Skin tags are soft, non-cancerous skin outgrowths that may appear on various parts of the body. These are caused when the skin is rubbed against the skin. Skin tags usually occur on eyelids, neck, arms, lower part of the breast, and armpits. These fleshy outgrowths are very small in size and appear deformed in shape. Scientifically, skin tags are called as achrochordon. Skin tags can occur both in men and women. Instead of rushing to the doctor, skin tags can be easily removed at home by trying out some simple home remedies.

Causes

Skin tags are caused due to the accumulation of blood vessels and collagen in the thicker parts of the skin. This is mainly caused due to the rubbing of skin, which mainly occurs in skin folds and creases. Skin tags are mostly caused to people, who suffer from:

Obesity
Diabiates
In pregnant women, due to hormonal changes

2. Apple Cider Vinegar

This is one of the best home remedies for skin tags on the neck. Soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and apply it over the skin tag. Use this remedy for about a month for complete removal of skin tag.

3. Onion Juice

Cut an onion, and leave it overnight in a vessel containing some salt. Extract the juice from it, the next morning. Apply this juice every night on the skin tag for at least 10-12 days. It will completely remove the tag.

4. Castor Oil & Baking Soda

This is an easy skin tag removal method. Mix baking soda and castor oil and form a thick paste. Apply this paste on the skin tag and cover it. Leave it for a night. Wash it with warm water, the next morning. Repeat this process for about 10 days until the tag totally vanishes.

5. Pineapple Juice

This is one of the simplest ways to remove skin tags on skin. Apply pineapple juice every day at least 2-3 times, but don’t rinse it off. Repeat it for at least 10 days, until the skin tag is completely scraped off.

6. Garlic

Apply garlic juice over the skin tag at least 2 times a day. But, make sure you change the garlic every time you put it on the skin tag.

7. Nail Polish

Nail polish is also a good way for removing skin tags at home. Cover the skin tag with nail polish, and let it dry. Repeat it for 2-3 times a day for a few days until the tag completely fades off from the skin.

8. Aloe Vera

Apply aloe vera juice and gently massage it on your skin tag. Repeat it daily. This is a good home remedy as it will help in eliminating the skin tag in a few days.

9. Lemon Juice

Soak a cotton ball in lemon juice and apply it over the skin tag. Repeat this remedy for a few days until the outgrowths completely vanishes.

10. Banana Peel

Cut a small piece of banana peel and place the inside part of it over the skin tag. Cover it firmly with gauze, and leave it overnight. Repeat this remedy daily until the skin tags fall off.

11. Duct Tape

Stick a duct tape to the skin tag for a continuous period of 10-12 days until the skin tag is completely removed. This is an effective home remedy to get rid of skin tags.

12. Tying off Skin Tags

This is a common home remedy to remove skin tags. Tie a thread or a dental floss a bit tightly around the skin tag. Now, cut the skin tag by using a nail cutter or scissors. This might sound painful to you, but it is not so. After removing the skin tag, apply an antibacterial cream over the place.

Note- Use a sterile nail cutter or scissors to cut the tags.

13. Vitamin E Capsule

Vitamin E capsules are also used for the removal of skin tags. Press a vitamin E capsule over the skin tag and rub it for some time. For best results, repeat this procedure at least twice for continuous ten days.

14. Ginger

You can also rub raw ginger on the skin tag. If repeated regularly for about 2 weeks, this remedy will help remove the skin tag permanently.

15. Fenugreek

Soak some fenugreek seeds in water for a night. Drink this water on an empty stomach, the next morning. Fenugreek is one of the best home remedies for the removal of skin tags.

16. Vegetable Juices

Mash a potato and a garlic clove. Chop some cauliflower. Extract the juices of all three and mix. Apply it on the skin tag. Keep applying this juice for a few days every night, until the skin tag completely vanishes. You can also put a dab of any of these vegetables on the tag in the night and wrap it with the bandage. Remove it in the morning. Practice it till the tag falls off.

17. Essential Oils

Mix 8 teaspoon of sesame essential oil with 1 teaspoon of oregano essential oil and ½ teaspoon of basil essential oil. Now, soak a cotton ball in this mixture and apply it on the skin tag. Let it be for 30 minutes, and then, wash it off with water. Use this remedy once in a day until you get rid of the skin tag from eyelids or face. You can also apply a combination of lime essential oil and avocado oil.

