'Somebody' is the first single from the new Aurra album ‘Body Rock’ due out later this year on Family Groove Records. Once again the world gets to experience a lost disco-funk masterpiece providing another glimpse into the genius mind of Slave founding-member Steve Washington & Brides Of Funkenstein / P-Funk singer Sheila Horne. Body Rock will be the second and final unearthing of the lost but found Master Tapes originally recorded for Quincy Jones' Qwest imprint in 1984. Slap Bass, heavy synths, Linn Drum, sultry vocals... this is Modern Funk at it's finest! The 24-track master tapes were transferred digitally and then mixed on an SSL board by Kamal Humphrey at his all-analog Flying Carpet Studios in Los Angeles. The result is a full sound enhanced by the natural analog process using today's digital technology only when needed to clean up the files. DāM-FunK adds a bit of dirt and grime by putting his signature Re-Freak on the track. A confirmation from Los Angeles’ Ambassador of Boogie Funk that this is in fact the the un-cut funk and nothing but the funk. Pre-order includes immediate download of 2 tracks in the high-quality format of your choice (MP3, FLAC, and more), plus unlimited streaming via the free Bandcamp app. You'll also get the complete album the moment it’s released.

Saritah has a positive vision for the future which shines through every word she sings and every note she plays. Playfully powerful, her live shows are colourful celebrations of life. Her songs are reflections, affirmations, revelations. She brings a potent combination of feminine spirit, conscious lyrics, heartful melodies and a unique union of roots, reggae, soul, acoustic, and dancehall.

**Skylines: The 10 year mark release**: Skylines is the latest release to date, and it is also a special one as it represents 10 years of ups and downs pursuing the arts/music as a career. It's been a good while, and yet, it feels like just yesterday since I took the first step. The release contains some elements and vibes from all the older releases as well as some new elements that are unique to this one. This set of scenic grooves are perfect for warm summer days and nights, keeping that perfect temperature all year round. As always, bump these tunes to ride, vibe, and clear your mind to. After all, the main goal is to: **Spread Wisdom and Vitality with the Arts and Groove**
