Sue has been a friend of ours for many years, so we were honored and excited to be able to capture her wedding in Montego Bay, Jamaica! The wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites on 10.10.10. Sue spent more than a year planning every detail of this wedding, and it all came together perfectly. The bright pinks and orange colors used for the flowers and programs look amazing against Sue's beautiful white dress, and the colorful backdrop of the resort. Sue and David are truly the perfect pair, and we are so glad we could capture these wonderful memories on film for them. Enjoy!

Three days of celebration, dancing, and culture ended with an amazing Same Day Edit. Geetika and Amit started their three-day wedding with a mehendi celebration at India House Restaurant and Banquet Hall in Schaumburg. Their second day was an engagement party at The Westin O'Hare. The third day was a culmination of pageantry with tons of color and family surrounding the couple at The Westin O'Hare. This was such a beautiful wedding in so many ways. As MaryRay got ready for her big day, there were so many smiles in the room. MaryRay and Frank’s wedding ceremony took place at the beautiful Holy Family Parish in Chicago. After they exchanged vows, their reception was held at the Modern Wing at The Art Museum in Chicago. One of the most memorable moments was when MaryRay’s Father handed over his favorite picture of MaryRay to Frank. You’ll have to watch the trailer for this tear-jerker. Lauren and Rebecca met while they attended the University of Notre Dame. They loved our cinematic style and loved our use of the Steadicam (the flying camera) in our wedding trailers. Because it was raining most of the morning, Lauren and Rebecca had their first look in the beautiful lobby of The Palmer House Hilton hotel in downtown Chicago. Their wedding ceremony was at the historic Holy Family Church in Chicago. The wedding reception followed at The Palmer House with music provided by Don Cagen Orchestra. Congratulations Rebecca and Lauren! We wish you many years of happiness together.

Katie + Shawn // A Vineyard Wedding

When we got an e-mail from Katie, asking if we could capture her wedding at a vineyard near St. Louis, Missouri, we were so excited. Vineyards are the perfect setting for weddings! Katie and Shawn started the day early with makeup and hair. After that, they had their first look in the vineyard. We then took a trolley around St. Louis to all the main attractions: the St. Louis Cardinals' Busch Stadium, the Gateway Arch Riverfront, the Soulard Farmers Market, and to top it all off...we were given unprecedented access to the Anheuser-Busch grounds and captured a few shots inside the Anheuser-Busch Clydesdale stable! This amazing day was complete with a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception on the grounds of Villa Antonio Winery in Hillsboro, Missouri. Congratulations, Katie and Shawn! May you have many years of happy memories!

Ashley + Brian // A Surprise Same Day Edit

Several months before Ashley and Brian's wedding, Ashley's parents approached Delack Media Group with an idea. They wanted us to create a Love Story + baby slideshow video to be shown at their wedding reception...with a twist. At the end of the video would be a surprise same day edit of Ashley and Brian's trailer. We loved the idea, so we worked for months planning the execution of this same day edit. With a team of talented crew members, we pulled it off. Ashley and Brian had no idea that we were working behind-the-scenes all day on editing their wedding trailer. Needless to say, when their wedding trailer was projected on a huge wall at Germania Place, you could see the look in their eyes...they were in awe. Laughs, tears, and plenty of applause from the wedding guests followed. The night was a huge success!

Megan + Stu // A Local Chicago Celebrity Wedding

After you see the love that Megan and Stu have for each other, this trailer will bring a smile to your face (and maybe even a tear to your eye). Megan and Stu met on a blind date and are just perfect together. You may recognize Megan Mawicke, a Chicago TV Sports Anchor. In this trailer, you’ll see her beautiful Vera Wang dress and Jimmy Choo shoes. The couple’s first look was breathtaking-on the grand staircase to the main ballroom at The Peninsula Chicago. Battling traffic for the new Transformers movie, we were able to do a small photo session around the Tribune Tower and have enough time to make the ceremony at The Fourth Presbyterian Church of Chicago. As The Peninsula’s grand ballroom was filled with massive flower arrangements, Megan and Stu danced the night away to music by Don Cagen Orchestra. Makeup was done by the amazingly talented Sharai Facen. Reception room design by Heffernan Morgan Designs. Congratulations Megan and Stu! You mean so much to so many.

Dana and Matt were so much fun. Their love for life was definitely apparent throughout the day. The wedding ceremony took place at the beautiful Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hinsdale. We then headed over to Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook for an outdoor wedding cinematography session. Mayslake is a hidden gem. In this trailer, you’ll see Mayslake’s outdoor chapel, which is a replica of the Portiuncula Chapel in Assisi, Italy. What a wonderful setting!

All of the flowers were designed by Kristen Janes and her team at Kio Kreations in Naperville. We also wanted to thank the very talented Michael Rastall of Michael Rastall Photography for introducing us to such a wonderful couple. Dana and Matt, we hope you enjoy this trailer as a memory of your day.

Colleen + Greg // Married in the Dark

The day started out sunny. On top of that, Greg wrote a beautiful note to Colleen, which set the tone for this trailer. After getting ready, Colleen and Greg saw each other for the first time at Prince Pond in Downers Grove, Illinois. It was a beautiful setting for such a nice moment in their lives. The skies then opened up buckets of rain and severe weather. The fire alarms went off just before their ceremony at St. Mary of Gostyn in Downers Grove. Because of the severe weather, all the power in Downers Grove also ended up going out. Everyone pitched in and lit candles to create a beautiful candle-lit wedding ceremony. Colleen and Greg then arrived at their reception (Alpine Banquets in Darien) to find that the power there was also out.