18. Potato

Place a slice of potato over the skin tag and cover it with a bandage. Potato helps to dry off the skin tag while removing it in a few days.

19. Dandelion Root

Apply the juice of dandelion root on the skin tag. Repeat the process for a few days until the lesion completely scrape off.

20. Aspirin

Dissolve an aspirin in a little bit of water. Now, apply this solution on the skin tag. This will dry the skin tag and let it fade off from the skin.
Anal Skin Tag Removal Ways

Anal skin tags or perianal skin tags is nothing, but skin tags around the anus. Anal skin tags are not painful, though it may be slightly itchy. It was reported that WhatsApp will soon feature a new calling service that will be totally free. Due to a report in Tech Times the support for this service is awaited to be offered via the new upgraded Facebook, which actually owns this messaging application. If these statements are accurate, WhatsApp will be a good competitor with other popular chatting services like Skype or Viber.

The CEO of the company, Jan Korum, was the first one who suggested the voice calling feature for WhatsApp, at the Mobile World Congress on this year. The upgrade was planned to be launched this year in the second quarter, but it is still not available.
From India Today reports it’s been related that the feature was hinted in currently leaked photos, which also imply that the update will be available shortly. Moreover, the leaked pictures of the upcoming UI prove that the application has been enabled with translations of other languages, which will be shown when a user got a call through WhatsApp.

This translation feature has been hinted to be released soon due to some leaks form April. The application is also disclosed in the leaked photos to come with buttons for mute, speakers, messaging and ending calls, from the Tech Times reports.
Furthermore, the users will have some new opportunities with the calling, for instance they will not have to pay any charges for talking to your contacts from you agenda. At this moment, Viber and Skype are charging 1.9 and 1.7cents/ minute, for calls in the United States. Since WhatsApp will be upgraded for calls, it will also have an advantage over Skype and Viber by encountering no delays.

WhatsApp is awaited to firstly offer free calls for the users who have an iOS or Android device, and after a time for the BlackBerry and Windows Phone user, due to Tech Times reports.

According to India Today, WhatsApp has 600million active years, currently and it has increased a 15% in traffic since it’s owned by Facebook. It has not been suggested as well, if the social networking company will be updated or not with a free voice calling.

On observing this Sabarimala Vratham (austerities), the mind and soul get purified as the devotees undertake certain practices and cleanliness. Here are some of the customs and rules of the austerities. For those who cannot start vrata on the first day of Vrishchika can start on any other day.

Maladharanam – Wearing of Mudhra Mala

The Sabarimala Ayyappa Vratha is marked by the wearing of "Thulasi Mala" (garland) or "Rudraksha Mala”, bearing the locket of Lord Ayyappa of Sabarimala Temple. The temple priest or Guru Swami / Periya Swami instigates the Mudra Mala to the devotee (Maaladharanam), by chanting mantra or simply “Swamy Saranam”. Guru Swamy or Periya Swamy is an Ayyappan devotee who has completed 18 successive years of Sabarimala pilgrimage and he guides others for the pilgrimage. The garland is to be obtained after sanctification in a temple / pooja room. Devotees offer "Dakshina" to the concerned priest. Subsequent to this ritual, the devotee wearing the "Mala" is called as "Ayyappan" or "Swamy" and the female (aged between 1 and 9 OR above 50 years) devotees are called as "Malikapuram" (who is the Shakti of Lord Ayyappa).

Below are the austerities and rules that are to be followed for taking the Ayyappa Sannidhanam pilgrimage

1) On the day before starting the vratham, the devotee has to shave, trim his nails and hair and make himself clean. The Thulasi Mala or Rudraksha Pendants should be cleaned and smeared with sandal paste and placed before the image of Lord Ayyappa. Only a new pair of colored (black, blue and saffron) dhoti and towel/shawl is to be used by the devotee.

2) During the Sabarimala Vratam, the devotee should wake up early in the morning, offer prayers and perform pooja to the holy mala. Also, he should not apply oil to his hair and shall not make oil smeared over his body.

3) The devotee of Ayyappa Swami shall not take part in any of the social activities. He shall spend his time only by prayers, poojas, visiting temples and helping the poor/needy.

4) The devotee should consume only satvic foods (vegetarian diet) and abstain from non-vegetarian, alcoholic drinks or drugs, chewing betel leaves and from smoking.

