<p>Qualifications:</p>
<p>Successful applicants must be very organized, confident, high-energy,<br />
possess an active sense of humor, work hard and turn around<br />
assignments quickly. Candidates are required to be trustworthy,<br />
dependable, detail-oriented, learn quickly, as well as have good<br />
customer service skills. Experience in Washington DC, a state<br />
legislature, on a campaign, or other Democratic Party organization is<br />
a plus. Ability to work effectively and efficiently with little<br />
supervision is also a plus. Applicants must have a car or regular<br />
access to FlexCar as candidate needs frequently take us out of the<br />
office. Specific issue-knowledge is not necessary, although<br />
demonstrated interest in Democratic politics and social change is<br />
strongly preferred.</p>

Applicants must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.  Ties to Connecticut are preferred but not mandatory. This is an entry-level position.
