discuss its history of creation.

For starters

The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum complex established on the southern bank of the river Yamuna just outside the city of Agra, in Uttar Pradesh state. Mughal emperor Shah Jahan built it in the memory of his loving wife Mumtaz Mahal died 1631. The work for the very complex begun around that time by his ever-loving husband emperor and it took a marathon 22 years of time to build!

The complex was set up inside a large garden of Mughals called as Charbagh. Crenellated sandstone walls on its three sides surround this wonder. These are used as music houses or museums as of now. The entrance is built of marbles in typical mughal architecture, which was very rich in design and used kiosks in huge numbers on the roofs. However, the focus of the entire setup of various antiquities is the main wan or the main white marble made tomb. It is made up of pure white marbles inlaid by precious stones. It also is home to the burial of the woman for whom this whole building was dedicated, the wife of Shah Zahan. The base of the tomb is cubical shape and having chamfered edges. The most exciting part of the tomb is it is completely symmetrical from all the four sides, which is even more intriguing.

It is not only the tomb or the base or even the symmetry of the lookup, some other most attractive elements are its dome, finial and minarets. It has the shape of an onion, placed above are kiosks, and crowned by awesome finial. This is a wonderful mixture of Hindu and Persian cultural work and architecture. At each corner, there are minarets of 40 meters of height, only to enhance the punching symmetrical beauty.

The exterior segment is carved out wonderfully depicting plant motifs, calligraphy and some sorts of geometric descriptions.

Thinking about the environment & being earth friendly isn’t just concerning the choices you formulate while buying stuff or involving us with the surrounding environment – but it’s really the height of utilization that is most eye catching and also a hindrance to us being earth-friendly.