5) Taking bath twice/thrice daily and performing puja by chanting 108 Ayyappan Saranams form part of the austerity. Apart from Ayyappa Saranams, devotees can chant Ayyappa Gayatri Mantra, Ayyappa Ashtottara Stotram, Loka Veeram Mahapoojyam Ayyappa Namaskara Sloka or any other mantras and prayers of Lord Ayyappa.

6) He should not hurt anybody either verbally or physically, and consider all co-devotees as Lord Ayyappan himself.

7) The Swami should not feel proud for the respect he gets during his observance for the pilgrimage.

8) The devotee should not in any way cause trouble to his family members because of his vratham.

9) He should practice pure Brahmacharya (celibacy) in his deeds, words and thoughts, during the pilgrimage period. Only vegetarian food and fresh fruits are to be consumed. He should sleep only on the floor, avoiding pillows. Some devotees do not use footwear so as to make their feet adjusted to climb the Sabarimala hills barefooted.

10) The Swami shall avoid himself from the proximity of dead body. If he happens to see one, he shall not eat anything until he takes bath.

11) It is always better to carry a Thulasi leaf to prevent him from evil spirits and from impurities.

It should be remembered that the blessings of Lord Ayyappa would reflect on those who strictly follow these rules.

Home minister Sushil Shinde said: "Kasab was hanged at 7:30 am. President Pranab Mukherjee had rejected the Kasab's mercy petition on November 6. President signed the Kasab's death sentence file on November 5 and I also signed it on November 8. Later, on November 8, it was decided that Ajmal Kasab will be hanged on November 21."

According to Maharashtra home minister R R Patil: "26/11 Mumbai terror attack accused Ajmal Kasab's mercy petition was rejected on November 8. He also confirmed that Kasab was hanged at about 7:30am on Wednesday.

Earlier, the Lashkar-e-Toiba operative was shifted from Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail to Pune's Yerawada Jail.

The entire process was executed very secretly, home minister said.

"Yes, Kasab has been hanged this (Wednesday) morning at 7.30 a.m. in Yerawada Central Jail," Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam, who led the 26/11 terror attacks case.

Kasab's end came just five days before the fourth anniversary of the brutal terror attacks. The Nov 26-29, 2008 terror siege had claimed 166 lives.

The squirrels of Rajasthan resemble American chipmunks. The fine brushes used by Rajasthani painters are made from the delicate, curved hairs of squirrels' tails.

First, the artists have to catch the squirrels. They wait until the warm weather arrives in the spring, since the small animals wrap their tails around themselves like a shawl to keep warm in the winter. Nobody wants the squirrels to catch cold because their tails have been shorn!

Some flour mixed with spicy oil is placed under a basket. The basket is propped up with a stick to which a long string has been tied. When the squirrel goes under the basket to investigate the enticing odour, the string is jerked and the animal is trapped. Catching squirrels is a task that Nathadwara boys especially enjoy!

The most difficult part of the operation is catching hold of the squirrel with a cloth that is flung over the basket.

Linga means "sign, mark, or symbol". It also refers to a digging implement or plough. Since the plough readies the earth for insemination, the word linga is also applied to the phallus, particularly as the phallic emblem of Shiva. Though Shiva is considered the destroyer (Trimurti) according to Hindu belief, creation (Srishti) follows destruction. The linga is therefore associated with the sexual union of Shiva and Parvati, which results in creation. It is a symbol of the procreative power of the universe.
Linga is derived from the Sanskrit word lingam, which comes from li meaning, "to dissolve" and gam "to move on". This refers to the belief that one appears as a being in the world and then dissolves back into the universe.

A Shivalinga is phallus-shaped and fixed on a base, which is shaped like a yoni. The structure symbolises the supreme creative energy. It is usually made of stone but can also be of wood, metal, crystal, and soapstone.

There are various explanations as to why the linga represents Shiva. According to the Vamana Purana, after Sati's death, Shiva went to mourn in the forest. Seeing the virile god, the wives of the sages living in the forest were enamoured and followed Shiva around. Enraged, the sages cursed Shiva, causing his phallus to fall off. The moment it touched the ground, his phallus started growing. Soon the earth, unable to support its weight, began quivering. When Brahma and Vishnu realised why the earth was shaking, they requested Shiva to take back his phallus. Shiva consented to do so on the condition that the sages worshipped his phallus. He pronounced that nothing would be impossible for one who worshipped the Shivalinga.