Through it all, Colleen and Greg were the best sports. They were always open and willing to do whatever we needed to get some great shots. As you grow together in your lives, we wish you the very best.

Isa + Anand // A Multi-Day Wedding

The rain wasn’t going to stop this wedding celebration. Isa and Anand had a very traditional multi-day South Asian wedding ceremony. Our wedding cinematography coverage started with the sangeet, where family and friends performed dances to celebrate the couple’s upcoming wedding.

The next day started with the barat. We had two videographers and a Steadicam operator. During this wedding ritual, the groom was led by music/dancing, family and friends to the ceremony. The barat usually takes place outside, but the rain started to pour, so everyone had to improvise and started dancing underneath the awning at Ashyana Banquets in Downers Grove, Illinois. This was such a beautiful ceremony, covered with so many great traditions. Congratulations Isa and Anand! We hope that you will have many years of great memories together!

Erin + Mike // A Cubs Love Story

Erin is a Chicago-based wedding planner and ran across our work at a wedding she had planned. Erin saw the trailer we put together for Angela and Scott's wedding and immediately fell in love with our cinematic storytelling style.

Erin and Mike met during a chance encounter at a Chicago Cubs baseball game, so it was only fitting that Mike received one of the biggest gifts a Cubs fan could possibly receive on his wedding day (you'll have to watch the trailer to find out). The two were married at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Chicago and had their reception was at the Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza.

Delack Media Group also produced a Love Story, highlighting how the two met. Their Love Story video was shown at the reception:

The weather couldn't have been better for this outdoor Chicago wedding. Marissa and Joe got married on the grounds of Chicago’s historic South Shore Cultural Center. Nisha + Rupak // Two Grand Entrances

Nisha and Rupak had a wonderful Bollywood wedding; starting with both of their grand entrances. Rupak surprised all of his guests by riding into the parking lot on a fire truck. Our friends from Tabla Dhol led the procession. Then, Nisha was carried into the ceremony on a beautiful doli. The wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Waterford Banquet Center in Elmhurst, Illinois. Rupak is a huge fan of our cinematic style. We hope you enjoy this trailer of their special day. Meredith + Andy // A Beachside Wedding

For so many reasons, this was such a fun wedding to shoot. Meredith and Andy met while working at Walt Disney World in Florida. During their engagement, Andy forwarded the Delack Media Group website to Meredith. Moments later, we received a call from one of the happiest brides-to-be. Meredith wanted to fly us over to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, where they planned on getting married. We love destination weddings-especially in warm climates! It was such a joy to see Andy and Meredith together. They are such a great couple.

Their families rented a beachside house and had the wedding ceremony just a short walk away on Hilton Head’s popular Forest Beach. The Atlantic Ocean served as an amazing backdrop for this picturesque wedding.

At the wedding, we also enjoyed working with Alexis Sweet Photography.

Thank you Meredith and Andy for asking us to be a part of your day. May you have many years of happiness and love. Congratulations to both of you!

Melissa + Darren

Darren and Melissa got married at the Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton, Illinois. Leading up to the wedding, our Studio would get e-mails from Melissa…counting down the days to their wedding. So much fun! Melissa was full of smiles and tears on her big day. You will see some of those moments in this trailer. A lot of people probably didn’t expect snow in March, but it’s Chicagoland. We had three cameras at this wedding. One of them was our Steadicam, which captured all the moving cinematic shots. We also enjoyed working with Thomas Doggett Photography.

Delack Media Group was proud to be part of a wonderful group of people who used our creative talents to help the local community. Through an international movement, called Help Portrait, we helped organize a free portrait event for Rainbow House, a domestic violence agency in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood. Bhumi and Vimal

Vimal is part of the Indian percussion drum group, called Tabla Dhol, so it's only fitting that music was important in their wedding. Bhumi and Vimal had a traditional Indian wedding ceremony, which was held at the Holiday Inn Skokie.

They started outside with the Groom's procession, led by dhol drummers and all their family/friends. Inside, Bhumi made quite an entrance (see trailer). After the ceremony, the Bride's family said goodbye to them. Their reception was full of bhangra music, dancers, and performances. The night was topped off when Vimal grabbed the dhol drum and played along with bhangra tunes, mixed by the extremely talented Pardeep of Monu Creative Sounds. Sue and Brian's marriage ceremony was in New York, but they wanted to share their special day with family and friends back home. It certainly was not an easy task to pull off, but Sue and Brian blended their two cultural traditions into a beautiful Korean and American wedding celebration. Their evening started off by wearing traditional Korean wedding outfits. Everyone then had the chance to view the Korean wedding ceremony. Sue and Brian then changed into traditional American wedding outfits and continued their night with a reception at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Chicago-Northbrook. After watching this wedding trailer, you can see why family is so important to them.

Alisha and Dan wanted to have an urban wedding, so they picked Loft on Lake for their ceremony and reception. Beautifully decorated, Loft on Lake was the perfect setting for an intimate wedding. After saying their vows, Alisha, Dan and the bridal party braved the 45 degree weather and walked around the Chicago neighborhood for an urban photo shoot. We captured some great footage here. Wedding coordination by Katie Parker at Simply Eventful and photography was done by Steve Koo.