The Linga Purana says that Brahma and Vishnu were once arguing over who was the supreme being. Suddenly, there appeared Sivalinga before them a huge column of fire. Both of them decided to find one end each. Whoever returned first would be acknowledged as supreme. Vishnu assumed the form of a boar and dug into the earth. Brahma, in the form of a swan, flew upwards. They searched for days but in vain. Then Shiva appeared in the fiery column. Brahma and Vishnu realised their mistake and acknowledged Shiva as the Supreme Being. The Shivalinga represents that column of fire Jyotirlinga

The phallic cult appears to have been prevalent in India since the Indus Valley Civilisation (c. 3000 BC - 700 BC). Emblems resembling the linga and yoni have been discovered in excavations of ancient cities. Although the Vedas are contemptuous of the linga because of its association with the phallus, later literature like the Puranas and tantric texts laud phallic worship. According to these texts, Brahma, Vishnu and other gods live at the site where Shiva exists in the form of a linga. The Vamana Purana says that during Chaturmasya, Shiva sleeps in all lingas. Therefore, praying at any linga during this time is considered especially auspicious. It is believed that the land within 100 cubits (about 160 ft) of a linga is very sacred and called Shivasthala.

There are approximately 30 million lingas in temples and shrines all over India. Most of them are named after the place where they are located or after the person who established them there. Lingas fall into three categories. The first are the Anadi or Svayambhu, or self-generated lingas. They are believed to be the most sacred and are said to have fallen from heaven. Next are the Sithavara, or fixed lingas. These are crafted and then, after an initiation ceremony done according to Puranic rites, installed at a sacred location. It is believed that once a linga is installed, it should never be moved as that would result in a calamity. The third category of lingas are the Jangam, or movable lingas. These are the miniature lingas, which are made of stone, clay, metal, or other material. They are worn as amulets and necklaces, or worshipped in the homes of Shiva's devotees.

The actual worship of the Shivalinga begins with bathing it, first with water mixed with earth, and then with water mixed with the Panchagavya. The linga is then smeared with sandalwood paste. Next, flowers and leaves are offered especially bel leaves. Next comes the arati, followed by the devotee's prayer. Shiva is believed to be very hot-tempered: bathing the linga and applying sandalwood paste are believed to soothe him.

Shiva Linga is a wide spread Indian Phallic figure. He castrated himself because no one could castrate the Supreme Lord. Thus fallen phallus of the Supreme Lord destroyed all the worlds until it reached the Yoni of Uma/Parvati and cooled down. All procreation of worlds started after the worship of Yoni-Linga was restored and all Gods, including Vishnu and Brahma accepted supremacy of Lord Shiva.

Lord Shiva’s other form is ‘Ardhanariswara’, half man and half woman. Lord Shiva, with his consort Parvati, is always in a celestial dance of procreation and destruction of the worlds. He is not only the embodiment of ‘Kama’ (the sexual lust, desire or pleasure, the force that is the basis for the evolution of diverse life forms and Humans on earth) in the forms of Phallus and androgynous Ardhanarishwara, but also the destroyer of ‘Kama’ when he destroyed ‘Kamadeva’ only to restore his life at the request of Kama’s wife Rati, ‘the coitus or the sexual intercourse.’ Without the sexual desire (Kama) there is no sexual intercourse (Rati) and no procreation. Lord Shiva’s manifestations are memorialized in the local texts of great shrines ranging from temple complexes of Khajuraho in the north to Madhurai in the south.

Shiva mythology, in fact, is a rich source of Indian thinking about sexuality, social relations, ritual, cosmic process, and metaphysics. The Male-Female union in the form of “Phallus or Shiva Linga or Yoni-Linga” or “the Ardhanarishwara” may be visualized as a parallel to the Chinese philosophy of “Yin-Yang” or ‘the Male-Female.” Metaphysically, it also is the most scientific philosophy that explains fundamentals of existence through ‘positive and negative’ or ‘male and female’ aspects of matter and life. Moksha is only after Kama, of the four principles of life-Dharma, Ardha, Kama, and Moksha. Kama is a sacred duty of men and women.

Unfortunately, some of us are ashamed of it because of Christian and Islamic influences. It was unacceptable, shameful and sinful to the Christians. They denounced it without understanding the culture, wrote demeaning articles, made laws and were able to influence the population to some extent. Their purpose was to teach us (the cultures which consider sex as sacred) the true path to God, the Christianity that considers sex as sin and purification of which is attained only by the blood of Jesus, the savior. Victorian Christians had the same kind of shock when they colonized Polynesian islands, for those islanders were sexually explicit in their lifestyle. The shocked Christian missionaries vowed and succeeded to eradicate the satanic culture by converting them to Christianity!

Fortunately, in the Indian continent non-Christians and non-Muslims still survive and continue age-old practices of respect for nature, animals and recognize the sacred aspect of sex. That is why we are considered an old and continuing civilization without any break, while our brethren in Europe lost their religion and culture totally to Christianity. The Indian reformers, with the British influence and help, got rid of some oppressive customs like Devdasi, Basivi, Sati etc., that forced women into prostitution and self-immolation in the name of religion. The yoni upon which the lingam often sits represents the manifest universal energy. From the unmanifest comes the manifest energy, through which all other things are created. The yoni, which is a symbol of Shakti, combined with thelingam, is a symbol of the eternal union of the paternal and maternal principles, or the positive and negative, or the static and dynamic energies of the Absolute Reality. It is the communion of the eternal consciousness and dynamic power of the Shakti, the source of all actions and changes. It is also the symbol for the creation of the universe through the combination of the active energy of Lord Shiva and his Shakti. This is how Lord Shiva and Durga are considered the parents of the universe. The symbolism of the lingam and yoni also represents the base of the spine, meaning the Muladhara chakra, upon which the kundalini is resting, waiting for awakening.

One thing you may be questioning is why Lord Shiva is so often represented as a lingam. Linga basically means a sign or symbol. So thelingam is essentially a symbol of the shapeless universal consciousness of Lord Shiva. “Shiva” also means that in which the creation lies dormant after the annihilation. So, one explanation is that the lingam is a representative of the dormant universal consciousness in which all created things rest after the cosmic annihilation. It also represents the pradhana, the potential but unmanifest ingredients of the material world. Another explanation is that Shiva means auspicious. So the linga is the shapeless symbol for the great god of auspiciousness. It is intended to bring the shapeless unknown into our attention.

There are a few versions according to the Puranas of why Shiva is worshiped as a lingam and how this happened, of which I will relate one. There was a great sacrificial ceremony that was going to take place many hundreds of years ago. The great sage Narada Muni was invited to it and asked who would receive the effects of the sacrifice. No one could answer, so the sages who were present asked him who should receive it. Narada said that Sri Vishnu, Brahma, and Shiva were all eligible, but they would have to find out which one had the most patience and purity to be the receiver of the sacrifice. So he chose the great sage Brighu to learn the answer.

Brighu had many mystic powers and was able to travel to the domain of the demigods. So first he went to see Lord Brahma, but Brahma was preoccupied and did not notice Brighu’s presence. Feeling insulted, Brighu cursed Brahma, “You are so proud of your power of creation, you did not notice my arrival. For this you shall have no temples on earth.” Thus, there are very few temples of Brahma on earth. Next, Brighu went to see Shiva in Kailash, but Shiva also did not notice Brighu’s arrival. Brighu, again feeling offended, cursed Shiva to be worshiped only as a lingam on earth. This is the reason why Lord Shiva is primarily represented and worshiped as a lingam on this planet.

Then, to continue the story, Brighu went to see Lord Vishnu, who also did not recognize Brighu’s presence. Brighu was so angered that he went forward and kicked Vishnu’s chest. Lord Vishnu apologized if He had hurt Brighu’s foot and began praising Brighu. Brighu immediately felt pleased and could understand that Vishnu was actually the most qualified to receive the offerings from the sacrifice. However, Lakshmidevi, the goddess of fortune and Lord Vishnu’s wife, was very displeased by Brighu’s action and, therefore, does not bestow much mercy on the brahmanas who, as a result, are often without much money.

To explain the shape of the lingam, a Baana linga is egg-shaped and is meant to show that Ishvara has neither beginning nor end. The Lingobhavamurti is said to be the prime manifestation of the form of the formless, which Shiva is said to have manifested exactly at midnight on Shivaratri. This is why everyone stays up until midnight and then worships that form during the Shivaratri festival. A representation of the Lingobhavamurti can often be found in a niche on the outside wall of the sanctum in any important Shiva temple.

The lingas in the temples are often formed in three parts. The lowest part is the base square called the Brahmabhaga or Brahma-pitha, which represents the creator Brahma. The next part in the middle is the octagonal Vishnubhaga or Vishnu-pitha, which signifies Lord Vishnu the sustainer. Both of these parts form the pedestal. The top cylindrical portion is the Rudrabhaga or Shiva-pitha, which is also called the Pujabhaga since this is the worshipable part. The top portion is also meant to symbolize the projecting flame of fire. This flame also represents the destructive aspects as well as the preserving power of God.

There are twelve important Jyotirlinga temples scattered across India. They are found in Kedarnatha, Kashi Visvanatha, Somnatha, Baijnath, Ramesvare, Ghrisnesvar, Bhimasankar, Mahakala, Mallikarjuna, Amalesvar, Nagesvar, and Tryambakesvar. The five Pancha Bhuta Lingas in India are located at Kalahastisvar, Jambukesvar, Arunachalesvar, Ekambesvara at Kanchipuram, and Nataraja at Chidambaram. The temple of Lord Mahalinga at Tiruvidaimarudur (Madhyarjuna) is also a great temple in South India.

The reason Lord Shiva is often worshiped by pouring Ganges water over the lingam is that it represents the Ganges descending from heaven on to Shiva’s head. The legend is that when the Ganges first began to flow to the earthly planet from the heavenly region, the force of it would have destroyed the earth. To prevent this, Lord Shiva agreed to let the river first fall on his head before forming into a river. It is also explained that when worshipers pour milk or Ganga water on the linga, it represents the pouring of ghee on the sacred fire in the fire ceremony, or yajna. It is the symbolic offering of ourselves to God.

One story in connection with the Shiva linga is found in the Linga Purana. It describes that once Lord Brahma, the god of creation, and Lord Vishnu, the God of protection, engaged in an argument on who was greater. When those two great gods were fighting between themselves, Lord Shiva appeared as a huge pillar of fire that spread across the universe. He told Brahma and Vishnu that whoever finds the head or foot of his form of flame would be considered greater. Then Brahma took the form of a swan and set out to reach the top of the flame. Vishnu took the form of a boar to seek out the foot of the fire. But in spite of their efforts, they could not succeed in finding the limits. They realized their mistake and the peerless greatness of Lord Shiva. This shows how Shiva cannot be approached through ego, but responds with love to those who surrender to him. In this pastime, Lord Shiva appeared in the form of the fiery lingam for their benefit. So they were considered blessed with additional insight for worshiping that oldest form of him. This form of Shiva who appeared from the flame is called Lingodbhava. This story is found in theShiva Purana and other texts.

This further helps to show how the lingam is not formless nor really a form, but a symbol for the divinity of Lord Shiva. In Sanskrit, lingameans “mark”. It is a symbol of Lord Shiva in the same way that large puddles of water are an indication of heavy rains. It is an inference for something else, like the form of that which is formless and omnipotent.

Varsha Bhosle, daughter of playback singer Asha Bhosle, committed suicide at their Peddar Road residence here Monday. Varsha, 56, shot herself in the head, police said.

New Delhi: Renowned playback singer Asha Bhosle’s daughter Varsha Bhosle committed suicide in Mumbai after shooting herself with a revolver at her home in south Mumbai, police said.

Varsha, a singer and columnist, who was in her mid 50s, had attempted suicide earlier on at least two occasions, they said.

In 2008, she had attempted suicide by consuming overdose of sleeping pills after which she was admitted to Jaslok hospital in Mumbai on September 9.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead, they said. The body would be taken to J J Hospital for post mortem, the sources said.

Divorcee Varsha was married to sports writer Hemant Kenkre. She was a free-lance journalist. The second of Asha’s three children, Varsha, had worked as a columnist for The Sunday Observer between 1994 and 1998 and at Rediff between 1997 and 2003.

Asha Bhosle is currently in Singapore to attend MIFTA awards (Marathi Culture awards).

She had also worked as a playback singer in Hindi and Marathi movies, and appeared in concerts with her mother. She also used to write columns for web portals and magazines.
